I was visiting family in the area and needed a last minute picture printed for a baby shower. I…read moresent it to the closest CVS and I am glad that it was this one. At first my picture did not load when I sent it through the app, but Ian, the store manager called me personally and spoke me through the process. When I was still not able to get it done online, he suggested I come in and do it. Upon my arrival to the store, we were greeted by a wonderful cashier (sorry I didn't get her name), but she got Ian from the back and he took his time and helped me print an amazing copy of my picture on a canvas. The cashier offered my sister and I cold bottle water as we waited and chatted with us to help pass the time. Ian and all of the employees where so pleasant and helpful and gave true southern hospitality. I normally visit the area once or twice a year and I know for sure I will always use this location for all my photo, pharmacy and other store related needs; as the services was amazing and the staff kindness went above and beyond to help. This makes me confidence to say that I will always spend my dollars there when I am in the area and even just pop in to say hello!!!

I called several times over the course of 3 days to confirm my prescription and I could tell they were super busy. The lady was very courteous. Also everything was clean with no debris in sight. When you walk in it looks like a retail gift shop vibe. However just to the left they offer Hersheys ice-cream. I would personally skip online of Brown dog in town that makes craft varieties. I browsed around and the pharmacy is on the rear as well as restrooms. The lunch counter is on the far side and offers booths and large counter. They were not busy for a late lunch. I sat at the counter and received immediate attention. Menu was available and I quickly decided on a BLT and chips. Rayfields also offer breakfast all day. The vibe is pretty neat and unique for this area. I like watching everything being made in front of you. It took less than 10 minutes for my sandwich to be placed in front of me. An old fashioned BLT, it's been years. First bite was good, everything seemed fresh from bread to tomato. Bacon quality. Chips meh, but that's ok as not much expected. My bill was dropped upon request. Price was fair. Tip can be applied on card. I would return.

Two carts were left in the aisles blocking the path so only one person could pass down a portion of the aisles. A lot of the merchandise that was supposed to be on sale was not available which was disappointing. I asked the cashier for a price check on an item that was in a box listed at a lower price than was displayed on the package. He didn't do a price check he told me the price was the price listed on the item. The price on the box the item was in was wrong. He was not very pleasant. I came home an deleted my Walgreens account on-line and will never step into a Walgreens again. If I could have rated the store at zero stars I would have done so!

I noticed that a lot of things were locked up in the soap, detergent, & ethnic hair care aisle. That's very annoying! I was able to quickly find my things and proceed to the check out. The cashier was NOT very friendly, but she did her job. Maybe she had a rude customer right before me. I don't know. If I'm ever in the area again, I will be back. It wasn't the worst experience I've ever had.

I found cute lip sticks, eye shadows, and lashes all under $4. I do love a good deal. The store is clean and the staff is nice. They have self checkout registers now as well. The pharmacy closes for lunch for 30 mins to an hour each day. So make sure you call ahead for the correct times. The store has a decent selection of items. Some prices are reasonable but there are also some higher priced items that made me raise my eyebrow. There's even a small as seen on tv section. They also have a few frozen foods, snacks, drinks, and etc. This location tends to have alot of people asking for money. So be aware!! They will walk up on you with no problem. Some are nice but a few are persistent and don't like taking no for an answer. This is a nice store though and i like the staff. The pharmacist get to know you and will answer your questions.. They are very personable with their regular customers... 4 stars... Check them out!!

I can't believe it's been a year since I last posted a review. Walgreens has continued to be a…read moreplace for picking up medicine. Let's see how things have been lately. For the year, just like before, I would receive notifications on when my meds were ready. And as usual, I would head over here via drive-thru to pick them up. Sometimes, the line would be 3 cars deep. But that's no big deal to me. Just picking up prescriptions was the priority. Staff always seemed busy either talking to customers at the counter or addressing them at pickup. The usual norm. Walgreens has always delivered for me and will continue to for the foreseeable future. Till next time :)

I come to pick it up at 6:30 and it's not ready yet. How?! I told her the lady told me it'd be ready at 5 and she just repeated "its not quite ready yet." Eyeroll. Very pissed off because I have better things to do than sit at Walgreens all friggin day. I won't be using this location again.

This morning, my husband went to the Gloucester, VA location to print some photos from his phone. I…read moretold him to ask for help since we're not very tech-savvy with their machines. He waited about five minutes before the photo area employee even acknowledged him. When she finally did, he explained he wanted to print pictures from his phone, and her response was, "You're a big boy, you can figure it out." Is this what passes for customer service now? I'm completely disgusted. He didn't get her name, but it should be easy to find out since it was early in the morning. I'll be spreading the word about this blatant disregard for helping someone. It makes me question why she's even working there if she lacks the basic customer service skills needed to interact with people daily. I hope she's reprimanded, as I doubt this was the first time she's refused to assist a customer. Gloucester has lost my business for good, and I'll make sure others know about their lack of customer service.
