This is the best optical store that I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with in my life. I have never seen such a large selection of eyeglass frames from which to choose. Although everyone is welcoming and friendly, Joel, who helped me find just the right eyeglasses to wear, was particularly professional, friendly and courteous. It actually seemed as though he would have had me try on every possible pair of eyeglass frames in the store until we found the three pairs that I was interested in purchasing. This is so unlike other places that show you just a few pairs of eyeglass frames and expect you to pick out something from just those few pairs! P.S. It wasn't necessary for Joel to show me every possible pair of eyeglass frames in the store that might suit me, as he is so good at what he does, he knew just what frames would be the best for me after just looking at the shape of my face and listening to the types of eyeglass frames in which I was interested! I purchased glasses at Visionworks in Bradenton, Fl. After I wore them for one day I knew they were not correct so I returned to the store. The manager of that store seemed annoyed that I was not satisfied with the glasses and the gentleman that took my order and measured for the trifocals told me they just needed to be adjusted and did so. Well I have worn glasses since I was a child and knew he was wrong. So I came back to New York and took the glasses to the Staten Island location where Rick Griffith the manager checked my prescription, the lenses and after re-measuring agreed that they were not properly made. Without hesitation Mr. Griffith called the Florida location verified the billing information and had the lenses redone. I have received my new glasses and couldn't be more satisfied! read more

They have a very large slection of designer frames and the freedom to try on as many pairs as you like without the worry of holding up other customers. Visionworks in the Staten Island Mall is Synonymous with Excellent! Rick, Taleema and Adrianna provided me with Exceptional customer service. My 14 year old Daughter needed her glasses tightened and she was able to get them tightened in minutes, right in time for back to school. Been using this locations services since it opened and also used them at their previous location by the Outerbridge. Every time has been a pleasurable experience. Took my mother there during their bogo and she was pleasantly surprised. When we walked in however the girls at the front were standoffish, but Joel overheard my mother's plight and spent the time with her so that she could get what she wanted and pay what she wanted.
