I'm going into detail, so no one wastes time, money, or risks taking their fur babies here. I've always loved Dunckel. The last year, since they sold, all the good vets left. I've spent so much money here the last year cause the newer vets are not only inexperienced, but they don't acknowledge your pet, or even use a consistent vet to get to know your pets. My family rescued a 2nd cat (a stray) last year, and every visit since has been horrible. Issue #1.) The vet checked our stray cat, and said she needed to spayed. We paid for pre-op blood work, medications, exams, fees to walk in the door, etc. All to get a call that AFTER she'd been fully sedated and shaved, that she had a scar and was already fixed. They still charged us, and never reimbursed for the pre-op blood work. No accountability, no apology. Issue #2.) They cannot handle feisty or angry cats. I have an older, very feisty cat. The last 2 times she was taken in they were unable to treat her at all, and said she "wouldnt let them"... They prescribed a double dose (night before, day of visit) of an anxiety medication for a high price. We used that, and they still couldnt even get an xray of her back or leg. Issue #3.) They want to fully sedate my cat for an X-RAY. Not only that, but they still charged over $100 for two straight visits in where they did NOTHING. I understand my cat can be mean and difficult, but this is a vet. This is their job. She can't be the only cat that hisses and growls at the vet... Issue #4.) The vets seem to be afraid of her and don't even try to get to know her. They barely talk to my her, or acknowledge her. If they were half as kind to the pets as they are people, it'd make a difference. There are a few vet techs that are great, but that's it. The actual vets are horrible. Never trusting them with my cats again.

I wanted to respond, but was unable to. My cat was given oxygen and I was not informed. She was priority one and went to priority zero. They took my cat and I was unable to accompany her. Not being with my cat had not happened since COVID. I should have taken her right back out to my car and went somewhere else. I was then asked " If my cat went into cardiac arrest did I want my cat resestiated. " I had never been asked that question. For $1,000.00 they would perform CPR. Of course I was anxious and it was a stressful situation. An emergency so I agreed. There was a lot of red flags. I saw people applying for financing through their facility. It was a shameful process. I want to say taking advantage of people in a vulnerable situation. Needless to say I watched people and animals come and go. Their response was full of excuses. Like they gave my cat oxygen free of charge. Oxygen i was not informed of. They never told me my cat was in respiratory distress. They thought they were going to charge me but I was not backing down. I demanded my cat be returned to me immediately. There was people in the lobby and I made my point. I heard my cat may need treatment but they were not sure. My cat would be waiting for an unknown time. The vet was in critical surgery for 3 hours. Remember many people and animals had come and gone. Had the vet stopped her surgery and treated those animals? With all the gaslighting when I was there and in their response, people should beware of the treatment you may receive. That you may be prayed upon at a vulnerable time. They will use fear and emotional distress to get you to sign your life away to save your fur baby. Taking my cat home was the best decision I could have ever made. We took her to her vet office today. I was so grateful for the care she received. I donated to a fund to help others pay their bills. Bought them coffee and donuts to show my appreciation. A little love goes a long way. My senior asthmatic cat is healthy but needs a little extra meds to maintain her condition. My take away from this situation was read all the reviews to make an informative decision. Make sure you can accompany your pet in the room for their comfort and your piece of mind.

My 6 month old…read morechihuahua has a spot on his back, missing fur which has developed quickly over the past 2 weeks. A very strange sore that I had no clue what to do with or where it came from. His original vet was unable to see him until Monday and I was unable to wait in his condition out of fear for my kids and other animals. I was able to get an appointment Wednesday evening for Thursday at 4:20. I got a voicemail at 7pm on that same Wednesday saying I needed to reschedule as they would not have a doctor Thursday so we agreed to Friday. When I arrived on time, I waited almost 15 minutes past my appt time to go back. Amanda at the front desk was kind. Not expecting the office to be a miracle worker, just hoping to find out what it is and if it's contagious or not as I have 2 kids and 2 other dogs, "Dr" S, a dark haired woman they consider a doctor, hardly looked me in the face speaking to me and had 4 VERY different suggestions on what it could be, leaving me in the same spot I started with no knowledge on the issue. I tried to be understanding and make suggestions (making suggestions to a doctor about something in which I know nothing is bizarre itself, I was desperate and hopeful for some kind of reliable answer). She was adamant on fleas, I assured her there were none and I'd just done a flea bath Wednesday before scheduling the appt. She insisted on combing my dog which was fine to rule it out for her, then realized there were indeed no fleas. She then switched to a hotspot, then maybe ringworm (which I was concerned of because of stray cats in my yard but was unlikely) then wound up with staph infection. She then suggested a multi-day antibiotic which I quickly turned down with plans to just take him to his regular veterinary office to find the real solution. I was charged $88 for a less than 5 minute visit that was rescheduled on their part, then waited after my appointment time after working all day and turning down his original vet that called me back because this place seemed hopeful and I did not want to cancel short notice on their business. I went back in to speak about the charge because I was completely mind blown. I don't think anyone can afford to be blindsided with no positive result whatsoever or take a risk in spending more on a seemingly VERY uneducated guess. The Dr. S woman began to say how hard it is to tell what skin conditions can be and how they should've notified me of the charge over the phone. I was notified of the charge but they knew why I was coming, I would have greatly appreciated a heads up that they may not have a reliable solution to my issue for that reason as well. When Amanda (who I assume is the boss) came to the counter to speak with me, an unknown man followed her to listen in on what must have been considered the latest drama and Dr. S continued to cut me off telling Amanda it was a staph infection. It would have been a different story if she was as sure in the beginning as she was when her boss came out. I then decided to cut my losses as they invited an unknown person to the situation which made me feel as a customer with a problem, 3 to 1 which I did not deserve when I only wanted to be heard and understood. I am sad I wasted my money here and have to start all over again with an entirely new vet bill Monday. I did not have the money to waste right now and regret investing trust into this place. I hope you enjoy the $88 tip.

Every single litter is bred with intention to have health, beauty, and well-raised puppies. I have raised Labrador retrievers for over 35 years, and I know what it takes to have quality puppies. When I was looking for a French bulldog I was referred to Jessicah over 7 years ago. Once I spoke with her, and then met her in person, I knew I found my breeder. The dog I purchased from Jessicah has been healthy, well adjusted, and a perfect addition to our family. I don't think anybody knows the time, tears, and effort it takes to raise a healthy well adjusted litter. And then the job of picking the right owners to take on your babies is a monumental feat. In every business, there are those people you should see coming. The ones who don't have good intentions, but fool even the best of us. After contacting Ericka Johnson with the final diagnosis she was dismissive and hostile. This was absolutely shocking as her website promises a "Healthy Legacy" and a "Health Guarantee".
