Upon entering the salon (or so i wish to call it), I was greeted and welcomed, despite the busy clientele. I was treated with the utmost respect and asked if there might be an opening the following day. Bear in mind, I had no clue what I was doing, nor did I know what image I had in mind. I was instructed to go on-line and find an image to email over in advance, which I did. Stopped in at the Los Poblanos Norte bar/mercantile, go in to Shrine/ Ex Voto and I bought a very nice gold diamond stud I figure will be a great piece for my new piercing. Go back to ikigai, it's now an hour later, no one is back. Bottom line, waited two hours and I see people entering the shop, I go to enter, and they inform me that they are closing early. Not only did this process make my piercing bleed, but he also requested that I pay for this. Not great. The place was clean, which was a plus, but the jewelry is also quite expensive. One thing I noticed was that Nick took his time and thoroughly cleaned his work area and wiped the surfaces down and covered in plastic wrap.
