I had my appointment at 2pm. Waited almost 45 minutes in the lobby, finally saw the doctor who was great. Came out to place my contract order and the reception was MIA. Placed my order finally and a month later I haven't got my contacts, nor my prescription nor a call back. These people seem to really not care about their clients. Very unsatisfied now I hope I can get my money back so that I can order my contacts somewhere else read more

This office is really unorganized and slacking. Went in for contacts and was short for what I needed to pay. Was told to call before 5p that day to pay for them over the phone in order for me to have them the next week. Went to the bank and made the cut just by 5min, only to be told by a different receptionist that they can place the order without payment and I could pay when I picked it up next week, nice to know that after I raced to get to the bank. Fast word to the next week to call for what I assume to be my contacts are ready. But it's for them to ask which prescription I wanted. A WEEK LATER. Now flash forward TWO WEEKS after that phone call. And i now have to call on my own. I told them it's been almost a month since I placed the first order and was told that a "big box" came with a lot of orders and my contacts just happened to be there. And that it was such good timing I called. LMAO They really need some understanding of how to keep their clients up to date and really know how to be in contact amongst themselves. Will definitely be looking for another office after this experience. read more

Been coming here four 4years now. Today was the last day. They have a new charge for over $60.00 just for the contacts consultation do they called it. It's a new charge this year. I have full insurance. They wouldn't let me have my new prescription without paying for that extra charge. I've always purchased my contacts and designer glasses there. I chose this place because it was close to home. They had a pretty good selection for Glasses, including Sunglasses. I chose the Oakley's and I am very happy with them. The wait time for my prescription was fairly quick, and the staff did a good job of notifying me that my glasses had come in. I am an appreciative patient of Dr. Lee. I followed her to Rancho Cucamonga, even though it is a 60 mile drive each way. Her attributes of thoroughness and professionalism in explaining the changes in my senior vision and options for treatment are always appreciated and obviously worth the time. Her team has also assisted in providing cycling specific prescription lenses so i can look and ride my best. Dr. Lee is awesome but her staff is completely unprofessional and horrible. They never call you to on time when your glasses/contacts are ready for pick up. It took 3 months to finally get mine. (no joke) They gave me excuses after excuses. To top it off my son's appointment was in January last year (2015) and now when we tried to go somewhere else, I found out that they didn't charge my insurance for his prescription until April so he has to wait until April 2016 to get a new, very needed, prescription. If you do get to go there, pay close attention to the talking between the staff. It is complete nonsense, has nothing to do with work and your paperwork will sit there until you finally say something. They will take care of you eventually, but with an attitude. I don't recommend them and I will never be back read more

I enjoyed my visit here. Everyone was helpful, kind and thorough. The only thing I'm taking one star off for is the Rodan & Fields paperwork they pushed on me to fill out, and the R&F advertisements everywhere. I love this place!! Everytime I have had to go in for one reason or another it has been an amazing experience. The staff is very helpful and sweet.. I went in because my daughter lost her glasses they were able to get her glasses right away and give her what she wanted within a reasonable price range. They got 2 very happy customers that day! My family and I have been coming to day creek optometry for years now and have never left unsatisfied! The staff is always polite and gets you straight in at the time of your appointment. With the combined efforts of Danay and Christina, my test before seeing Dr. Lee went swiftly and without complications. Dr. Lee is exceptional because she took me through multiple slides to make sure my vision was exactly how it should be. Did not even take 30 minutes for everything to be finished and on my way. Well, the office is really nice and Dr. Lee is great, BUT I went in for a contact lens exam beginning of March, the visit went smoothly, they ordered my contacts and charged me $45 for 6 visits after to make sure the contacts fit correctly. 3 weeks later I get a call that my contacts are in, I wear them for 3 days and one ripped, completely in half. I called that day and they said they would order a new one and it would be in in 2-3 days. 3 days later I call and they say it usually takes a week (then why say 2-3 days??), so a week goes by I call again. I was told they would call me back when they get their shipment in. 2 days pass, I call again, the lady tells me it looks like they were never ordered. At this point, I'm so irritated, she says she's going to order them and put a rush on it. A week later I call and was told the Optomitrist would call me back. She leaves me a voicemail saying they would be in on Apr. 25th. That's 2 weeks away and a month after I originally called. I'm so not satisfied with this office, getting the run around and its very frustrating. I would not recommend this office. read more

I had high hopes for this office. I ordered expensive coatings for my kids, and 2 out of 3 were done incorrectly. The problem with this is had I not be a proactive parent and checked my kids lenses , we have paid for coatings we didn't get. That's over 200 dollars. The wait to get glasses is very long and they promised a rush order due to their mistake (said 2 days), and it is still out, and it's been a week. I feel like the front office is irritated when I call, and it's not my mistake. I just think in situations where things aren't done right, customer service needs to go above and beyond, and that hasn't happened. Two Separate Orders Done wrong Which Creates More Unnecessary Visits And stress. Dr. Is nice but that's about it. I am in the hunt for a new office. read more

Came for an eye redness problem. Wait for 20 mins in the lobby and no patient came in or out. No patient and still let me wait for 20 mins? Doc didn't say much after exam my eyes, just say a corneal ulcer, maybe try to explain what it is?? Then she went out to write me prescription medicine. What? She couldn't remember the name of prescription? Can't write in front of me? Not professional. I then went to pick up my prescription, with my insurance, it's freaking $140 US dollar. What the heck. Just for some drops and it's $140. Can't consider a cheaper solution for patient? Won't return again. read more

I was a customer for 3+ years, I choose to neglect the little things that bugged me about this place, but I finally saw the light and will no longer go back. First off, Dr Lee was very nice, her staff is the reason we are leaving. I always got a bit of attitude from the staff, like they were looking down on me, but I brushed it off. Then there was always the glasses will be ready in 2 weeks, never ever got them in less than 4 weeks. usually with a follow up call I made. My husband had to return glasses several times because they were unusable, but they just kept insisting he would get used to them. This was after no call for 5 weeks and we had to call them to find out what was going on. He got a refund and went back to our old place, where he got a perfect pair in one week. The final straw was yesterday. I had called on Thursday to verify I was eligible for new frames, and after 10 minutes on hold the girl said the computer said no, but her records said the last frames I had were over 2 years ago so I should be eligible, she would call and get back to me that day. Well no call, no voice mail, so I call on Friday morning. The girl that answered the phone has no record of anything, and says can I put you on hold while I look it up. 20 MINUTES LATER, a new girl answers the phone and says can I help you? WTF. I explain the situation again, She says she asked around but no one was helping me. So the 1st girl must have put me on hold and walked away to take care of a patient. She apologizes and she looks up the info while I am on the line and says everything is good.I ask if she will try and find out who left me on hold for 20 minutes and she just said, I will mention it to my manager. I hang up pissed, look up the reviews of this place on yelp and other sites and come to the conclusion that life is too short to put up with this kind of treatment of a long time customer and call back and cancel my appointment and make one with the old place. The irony is that even though it will take 2 weeks to get in (a sign of a good place by the way) I will probably still get my glasses sooner and with better service and quality. It is a shame, because I liked Dr Lee, but her staff needs to either be retrained or replaced if she wants to stay in business. read more

I have never been so disappointed in an eye dr. my whole life of having glass since I was 8 years old. I had an appointment yesterday and I was a new patient, my firs time here. I just moved to the area from the Eastern Sierras so I needed a new eye dr. The front office staff were friendly, but not very professional. They didn't seem to care about me, especially being a new patient. The wait wasn't very long. An assistant took me back for pre exams. She was nice and friendly. The machines seemed old and outdated. After the pre exams she took me to the exam room. I waited for atleast 10 minutes for the Dr. to come in. When she finally came in, she didn't even introduce herself, say hi or nothing. She just said have a seat. Didn't ask me any questions or why I was there or if I was having any issues. She went directly into the eye exam with the "1 or 2" speal. She was kind enough to repeat the 1 or 2 when I wasn't sure. After that, she used a different machine to shine a line in my eye. Mostly all of my eye drs would tell you what they are doing next so you know what to expect, but she just said "put your chin here" and bam, bright light... owwww, it would have been nice to know that was coming. After that, she explained my prescription has changed, more so in my left eye and everything looks okay. I asked her about the floaters I have in my eyes and the eye pain I get often. She said its just from strain with my glasses being outdated. Then I went to the front to see the guy who sets you up with new glasses. He was nice and friendly, but really didn't seem like he knew anything or knew what he was doing. Very inexperienced. When it comes to getting new lenses or glasses, your prescription has to be spot on, you have to haev the right type of frames for your prescription as well or else your eyes are in for a world of hurt or pain. We were going over prices and the guy had the audacity to tell me "If I were you, I would get my glasses from somewhere else". He obviously knew something and warned me to stay away. Wish I would have known this before I made the appointment. I asked for my prescription on paper, paid my copay and ran away as fast as I could. Definitely Will not be going back there. read more

I remember this office. I went here few years ago.The doctor is nice and the office is clean, but the assistant /technician ,whoever is she fixing my glasses is HORRIBLE! It took almost a month (i had to keep calling to ask if my glasses came in already) before I got my glasses and when I get home I noticed that there was a crack on the right lens. I went back and showed her the crack, after a lengthy conversation she said she'll fix it. After few weeks I came to pick it up and when I try it on... whoaa! I got dizzy! I'm 100% sure that the new lens that she put was not the right prescription. To make it worse, She have her own diagnosis that I have astigmatism on the right thats why she put a different one!!!! When I asked for the doctor, she told me that doctor is not there and also if she put another lens, my insurance won't cover it anymore... in short I ended up going home with my old cracked lens... read more

Went to Day Creek Optometry (new location on Milliken Ave.) for my annual eye examination on February 1, 2017. After arriving, only a short wait before a staff member led me into a preliminary exam room for some tests. I was taken to the examination room where Doctor Lee used various lenses to obtain my prescription for corrective lenses. Doctor Elaine Lee and her staff were friendly, professional, and answered questions I had, during my examination. read more

HORRIBLE!!! My husband got glasses from Day Creek Optometry in Feb 2012 and was very disappointed. Their service is poor, lab is sub-par and it took 3 1/2 weeks to get his glasses. They had to send his glasses back to the lab 3 times and finally got it right the last time because they used a different lab. Re: service, you can call their office and ask a question and the person can't answer the question and says they'll have someone call back, so when nobody called back, he called called back again, they said they knew nothing about what my original question was (serious case of playing dumb, or are just plain lazy). Last, he called to get a copy of his eyeglass prescription faxed and had to call three times before they actually did it. At that point, we changed to Foothill Optometric in Rancho and they are milion times better and service is outstanding. Night and day diffrence in the two. read more

We were taken back after filling out some paperwork, our insurance was clearly explained, then we chose our glasses and recently received them after about 10 business days. I was impressed how they treated me and my family. Both my boys have been coming here for at least the past 9 years, and the staff at Dr. Lee's office is always so nice and professional. Dr. Lee is very professional and knowledgeable as well. My son was trying on contact lenses for the first time, and the staff was really patient and friendly with helping my son get them on. The place is clean, and they seem to have a lot of updated equipment. Plus my insurance covered almost everything. Have been waiting for my sunglasses for over a month now. I am not suprised by the long wait or the lack of communication regarding the status as I have gone to them in the past. They gave me the wrong prescription one year and I got horrible migranes - had to go to a different location to get re-checked. The only reason I went this year is they accept my insurance but if you are looking for good glasses go to walmart even if they do not accept your insurance they will get you a good deal and get your glasses quick. read more

I definitely would NEVER refer even my worst enemy to this place! The front office personnel including office manager have zero people skills, very rude & totally unprofessional behavior. I called at 10am to get my contract lens prescription picked up & the gal said she would call me back. Well at 4:59pm the office manager calls & leaves a msg for me to call her back. I immediately call her within 30 seconds of her leaving msg (I was at work on another line & couldn't grab phone in time to answer) and lo & behold the answer machine came on & said their office is closed for the day. It was the most unprofessional, childish & inappropriate behavior for an office manager to pull. I wished I would have never stepped foot into this place. My review of this unprofessional business office will not stop here. I will be contacting insurance companies, the media, friends & relatives to get the word out on this unprofessional behavior of this office. It's not just this one phone call, it's been my entire experience with this office from day 1. There is not enough space here to share the horrible experiences I've encountered with this office. Rating of one star is being generous. This place is a minus 10 in my opinion. read more
