They served the car in front of us and we pulled up to order and we're waiting for them to come back to the window, just to see that they had put a Post-it note saying "be back in 30 minutes" even though we were already in line and there wasn't anybody behind us . And another time at another location, we pulled up to order and they said "sorry were closing right now, and I said can you make an exception, we're from out of town, theres nothing else around close by , and they said no sorry were closing. Once in awhile I come during the week. The girls that work then are super sweet and friendly. Went up Saturday morning Feb 21st around 9:30am. We waited a half hour for our pretty simple order. There was a lady working with a beanie on her head and black and white pajama pants on. Very rude! She was rude to the other associates and too us. We got our order after 25 mins of waiting and it was unfortunately wrong. We had to go back into the drive thru to ask for some cream for my drink that was forgotten. She acted like we were putting her out. She Starting singing loudly in a sarcastic voice. We weren't rude to her at ordering or when we went back to ask for some cream. If customers are getting on her nerves for wanting and paying for what they ordered she needs to not be in this field of work. She clearly had an issue with helping people even her co-workers. Weekend crew very rude vs. weekday crew. It wasn't a pleasant experience for a cup of coffee on a beautiful Saturday morning. I found an old gift card and stopped by to check the balance and was told that it had $25 on the card. A week later, I ordered one regular coffee and was told that I had $8 left after the purchase. Delicious, Frappes blended, with whipping cream (of course, if I am going to consume all that sugar in a frozen creation I might as well get the whipping cream, as well!) First of all, this Dayo is so slow. Like unbelievably slow. After one customer, they take like a 5 minute break, then go to the window and take your order(there's 2 of them in there). Second of all, they change their prices depending on their mood that day. On their board it's 5.75, she charged me 6.20. So their prices go up weekly. Lastly, when you give them cash, they do not give you your coins back. My charge was 12.39 i paid with a 20, and they kept my 61 cents and gave me my 7 dollars. They don't ask if I want the coins or if I want to donate, they just keep them. I don't know if this is a new thing or they are just so entitled they get to keep basically a whole dollar. I come here because it's convenient, it's different, but the service is just so terrible. I hope they read this and see what needs to be changed. read more

Overall good experience on my first visit to Day-O. Friendly service, good attitude, cheerful responses to questions. Two things kept this from being a 5-star review: 1/It took slightly longer than expected to get the order, but not so much to be a problem. 2/They have no protein powder. I would never ever come back to this location. I ordered a decaf iced vanilla latte. The red head handed me a hot latte. I said im sorry i ordered and iced latte. The red head said no problem. When she came back to the window she handed me an iced beverage. All she did was poor the hot latte over ice. So now I have a watered down iced latte that taste horrible. I managed a coffee shop for 4 years so I know what the drinks should taste and look like. I would have never done this, the customer is always right, and just remake the drink. Absolutely the best coffee! My boyfriend and I go down to Lodi once or twice a month and never forget to stop at Day-O to grab a coffee. My favorite is the founders favorite (on the sweeter side) and my boyfriends favorite is the BTO (also sweet with coconut). We've tried a couple others and never had one we didn't enjoy. This place used to be good. But lately my orders have not been made correctly. Multiple times now when I've asked for toasted bagel with cream cheese, the bagel is barely toasted at all. Pretty much just warmed up. There is very little cream cheese on it. And one time the bagel wasn't even toasted at all. Today I ordered a vanilla latte and it was not made correctly, it tastes watered down and there's definitely no vanilla in it. My bagel today was sub par as well. I ask her for my debit card back and she explained that she accidentally GAVE IT TO THE OTHER CAR AT THE OPPOSITE WINDOW!!!! not only did she give them my card but she charged me for their drinks!!! She apologized and explained that it was only her 2nd day and she was left there all alone. LOVE this little coffee joint. Reminds me a little bit of what they have in Lodi called Java Stop which is usually my go to coffee spot because I'm originally from Lodi. Now living in lockeford, I still take my service there but after going here a few times and enjoying it each time, I think I might save a little gas a start making this my go to coffee spot. Their service is GREAT. Their prices are average. Not to pricey. 32 oz cold brew is $3.95 and a 32 oz Red Bull is 7.65 I believe. As I only go for coffee and stuff to wake me up, those are the only prices I know but I'm assuming everything else on the menu is around the same price. Today I wasn't so sure on what to get. I wanted a red bull but they have so many infused red bull drinks, they all sounded good. The lady who helped me even told me there was a whole secret menu of the infused Red Bull's so I went ahead and took a look at that. I ended up with Sierra sunrise red bull! It's infused with lemon, raspberry, strawberry and the tropical Red Bull. VERY GOOD. definitely will be coming back. read more

On the long drive to south lake tahoe through windy roads, Day-o expresso popped up on my yelp feed. 3 more hours to drive? Ofcourse coffee is needed! It's actually extremely tiny little shop in the middle of a parking lot. Just a booth inside, and the ability to do a drive through. Got a mocha latte, the hubby got a coffee and a mango smoothie which was delicious. Now its not a crazy hipster coffee joint for authentic coffee lovers (we asked the barista what kind of beans they use, and she just showed us a giant black unmarked bag) but it's decent for a quick pick me up on the way. read more

I love this place! It's only a couple miles from my house so I like to take a little detour now and then out to Lockeford before heading to Lodi for work. Their coffees are pretty good. Just enough flavor, but not overwhelmingly sweet. Their scones, Lord help me lol. Their breakfast sandwiches are pretty awesome too. You can tell they're fresh and not pulled out of some packaging and thrown into an oven. If you're driving down 88, make a stop. It's worth it. read more

First time here, I was a regular of Scooters - apparently Day-O and Scooters were originally owned by the same people and then split off later. Still love the white mocha and service is great. There is a frequent buyer card that works the same as the Scooters card. If you buy 10 drinks, your 11th is free OR if you put $20 on your card, you get a free drink. They store your frequent buyer info in their computer as well, so if you forget your card - they can still look you up. Love it, cheaper than Starbucks, they use real eggs and meat in their breakfast sandwiches, and they have healthy whole grain breakfast options and oatmeal.
