I can't believe this place doesn't have any reviews! But I must say, I do feel honored to be the first. Daysdreams is on Haight between Clayton and Ashbury and is right at the 43 bus stop. I bought my first pipe here, my first bubbler, and got both of my friends to buy their pipes here as well. Out of all the head shops on Haight, this is by far, my favorite. When you walk in, the lights are bright, they don't have marijuana pictures plastered all over the wall... and even have sodas and random household items for sale. My point is, you don't feel like a pot head when you come in here. On top of that, who I assume is the owner, is always behind the counter and is really, really, really knowledgeable. Hell, he even helped me find a pipe that was the right distance from my nose so I don't burn it when I'm smoking. And of course, every time I've bought anything from there, he always gives me something free. Free zig-zags, a disposable pipe, and electric lighter, and a few other random assortments of things that help enhance your smoking experience. Hell, he's even told me when cute guys are checking me out. He may never remember your face, but he really is good at what he does and genuinely enjoys helping you and talking to you. This store is not very large, but they offer quite a bit of variety in their smokeware and accessories. Many of the display cases on the floor display are jam packed with pipes of all sizes and shapes, while other cases are home to many different styles of water pipes. The walls are used for additional glassware and accessory display, and everything seems to be reasonably priced in comparison with surrounding shops. They also have one of the largest rolling paper racks that I have seen in all of SF, they stock every brand from Zig-Zag to Randy's to Juicy Jay's. read more

The guy who sold me this bong ensured me it was thickest glass and I wouldn't have any problems with this bong. Literally two days later I set it down outside in the same box he had given me after purchasing and it brakes ... today is the 4th day and I'm planning to go back and he better give me a new bong I don't really care for a refund I just want a goddam bong . a sick one like the one I came for. This place runs a dishonest business. I purchased a scale for $35 after being verbally ensured that I would be able to return the scale if my partner didn't like it. The next day I walked in and tried to return it, and the employee acted like he didn't remember saying that to me. Any store that has a "No return" policy is asking for suspicion isn't it? It's like saying, "Yeah, we know some of our products are dodgy but...sorry!". So when I picked up a Pax 2 from this guy and had a celebratory drink in The Gold Cane next door, my heart sank to read that he has (allegedly) dealt in counterfeit stuff in the past. Also, the amount of fake Pax vapes out there is mind-blowing so I just assumed I had a knock-off before I even opened the box. Wait though, hang on...this thing is legit! It works great and I've done enough research to know that is the case. $150 is how much they cost and that's how much I paid. Harvest on Geary is my new doctor but $50 over the asking price guys?
