We decided to have breakfast here because it was connected to the hotel where we were staying and we were disappointed to learn the hotel did not have a breakfast. The hotel gave us some vouchers towards food here as a courtesy. Our server was so nice and attentive but we both suffered some gastrointestinal distress after eating here. Something did not seem right with the food and it had a synthetic taste. I had an omelette and a biscuit and my love had the pancakes. I would definitely not recommend; try something else. The service was good but I have not been going there as often. My last time was with a friend. The waitress knew I wanted half my sandwich for dinner that night because I asked for a to go box right away. When we left I forgot the box. We were gone maybe a half an hour. She threw the leftovers away. I understand that not all boxes being left can be saved for a long period. It would be nice to at least give people a chance. This was a wasted $10. Things have really gone downhill. Hard to know where to start. Several drinks that were ordered never came. One in our party noted that she had a dairy intolerance and ordered salmon with fries. She got salmon with broccoli. Two of us ordered salads with our meals. They came 10min AFTER we were DONE with our main course; the salad for the person with an allergy was full of cheese; the other salad had so much dressing that that salad (which was mostly iceberg lettuce) was hard to see. Drinks were forgotten and those that were brought were never refilled. The Mozzarella sticks were dried out and overcooked; several had no more cheese in them. My friend had an omelette which had the ingredients as toppings instead of incorporated into the omelet. She did like her breakfast potatoes. We both had English muffins - both of which were under toasted on one half and rock hard for the other. My overeasy eggs were well done. Worst of all the hash browns were basically raw potato sticks. I went in for a Uber eats order and was discriminated by one of the managers. She accused me of trying to steal food, due to the fact that I am an older teenager and was wearing sweat pants and a hoodie. I left my phone in the car because it was almost dead and I needed directions to the address. I have troubles walking so when she rudely asked me to go retrieve it I tried explaining why I struggle to do that she gave me attitude and mocked me. She claimed to call the police on me and acted as they didn't answer her phone call. I have been there multiple times for their pretty delicious food as it reminds me of my late grandmothers. I have always enjoyed breakfast at Perkins but came for dinner. The inside is booths and tables with ample seating. The service was phenomenal. If you are having a crappy day, come here. The ladies here will talk to you and make sure you had an enjoyable meal. We got two orders of the prime rib specials. Available on Friday through Sundays. It was delicious. Came in for a late dinner and the food did not disappoint! We had ate breakfast at Cracker Barrel earlier in the day and Perkins was better in my opinion! Great portion size, and friendly service. Hubby got the Tripple decker club. He liked it but felt there was a lot of dry bread which is why I knocked a star off. Adequate. They were closing early the night I went and from the poor service and how they dragged I could tell they all needed sleep. My Dad and I had breakfast and it was small eggs, hash browns fried in coconut oil and below average pancakes. The best spot was the hot cocoa with the whip cream and sprinkles. I went to go into Perkins last night at 10 minutes to 9:00 they closed at 9:00 so I no they don't take anyone after 9:00 but I had 10 minutes and it's part of the holiday inn that I was staying at, they seen me get out of my truck and headed for the door a young girl ran over and locked the door so much for good customer service at this Perkins at least by the night crew I did come in and had breakfast in the morning only because the holiday Inn gave me a coupon for 20% off for staying with them! read more

She gave us free desserts for our wait then went to the manager and he took off 50 percent of our check for all the waiting and no service that we had received. My croissant French toast was cold, there were no strawberries on my son's strawberry waffle. My husband's side fruit cup was forgotten. We brought a group of 16 into Perkins after 4 on 10/1/21. Right when we walked in and asked for seating the manager who was on duty had a real ugly attitude. She acted as if we were inconveniencing her. The restaurant wasn't busy and it should of been no problem. Anyway. Our server was very good and patient with our students. When I took care of our bill, the manager was at the till but she was barking around at the wait staff. Anyways, manager was not very friendly but she must be miserable. Still Love you Perkins. After being unable to locate the place we were looking for, we accidentally found Perkins, and I'm glad we did! Perfect comfort food for two hungry people. I even violated my own rule and had breakfast for dinner! The build a breakfast was great. Fluffy pancakes, well done eggs, yummy bacon, and nice hash browns. My girlfriend was also pleased with her meal. There was a bit of a wait, but we got very different meals, and I think they actually cook their food. They don't just reheat it. I'm willing to wait for that. There was a weird glitch that came up, but it wasn't super harsh. It was enough for me to point out to them, but not make a big fuss about. Their response was VERY good and more than I expected. They really do want you to enjoy your meal completely. Give them a try, and I don't think you'll be disappointed. They might be just a bit slower than some places, but my meal was worth the wait. read more

Service could be slow at times, but was convenient enough to walk to. Depending on what time of day you came, you would either run into the basketball crowd or the older folks. Great artwork on the wall. My dad would always get some sort of omelet and I leaned towards the fried chicken biscuit breakfast (plenty enough for leftovers but the cheese could've been a little more melty) and the big country smasher (eggs, country gravy, cheese, sausage on a bed of hashbrowns- perfect for when you see a cute boy across the way and accidentally fling a tater tot in his direction). A big bowl of chicken soup is great for days when you're feeling under the weather. Great selection of "mammoth muffins" and pies. Horrible. How can a cook let rock hard Belgian waffles leave their kitchen. Biscuits were also rock hard.

2 stars only because restaurant looked clean and well lit upon entering. The meals were presented slopped on the plates with zero presentation. It began with a green "salad" which was brown and occasionally actually slimy old lettuce concealed under a handful of cheese and croutons (at least the croutons were crisp), itcertainly would not pass a health inspection. This was followed by congealed gravy dripping off instant potatoes onto the table, "green beans" that appeared to be mush with a bunch of bacon thrown in, perhaps as a last ditch effort to make them palatable? Any cook who would allow such sorry looking food out of their kitchen is suspect, as is any waitress who would serve it and then ask if everything was alright. The pie, which Perkins used to be known for, arrived in pieces, carelessly slopped on plates, and was not fresh. In retrospect, we should have sent it all back, but we're just not those people. But save yourself $40 and go somewhere else. It was truly and sadly that bad. Topping it off my husband went to wash his hands only to find an overflowed toilet with water running out of the men's restroom, which the wait staff was just walking through... just the final straw in the yuck experience. read more
