There is vending machines located next to the hotel entrance as well as an elevator! The front desk is pleasant and courteous! On the second floor there is a guest laundry and ice machine. The rooms are recently remodeled and come equipped with a flat screen TV, coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, telephone, alarm clock, sofa, full length mirror, washing sink and complimentary toiletries! Unable to do zero stars. Like previous comments said if you are trying to rest this is not the place, walls are very thin and you can hear absolutely everything. The workers started dragging the cleaning cart around 9 am without any concerns for the guest and the cleaning lady picked up a call on speaker phone being really loud right outside my door. Do Not Stay at This Location No Matter How Cheap It May Be. -Killed a fruit fly on my arm. -No hand soap in 2021. -Desk, bathroom, bathtub, coffee machine are all dirty. -Chair and desk is a huge mismatch in terms of height. -Bathtub is small and has a huge black mark on it. Bathroom is small with -door to only separate the bathtub and toilet. -Doesn't have the right coffee pod for the machine. -Coffee machine is broken -Internet has no password (security issue and dc here and there.) -Couch is dirty. -Bathtub leaks even when curtain is fully closed. I have been to other Days inn before but, this place is definitely one of the worse. Other days inn or hotels really would require me to look around really carefully to see any dirt. The moment I went in my room I knew right away. Their front lobby was probably a good indicator too considering how dirty it was. Do not consider this place unless they re-innovate. The exterior is plain but welcoming as typical of a small chain motel. It is literally steps from the renovated Alhambra Main Street line with eateries, creameries, bars and shops. The motel serves continental breakfast starting at 6 am. (Toast, cereal etc) I had to be in the area for the weekend so my wife made the reservation for me based on ratings and location. The 2 stars are for the location, the exterior, and the refrigerator. The first day that I arrived and saw construction happening on the property should have been an indicator to move along. Early morning construction noise, saws and hammers, were a daily alarm clock. The room consisted of a single bed, a couch, a working desk, dresser, flat screen tv, and a nice size refrigerator. The bathroom smelled a bit and there was exposed drywall on the bottom half of the bathroom. My first call to the front desk came 30 minutes into my stay when I decided to change the channel on the TV. The desk attendant went on to tell me all the steps I could take to make it work (check the side buttons, look, for the main feed, etc) Having exhausted all his commands I asked if he could maybe send a new remote? The problem was the sensor had fallen from the wall, and he stuck it back in place. The sensor fell again a few minutes later. I just placed it on the dresser and would proceed to wave and angle my arm to hit the magic spot to make it work. The second call was at 3:30 am when there was a party next door to me that had spilled onto the hallway and in front of my door. The party moved into the room. But no sleep to be had. The room walls are on the thin side, so you hear anyone moving in the hallway, next door, and across the alley where there is a restaurant and a bar. The room is non-smoking but the sheets smell of cigarettes. Plus there are a lot of couples that seem to check in without luggage? Frankly, after this stay, I believe I would have been no worse off if I stayed in my car. read more

This hotel has the basics, and not much beyond that. Breakfast is pretty minimal. In the fridge there's juice, milk, and yogurt. Along the counter is cereal, porridge, fruit (usually bananas and apples), bread+toaster, and a hot water kettle by the skin on the right. The breakfas counter is in the small lobby with a 2 seater couch, 2 small tables, and the front desk. The rooms face the back alley of rows of restaurants. There's sometimes an unplesant distinct smell that wafts right to the front doors. The room itself had a broken lamp when we first arrived. The bathroom had lots of cracks and some bugs. The bathtub leaked anytime someone took a shower and the floor would get soaked. Housekeeping was friendly but there was only so much they could do. Though the front desk employees were rude. Parking fills up especially on the weekends. Just go to the front desk and they'll give you a pass for street parking that is good for one night. Spots can be pretty far away. The upside is the price and location. It is close to a main road with lots of restaurants, shops, and even a movie theater. I typically like Day's Inns, but this one fell a little short of the usual standards. The room was nice, and the decor is pretty modern. My room had one of those fancy new showers (I literally have no clue what to call it) that has four different types of spigots? I also have no clue what to do with several of them; like what do you do with the one that squirts a fairly weak stream out at mid-chest (of a 6'0" male)? Also, there was no soap holder or ledge, so I just sorta left the soap bar and shampoo bottles on the seat? Felt a little weird. I noticed some other people had problems with the remote having problems hitting the sensor - I also had those problems. It's a good thing I don't change the channels much. The other thing that I'll really emphasize, as many other people have, is that **THE PARKING IS TERRIBLE.** Limited parking within, maybe 15 or so spots? If you plan on staying out past 10 and it's basically any day of the week other than Tuesday or Wednesday, you're probably gonna end up on the street. That in and of itself isn't the worse thing; the hotel will give you a free ticket that allows you to park on the street overnight (have to move your car before 10 AM if you park away from the main strip or 8 AM if you park next to the main strip). The area is not bad either (I say this having grown up in the area); at worst, it's just desolate at night. But you aren't going to be mugged in downtown Alhambra, for sure. That being said, you might have to park two or three blocks north, which maybe is a little irritating. At least the weather is usually nice... A few other points: -If you like scenic views, well this is not the one. The building is constructed such that you're basically guaranteed to be overlooking the parking lot if you can actually see beyond the hallway. -The location is stellar if you like Asian (primarily Chinese, Korean, and Japanese) cuisine. Great for a motel 20 yards from Alhambra's Main Street and a block down from the police station. It's literally the safest motel you can stay at in west San Gabriel Valley. All other alternatives in town are by loud commuter streets or freeways, by the outskirts of town, or overpriced. The staff is friendly here, particularly PK who usually mans the front desk. The Wi-Fi is password protected, there's covered and uncovered parking (more on that later), and a simple breakfast bag (banana, yogurt, muffin, coffee, apple juice). ROOM Our room was very clean even by hotel standards and had a fridge, ac, microwave, tv with full cable package, and a DVD player with hdmi cable. For those with kids, you can unplug this hdmi cable and plug in a game system. BUILDING Yes, as others have mentioned, it does face an alley but it's not frequented by pedestrians, transients, or cars. Most people just walk Main Street so the alley is usually employees taking a break from their shift. Some reviews mentioned a club, which used to be Azul, but rest assured it's been permanently closed for a few years now. It was quiet for us. The staff are very accommodating and their office is directly pointed at the parking lot along with cameras covering the corners. PARKING Alright, the big issue people point out is the lack of ample parking. It's an old building and not a fault of the Days Inn. There are 30 rooms and 15 parking spaces not including 2 handicap spots. Sadly if this place is at full capacity, there would still be only enough parking for half of the rooms. I doubt it's always at full capacity. Depending on what night you stay, check in with the staff about capacity as you may be able to park a second car without issue (we did). Don't just park your second or third cars in the lot, that would be a disservice to everyone else staying there. If you have to park on the street, they will give you an overnight pass. Here's the quick detailed breakdown of restrictions, assuming you got the overnight pass from them, the street parking on the same side of 1st st as Days Inn has street sweeping in the early morning every Tuesday (12am-6am) but otherwise it has no time restrictions any other day or time. For street parking on the opposite side of 1st st from the Days Inn, again assuming you have the overnight pass from them, there is street sweeping on Wednesdays early morning (12am-6am) and sadly this side does have a 2-hour max parking restriction between 8am-5pm. To be honest, they don't enforce this restriction because people living in the neighborhood would be up in arms. So, yes, parking is not as simple as it should be but it's exponentially better than parking in LA city proper. My family had to stay here for a few days, and we had a blast because it's near a ton of great restaurants and bars whose happy hours usually start 4 pm and run to close. There's a brewery tap room, Ohana, and a regency movie theater with discount tickets on Tuesdays and Sundays nearby. I am comparing this Days Inn to motel standards, and not to exorbitantly priced hotels. read more

The view was an alley and the parking lot--not the most scenic. However, worst part of all I had the pleasure of waking up to a bunch of bug bites on my body! I'm not sure if they were bed bugs, but the bites sure did look like it. In my sleep I received seven bites on my thigh, two on my shoulder, and one on my face. My mother, who shared the bed with me, also woke up with four bites. Overall, not a good experience and I would advise against visiting this location. read more

Had a pleasant stay here. Stayed in the king room with jacuzzi. The room was fairly large. The king bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever stayed in! The jacuzzi was decent size only complaint is the jets on one side weren't working well. The staff were friendly and helpful. There are stairs on each side and one elevator next to the office, which if you are staying on the other side of the building it can be tough with taking bags to your room. The breakfast was decent, nothing impressive. Yogurt, cereal, toast, oatmeal, milk, orange juice and coffee. The parking is probably the only downfall, there isn't many places to park and if you don't find parking inside the lot you nees to find it outside which is difficult since it is so close to downtown. On the plus side the hotel provides you with a parking permit to park overnight on the street. One thing I loved about this hotel was how close it was to downtown. So many restaurants, bars, stores, even a movie theater within walking distance! Came in handy if you find parking and don't want to lose your space at the hotel :) read more

I'd give this place 0 stars if I could. This review is overdue, but now that I have time to write a review for this place, let's get started... Rooms were okay. Weren't bad, but the service was horrible. First night me and my family checked in, we were greeted by an Indian guy. The parking lot here was full and we asked where we can park. He told us we can park across the street and that Days Inn will pay for it. Ok, we go across the street and there wasn't anyone there in that parking lot. No one to pay. Confused, we went back to Days Inn and told the guy there isn't any people there to pay. We asked him, "Will we get a ticket if we park there?" His english was obviously limited and he replied, "Yeah, park there. We'll pay" To which we replied, "Will we get a ticket?" "Yes, park there." We parked there for an hour and we had to go Walgreens to buy some aspirin and came back and found parking. I'm not tripping about his English being limited, but here's the reason why I hate this place. When you check into any hotel that you booked for, let's say.. you booked 2 rooms. Shouldn't the desk clerk know and tell you, "Your rooms are 1 and 2. Here are keys to BOTH of your rooms" ? I came here with my parents and two brothers. That's 5 people total, and my aunt booked 2 rooms for us. Cause we obviously need it. He gave us one key to one room. I had to squish on a bed with my parents.. for 3 nights. It was hell.. When we checked out, the price was very high and we wondered why. That's when they decided to tell us that we booked two rooms and they're charging us for it. WHAT THE FFFFFFFFFFF... We calmly explained to them that we were not informed of our 2 rooms. He only gave us one room anyways. And we asked for a refund since we did not stay in this extra room, the Indian lady who claimed she was the manager said, "That is unacceptable. It is not our fault" Another random Indian guy who worked there claimed he was there and that he was the one who issued us keys to BOTH rooms. UHHH, okay Indian guy. Why did your English suddenly get better today? Obviously it wasn't you who issued us the keys. HOOOOOOOOOOEKAY BITCH. As normal Vietnamese families, we went crazy on their asses. After arguing, she still refused to give us back our money. Nothing we can do, so we just gave up the argument and left. A cockroach was running along the ground in front of our room and one sitting on the door molding of the door before we could even get to our room! To make matters worse, when we went to the front desk to ask for the manager, the person working the front desk refused to give us the name of the manager nor would he help us contact him. After several attempts of trying to contact the manager, I was forced to contact the site where the reservation was made and it was only then that I was able to get a full refund. We usually stay at Best Western off of the 60, but decided to try a different location this time around. We normally like to stay close to where all the centrally located food restaurants we like to hit up when we are in LA which usually are off of the I10 and Valley Blvd. This place is in a good location. Not far from the I10 and it's located right off Main St between Garfield and Atlantic, in an area with plenty of restaurants and bars to walk out to. Which was awesome. There were a lot of restaurants with 3.5 - 4 stars from Yelp reviews and others all around ranging from Sushi, Korean BBQ, 85 Bakery and plenty more to walk out to. Starbucks is literally right outside the hotel, just use the Starbucks app and pickup within 5mins. The rooms were ok 2 queens beds, desk, small lazy boy chair, fridge and microwave. It's a little tight fit for everything but we did like that it had all the amenities available right in the room. The only thing I would say is if your a light sleeper you may not enjoy the every little noise you hear from outside. The early delivery trucks for the restaurants right next to this hotel, the customers that roll their luggage by or the loud talking in the parking area. The parking area was well lighted and the area has 1 way in/out at night because they close out the back gate at night. The parking is limited I can probably count 18 spaces looking around with 1 of those being the handicap parking space. We stayed on the weekdays so it wasn't too bad but I heard it gets pretty full on the weekends so I wouldn't even know where you will park if you lose your spot. Overall we wouldn't mind staying here again. read more

Sadly,this place has degenerated in the last five years of staying here,and I think our last visit is just that,our last. I paid less the night before,for a different hotel in Alhambra that was way nicer and better kept. We payed almost double this night for an atrocity of a room.Would have stayed at the other place,but they were sold out. Within 2 seconds of turning the shower on, the tub was backed up. Normally it takes a minute or so, but this was instant.Within a few minutes, I was taking a shower in 6 inches of backed up water. This place has serious drainage issues, both in the sink and in the tub. Showering and shaving becomes irritating. The AC in the room we had was malfunctioning and would not stay on,even though I turned it all the way down to the lowest setting possible. It was LA in the summertime and the room was warm, so it was off and on cool and hot throughout the night. Luckily, we found a cheaper,nicer,better kept hotel not too far from here. After being a loyalist for 5 years, I can honestly say that the price is just not worth it here anymore. read more

So...I didn't know Alhambra has some "tough" areas but I got lucky to be at Days Inn and near Shakas for dinner. I thought the room was nice and comfy. The TV was HUGE and granted there was no MTV so I missed ABDC, there was still a wide range of channels available. The gentlemen who run the front desk were very nice and called the taxi company three times for me to assure I'd get to Keck on time. The room was clean, and my only complaint was that there was some loud party going on outside or downstairs from 11 pm - 2 am, which woke me up a few times. It also took me a while to sign onto the WiFi service, but once I got on it was a good connection. I only stayed for a night, but I'm not sure I'd stay there again if I were on a longer trip given its location in the city and parking situation. read more

I have to say that this is the first time I've been let down by Yelp reviews. It's my own fault, though--two reviews isn't really enough to go on, right? Anyway, I really don't recommend staying here. It's not especially dirty, unsafe, or horrible; it's just not very good, and I'm sure you can do better for the same price. GOOD POINTS + Coffeemaker, minifridge, and microwave in-room, plus a huge LG flatscreen TV, a DVD/VCR player, a desk with a chair, a couch, and a coffee table. The rooms are actually pretty well laid out and functional. + Parking area with lots of flowers (slightly mitigating the view from the rooms, which is of the trash-filled alley behind some bars.) BAD POINTS - Nothing to watch on those huge TVs: there's only 11 channels (one of which is Mandarin-only). - HORRIBLE wifi service. First, you have to go get a ticket from the front desk with a randomly generated username and password for EACH user. Paranoid much? I'd rather click "yes" on a disclaimer page than go through this nonsense. Once we got our tickets, it took forever to get online, and then we had to move over near the window, even though our room was only halfway back. I couldn't check e-mail from bed, and people further away from the main office might not be able to get online at all. - Narrow entryway to parking lot seems bound to cause an accident. - The one elevator is down a dark hallway, which would have felt pretty sketchy to me if I'd been traveling alone. The elevator was fairly dirty inside. - As far as I can tell, all of the guest rooms are upstairs. I didn't see any first-floor rooms. - Fairly weak continental breakfast: prepackaged muffins, quartered; mini Sara Lee-type bagels; coffee; cereal (milk and juice are in a mini-fridge below the counter that didn't see till later). But at least there was fresh fruit (nectarines and bananas). - Light sleepers beware: there's a fair amount of noise here. I could hear people moving around upstairs, people walking by outside, the nightclubs across the alley, and the air conditioner spazzing out. It had only two settings: run constantly on its highest, frigid setting, or loudly flip on and off every couple of seconds, which kept waking me up. The night after this we stayed in a Quality Inn in San Diego. For about the same price, it was a million times better. I'll be coming back to Pasadena in spring of 2009 for a conference and definitely won't be staying at this Days Inn; nor would I recommend it to anyone else. I can't afford the conference hotels, but maybe I can get into the Saga Motor Hotel before it's booked up. read more

This place is not as bad as the reviews say. I think it's in great location and close to a lot of great food spots. The best amenities that made the room so great to stay in was the microwave and fridge (I've paid for more expensive rooms without those). I would have given five stars, but the toilet did have some minor issues and the bathroom door didn't close all the way (both not huge deal breakers). For the $67/night I paid for, this is definitely one of the better rooms I've stayed at for that price. If you just need a simple place to stay, this would be more than enough. read more

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! Under any circumstances, Do Not stay at this location. I booked the room online, when I arrived, they couldn't find my reservation.... so unlucky for me, they gave me a room that was so stank stale, the room was disgusting. The bedspread had a stain on it, there was a long black hair between the blanket and the sheets. The microwave was so filthy, the entire thing was coated in some kind of yellow film with additional hair as a bonus. The small coffee maker had a coffee pod where the water is added, no tea for me thank you. The towels were stained and threadbare ... the shower, oh where to begin.... calcium and hard water spots make the shower head spray weak.... the bench in the shower looked safe too put my shampoo down on until upon further inspection, the mold in the corners was black! The front desk refused to address any of these issues and a refund of 15% was their final offer. This location doesn't even rate a star but you can't post a review without a star.... read more

Stayed here for almost a week for my first visit to the Los Angeles area. The room was neat and clean and they had provided excellent room cleaning service every day which I did not expect to happen. WiFi was consistently strong at this hotel. Furthermore, the proximity of this hotel is near restaurants,bars/clubs, and even pharmacies within walking distance which is awesome if you wanted something more low key and cozy nearby. Although I did not have my own car when I travelled in LA, parking space is limited at this hotel, when my friends in LA would pick me up in their own cars. read more

If you are staying in Alhambra for a visit, I would def. recommend getting a room here. I stayed here once on a Saturday nite with my fiance. Decent room for a decent price (king-size non-smoking for $70-80 on a Saturday nite). Owner was friendly. Location is convenient because all the bars and restaurants are nearby, walking distance. When I left my sunglasses behind, the owner was very nice about holding onto them for me after the maid found it in our room. I was realy happy to get my glasses back. When we came by a second time months later, the owner remembered my boyfriend and me! He said to me,"Oh, yes, you left your glasses here once, right?" He's very personable and friendly. One drawback: Parking can be a pain. Not very many spaces in the lot, so first come first serve otherwise you can park on the street. read more

For a Days Inn this place is pretty nice. I've been here twice now and have had a pretty good experience both times. Big screen television, free wifi access, microwave, dvd player, and all the other basic ammenitites you can expect from a small hotel. The service over the phone is crap ... but when you arrive, you get an entirely different feel from the staff there. Or at least I haven't had any major issues face to face as of yet. This last time I was there the guy at the desk told me the price I was being quoted was only temporary until it was determined whether or not I was going to have a huge party and bring back multiple guests in the middle of the night ... He was serious as a heart attack. I didn't know whether to flip him off or laugh but I chose the latter as it was my birthday and didn't want to stir up any unnecessary trouble. Other than that he was pleasant. The location is amazing ... PERFECT if you love the Boiling Crab as much as I do lol. I don't really bar hop or club but from what I understand it's an amazing location for those types of activities as well. My only major gripe is the parking situation. If you leave the parking area past 5pm there will be NO parking when you return and you will be forced to park on the streets ... sometimes you get lucky and find a close spot, other times you're screwed and end up walking a mile back to your hotel from your car. They do willingly give out parking permits if you do end up having to park on the street though which is a nice gesture I suppose. read more

Pros: I've stayed at this hotel several times because it is such a great location. The price is right and it is within walking distance of so many bars, clubs and restaurants. You can go out, drink and not worry about driving. The room is clean, good sized, has a fridge and micro, couch and free wi fi. The staff is very friendly and nice. Cons: limited parking. If you drive and come back to the hotel late at night, you might not get a parking spot. You have to park across the street and move it by 8:00 a.m. No night street parking unless you buy a permit from the city police. Also - try to get a 3rd floor room because you hear everything in the room above you. It can get noisy from the people partying in the bars across the alley. read more

I stayed at this inn with my family for 5 nights 6 days, and i believe it was around $80ish a day. It was pretty cool motel. Theres a Starbucks at the corner and theres alot of resturants and stores. The room was pretty nice. My mom told me this motel was recently remodeled or something I dont know. I think this motel was pretty cool, though there arent many channels on the tv -_-. I would give it 5 stars but i jsut dont believe its a 5 star motel. There was one night where extremly loud musics were coming from the night club directly diagonal from the motel. I belive it was not just one night, it was a few nights from what I heard from my dad. Also there was one or two nights where there was no hot water. no hot water! we had to take cold water showers or either we dont take a shower at all. I am a regular at these wonderful place. What makes it wonderful is a very helpful, courteous manager & his wife, location and cozy rooms. I have always stayed there in a week day. The manager TJ is always willing to help with a warm smile. & so is his wife. Whether its a direction to places or supply or a random request. The ever smiling and helpful couple runs a motel with care for their customers. The very recent experience was weird though. The weekend manager did not come to check us in, eventhough I could see that he saw us. After repeatedly yelling hello, hello he came after 10-12 minutes. Unlike TJ & his wife this one was old, irritated, mean and very very rude. Anyone could see that he was tired & not happy! With a mean tone he checked us in- when I asked why he made us wait he offered to cancel my reservation if I do not wish to stay! After repeatedly asking he was even not willing to let us know his name! Later in a day my wife asked his name & informed that its DAVE. People like this ruins the name of whole organisation. Just because I had a experience of this place for several weeks I know that this is not how they treat their customers. Anyone who is visiting this place first time on weekend is sure never to return to this place.... If I could give NO stars I would. We stayed here to be near by our family while we visited. The surroundings are good, but this hotel service is loot. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. We booked two rooms. One for my parents and one for my husband and 2 year old toddler. We got king size because he sleeps with us anyway. Well... Since we arrived, front desk was not accommodating and pretty rude. Then we couldn't check in until later- so we went to our families home. We got back later at night and found out our toilet wasn't flushing great. Then I called to request an extra blanket and they denied it because there was no housekeeping available. I've stayed at various small hotels and this has never been denied. Then, this morning, I called and informed them about the toilet issue. Front desk person said his "technician" would arrive at 9am and come take care of it. We waited for awhile and instead we get a visit from the housekeeper and we tell her. All she does is go mess with the handle and walked out. We then use the bathroom and yes we did both 1 & 2. We flush and it all comes out pouring. We tried to stop it several times but the water kept gushing out. I called front desk and I said, "because you didn't send anyone up now you have poop and pee all over" he said, "didn't the housekeeper fix it?". No!!! I at this point now demanded a new room. He switched us to another room and called me and said, "why didn't you say you have more people (talking about my son)?" "You could have been liable". This pissed me off, is he seriously trying to blame his faulty toilet on a two year old? I said that to him and he responded "no ma'am just next time tell us you have more people". I blank out told him there would be no next time due to my bad experience" and he said, "well tell us you have more people." I work for a HUGE sports league and part of my job is to book for all our employees travels, and I've never experienced this level of customer service. read more

Worst experience I have had a hotel ever,if I can give negative stars I would. They charge me a certain amount when I went to the hotel and stayed and three days later they charged me double the price of what I charged originally. I would recommend this to anyone if you can please stay somewhere else because this place sucks read more

It's a great place to stay when your in a budget rooms a very clean parking is safe and the room over all it's great in space beds a very comfortable shower and toilet are very clean and it's walking distance to Main Street to enjoy Alhambra's night life it's a small hidden gem I definetly recommend it! read more

Disgusting! The countertops in the lobby are sticky. We booked through Priceline but even though we paid ahead they wouldn't honor our booking and tried to make us pay more for a different room. We were in their lobby for over an hour. Finally Priceline agreed to refund us but wouldn't help us get another room. read more

I have stayed in many hotels and I must say this place is one of the best 'cheap' hotels I've been to. The bed was huge, the room was clean, there was really good water pressure in the shower, free WiFi, and it is right next to a lot of yummy restaurants. Will come back. read more

Very happy with this place. Went here after a wedding and was content. Great rate for what you get. It's not the most fancy but had what I need. Flat screen, fridge microwave coffee maker. Would stay here again in a sec. Don't park on the street overnight or you'll get a $50 ticket. There are no signs saying it either. read more

We booked a room based on location. It's a very walkable, convenient locale. However, the stay left much to be desired. Foremost, the room was filthy. Corners in the bathroom and under the vanity look like they haven't been touched in years, There were spills in the refrigerator. The tiles in the bathroom were cracked and loose. Vending machines were out of order (I wanted a bottle of water...I was told to walk to a grocery store several blocks away, at about 11 at night). Towels were thin and threadbare. "Breakfast" consisted of three varieties of sliced bread and two cold cereals. Fortunately, there's a Starbucks 2 doors down and a few great bakeries and cafes nearby to try. Someone needs to give this hotel some TLC -- it has great potential. read more

The cleaning crew are inconsiderate of others trying to sleep in the morning. There was a lady cleaning a room next to mines and she was talking with another lady loudly. The walls are so thin, I couldn't go back to sleep. The cleaning lady was literally my alarm clock. The room had a stale stench to it. I sprayed some perfume and cracked my door for a while. While I was using the bathroom, I noticed there was some kind of leak within the walls because they were stained and cracked. I also noticed staples in the walls which was suppose to hold it together. I was better off sleeping in my car. I guess when you settle for less that's EXACTLY what you get. read more

There should be a huge minus star available to rate this dump. I was told there was only an "executive" room available on last Monday night. It had a Jacuzzi, which I had no desire to use, but there was NO CLOSET, NO ClOTHES RACK and NO HANGER. BLACK MOLD was growing around the tub (I have pictures I wish I could post here). Due to circumstances, I had to stay there two nights. My complaints to several managers were met with bald-faced ridiculous and conflicting stories. I brought one in to see the mold and told him that was a health hazard. He just stone-faced me. This is the worst hotel experience I have ever had. read more
