One star is too much but I can't choose anything lower. The room was not clean, the deadbolt was broken, and there was no soap, a broken toilet, and a chirping smoke detector. The breakfast had no milk, juice, water, eggs, or meat, just a few yogurts, apples, plain bread, and dry cereal. I asked for a refund and was refused. The management blamed other guests for the breakfast problems and ignored the safety and sanitation issues I reported. The brand's customer service offered only a small amount of reward points instead of taking real responsibility. Don't stay here. read more

We spent only one night here... there were many people standing around outside of the hotel. Inside our room was a bed that had an obvious dip In the middle. The room did not smell clean, and did not have the "feel" of a clean hotel. The breakfast buffet was in a tiny room, where we all had to move around each other to get to the food, toaster, and waffle iron. I did not feel safe, and was glad to leave the next morning. Decent looking room, but looks can be deceiving, bed was comfortable. Definitely not worth the $90. Six of the seven outlets in the room didn't work. The light fixtures on either side of the bed didn't work. They had a room in front that said breakfast room but it was closed. If I had to do it again, I would stay next door at the quality inn. Absolutely the worst place to stay. It was the only hotel that was pet friendly and that had a room open last night that we could find. It was so gross. I slept in my car outside of the room because I was over it. The ac didn't work, there were bugs crawling out of the wall, just everything was dirty. read more

Worst hotel. Listing problems in no particular order. Bathtub dirty and rusted around the drain. We did not use it. At room tiles on floor and wall in disrepair. No coffee pot in the coffee maker. Water in the sink only trickled out. Fire al was right outside our room. It went off and no one knew how to turn it off. No wash cloth. Pillars outside our door were rusted and cracked. This place is not a hotel it is a motel at best. I would recommend you avoid staying here are all costs. The place is run down and the service is terrible. They took all our towels and did not replace them, waited 20 minutes to get replacements. They do not answer the desk phone you have to go down and wait in line to speak to someone about any issues. Then in the middle of my daughters shower the water cut off. After a few minutes, it returned as a trickle and was ice cold. Just enough for her to try and rinse her hair in the ice-cold. Toilet clogged, hair was on the bathroom sink when we first arrived. And the manager said the best they could offer me is $20 off. And stated the water happens when too many people are showering at the same time. This was at 10:30 pm at night, really. Horrible stay, the staff could care less. read more

This is one of the worst things I've ever seen in a hotel !!! Once entering all you smell is mold ! I admittedly turned on my flashlight to look for it 2 seconds later spotted it on the bed skirt of bed !! I mean that has had to had been there for years to look like that !! I went to front desk to get a refund only to find out there charged my card twice !!! Unreal experience!!! Totally ruined our great road trip ! Please don't visit there !! This place was available late at night at a reasonable rate. However the nonsmoking room smelled of stale smoke in the bedsheets, the covers had multiple burn holes, and the pull out soda had a metal rod sticking out of the bottom. The clerk was nice Some jerk called me at 230 am, and i couldnt fall back to sleep. That really ticked me off. Was it a mistake?? Whats the sense in paying $70.00 for a hotel and i cant sleep. Travelling from florida to nj. So i decide to read my facebook and i discover i cant hook up to wifi. The connection was poor. Really? Your hotel advertises free wifi. It is 5:00 am and we are leaving here. I will be contacting the company. My husband is trying to shave and cant get hot water. Terrible. Dont waste your money, please. Also there were no tissues in tissue holder and no iron in it ron holder. I spoke to mrs patel the owner of days inn. She is checking my complaints and said she will be calling me back. We stayed for one night on our way to Florida. Woman at the front desk was super nice! The beds were comfortable and clean. The room was equipped with everything we needed. However, the floors were disgusting, and I'm not very picky. My socks (which I would not take off) were sticking to the floor. I'm wondering if they ever got cleaned. My husband wiped up some water that was on the bathroom floor from his shower, and the towel was sooooo dirty!! Also, there was urine around the base of the toilet (see picture). Not sure the last time it was cleaned. The hotel was almost empty, but they put someone in the room right next to us and they were partying (yelling, laughing, banging around) all night. The lady at the front desk said I should have called, but when I tried to call last night, nobody answered the phone. We definitely would not stay here again. read more

Totally gross! We called at 12.30 and the receptionist kindly held the room for us until we got there at 1am. Got to our room and it smelled of stale cigarettes, (this was a non smoking room). The bed sheets were clean but the blankets were questionable. Took a shower in the morning, but the shower curtain was covered in mildew as was the corner of the ceiling on the bathroom. For $77 I expected better. I do not recommend this motel to anyone. read more

Absolutely horrendous hotel. First I go in to check-in and there's a man sitting in the lobby with the lady at the counter which I assume was one of her little friends seeing as he was there all 7 times I had to go in. Then, after I tell the lady that I am here to check in and give her my name, proceeds to ask me if I can come back in 10-20 minutes... like what?? I didn't pay as much as I did for this mediocre hotel to be told to come back in 10-20 minutes. Anyways, I went back and waited the 20 minutes and came back and the lady at the counter was doing the same thing she was when I first came in-- NOTHING. This time she finally gives me a card to what was supposed to be a 1 King Bed hotel room. Unlock the door to the room and guess what!? Not what I asked for. At this point, I'm beyond irritated by the number of steps I've had to take to get a simple hotel room. I go back to the lobby area to be told that that was all the hotel had left and there was nothing she could do even though I had booked online for a King Bed room with zero problems. It would be one thing for her to tell me that they were all out of King Bed rooms and that all they had were 2 Queen Bed rooms but instead did everything in her power to do the least amount of work she possibly could. We stayed here on the way back home from Florida. We wanted to dodge the South of the Border eye sore so we stopped at the exit before to find a place to crash for the night. There are a few hotels off this exit. We called them all and they all are overpriced ($85+ for a room for two adults). Finally we called Days Inn for their prices and I was connected to a service center that wanted to play "let's make a deal". When I told the rep $85 was too much for us for one night, she rambled off all the discounts we could get through AAA and our auto insurance. After about 4 tries she got the price down to something I was more comfortable paying, $67 for a king non-smoking room. But her game wasn't over yet, I was then connected to another service center where they tried to sell me a monthly travelers package for $17 a month that will automatically renew until I cancel. I finally had to hang up on this woman after I told her no thanks several times. Finally we went to check in and the woman at the desk was rude. I wanted to confirm the rate and confirm I wouldn't be charged twice for the room since the woman on the phone also took my card information. This was an impossible task for her and she talked to us like we were stupid when I asked her to explain the price increase at the desk (she said it was all taxes). When we finally got to our room I was half afraid to stay there and I definitely wished we had opted for another hotel. The toilet was filthy, the shower curtain was ripped, the floor was so dirty my feet were black from walking on it, and the sheets had wear holes in them. The rooms are also so paper thin I heard everyone outside as if they were in our room! They couldn't even fold the towels to make them look nice, they were just hung on the rack. The decor was old and dated and the furniture doesn't match and was just thrown in the room. The bed was comfortable and we did get a good 7 hours of sleep, which is I guess what we paid for but I won't ever stay at a days inn again! read more

There was a very serious incident that occurred. Without giving details, I will say that the hotel staff and management handled it IMMEDIATELY. That showed me that they cared and represented the Wyndham brand very well. I gave a 3 rating because I feel the rooms could've smelled better. I saw the housekeepers preparing rooms but maybe better products could help or it could be the carpeting! If I ever visited the area again, I'd stay. read more

My husband had to travel from MD to Daytona Beach Fl for an emergency, we chose a midpoint hotel-Days Inn 823 Radford Blvd, Dillon SC. After driving through the snow storm he finally made it to the hotel. Once he got his first room, he discovered the room had no electricity. 2nd room had no heat and finally he gave up complaining once he got the 3rd room which had a huge hole in the wall, no trash can, no coffee pot or coffee and no shower curtain. The place was disgusting and appears to be very run down. We had reserved a room there for his return trip but immediately cancelled it. I would not recommend this place. When asked for a discount they refused and gave my husband. Number to call. It's a shame this place is allowed to fool potential customers with its advertising. read more

This place is a dump. The first room we were assigned smelled damp and musty, had mold in large areas in the bathroom and above the sink, the toilet was grossly stained, the carpet soiled... The second room also had a damp and musty odor, the a/c made so much noise we chose not to use it, WiFi came from the Quality Inn next door... Decent roadside stop. It is older and dingy, but clean, quiet and my wife and I both slept well. We stopped here because the parking lot was well lit and we had a packed car. The shower had good pressure, the hot water was scalding hot so if you have children be careful. Service was friendly and efficient. The ac was a little loud, but it worked well. read more

My day started in New York at 5 AM on 4/12/18. I was excited because I was taking my first solo road trip. Drove all the way to Dillon, South Carolina. Had already researched this location through Wyndham Rewards Club Program. This was my first mistake! I never read any reviews on yelp because as a Club Wyndham member I thought that I would be afforded only the best accommodations. I packed some snacks and drove all the way with only rest stop stops along the way. When I arrived I was exhausted. I had food that I had packed so I won't have to waste any time because I had to get back on the road in the morning. Thank God for my mother in law who had given me a soup the night before I started my road trip. This room was as Nina P. put it totally gross. The room smelled like damp rug and cigarettes. (non smoking room) ha! As I was putting my things in the room I noticed cigarette ashes right by the door. Maybe the house keeper smokes? I nelt down to put things in the small refrigerator which they turn off when when room is empty and my sweat pants knee was wet when I stood up. Now I know why it smells like damp rug. I could go on but don't want to sit here any longer typing because I'm starting to itch after looking at some of the other reviews. Wyndham Rewards should be ashamed of themselves for even having this place on their list of hotels. I will be calling them when I arrive to my destination!
