Never been here before came in a pinch-my regular girl was on vacay. I picked a nail tech on-line blindly thinking all are fine. I spent $65 got gel and regular pedi. The nail tech really has little to no experience. The gel started lifting 3 days later. The way I saw her working, I had a feeling that she really did not know. Like she was in school learning. My pedicure polish was too thick and the edges are not painted. I really don't get it I had to go back and fix the ones that were lifting. Who has time for that???? I will leave the technician's name out. I don't wanna mess her up. Would never ever go here again after spending all that money that was a joke. Owner needs to get some trained people. I arrived to Dazzling on Memorial Day weekend for an early appointment and from the moment I walked in, I was welcomed into a very clean professional and friendly atmosphere. My nail tech was Denyie , she was really sweet and provided excellent service. The front desk brought me hot green tea which was super thoughtful. The pricing was $50 for a regular mani-pedi (I think it's normally $40 but they charged me to remove the gel I had in previously). There is street parking available and the garage has 3 spots assigned to the salon. The techs all speak Spanish and they provide all sorts of nail services. I went to this nail salon for the first time today, and I will advise you, GO ELSEWHERE! I went in for a pedicure and REFILL (No GEL Polish) and was charged $90! Not a full set with gel polish, a REFILL! This was the biggest rip off in my life. I'm so sorry I cheated on Galaxy Nails on 152.... I'll never do that again, nor will I ever return. The nail techs are so meticulous and ensure that my nails are done to my satisfaction, which I greatly appreciate, even when I ask them to file a bit more, etc. Although I would like to stick with one nail tech, I can confidently say each person who has done my nails here has been great! She also seemed annoyed most of the time and therefore didn't do a great job on my feet, they weren't any softer than when I walked in. At the last minute, I stopped by Dazzling Nail Lounge to see if they'd be able to do a mani/pedi on me. This salon opened not too long ago and it is located in my neighborhood. It was a weekday before lunch and I was so happy that they were able to accommodate me. I did a Dazzling Day Manicure and Pedicure. Raisy took care of me and I couldn't be happier. I decided to go to this salon because I saw how beautiful my friend's nails were and asked her where she had them done. She said Dazzling Nails. So I called; yes, I made my appointment the old school way, spoke to an actual person. She was very courteous and helpful. She fit me in the same day. They do offer appointments online as well. The parking was a little tricky but found out that they have a couple of spots in the building and street parking. The street parking is free and runs along the building. I parked on the street. My nail technician was Rocio. She was amazing. Her attention to detail was refreshing. She was sweet and wasn't in a rush to finish like other salons. I had an idea of the color I wanted, and she picked out the perfect neutral shade I will use every time I want subtle color on my nails. She made sure that my nails looked great. I will definitely go back to see her and refer her to my friends and family! As stated in a previous review, they do not have massage chairs, but I do not particularly like them, so it wasn't a big deal for me. The staff was courteous and professional, spoke English and Spanish, and offered refreshments during my service. They offer acrylic, dip, build-up, gel, and regular manicures. Was talked about in Spanish thinking I couldn't understand. And was told they could provide a service that they clearly weren't capable of doing and complained while attempting to do it. I went here with my daughter on Saturday. We each needed fills on our acrylics and she needed 1 new nail entirely. The nails were average. Nothing fantastic and not terrible. However, when I went to pay it was $103!!! For 2 fills and 1 new nail!!! I've been getting my nails done for 30 years and have NEVER paid that for fills or anywhere near that. And the kicker was the next day she hit her nail- nothing drastic just a small hit - and the entire nail came off. Steer clear! Further we didn't get pedicures but the chairs are the same chairs you sit in for your nails (no massage chair) and they're uncomfortable! They also offer mimosas but they taste like tang! read more

I've been here twice- both times there was no parking which was fine, you can park about 2 blocks away. When you get there the nail techs are all sitting outside smoking cigarettes...it's not a good look or a warm welcome. The first time I got a mani an pedi from Thalia. Thalia was super sweet and talented. She did my nails perfect and they lasted over 3 weeks! The second time I came I wasn't offered anything to drink and the nail tech painted my nails for a French mani (the neutral/pink color only) she then got up and walked away without saying anything and another nail tech sat down to finish/do the white tips for the French. She did it free hand very wobbly and only did the tip top so that you could see my natural white nail under. Obviously that doesn't look nice and the owner came over and let her know what I wanted- which was not two sets of tips on my nails. The white tips she was doing was very wonky-like an octogon. I let her know and she claimed she didn't see anything wrong. She redid it so that the nail got very thick and then ignored all the white marks that were on the edges of my nails. I had to point that out too and at this point SHE was the annoyed one somehow. She got up walked away and the owner took over. The owner was very nice and redid my manicure and even gave me half off which I didn't ask for. I was there for 2 hours which was frustrating but at least the owner tried to rectify it best she could. The reason for my review now is that my gel manicure lasted only 4 days! Wow. I wouldn't trust anyone there other than Thalia to do my nails, and I would definitely suggest to the owners that having their nail techs sit out front smoking cigarettes is NOT a good look. read more
