The worst bar service ever. I waited almost 15min for a red bull. Then went back to get WATER and missed TWO whole songs from the live band. Ended up leaving the line because Julie(the bar tender) decided she wanted to step away to talk to idk friends ? Whatever, worst experience ever in my existence of attending live shows at bars. The bar itself knew they were hosting a lineup of more than 3 bands...obviously there would be a surplus of people. So next time either train your bar staff to have a sense of urgency to their patrons or perhaps get 2 maybe even 3 semi capable servers, and not a bar back that does absolutely nothing. The only positive place was the semi decent women's bathroom. According to my partner the men's bathroom smelt like two years worth of piss all over, I actually smelt it when the door opened as I passed by the door. Disgusting. Also has a rating of B. It's a BAR. You should be able to maintain an A, you don't even mix cocktails. Just wow. Never coming here again. Ever. read more

Stumbled upon this chill spot on a Thursday night. They had a good selection of drinks and a good crowd. It looked like they were getting ready for a live performance but I didn't stick around long enough for that. The bartender/beer tender was helpful and friendly, there was ample seating at the bar, on a long couch and at tables. The ambiance was chill and had a lot of the more artsy types (lots of beanies) but this was much more my type of crowd over the other local P-town spots. On 2/10 around 12:30 ish a painting fell on me. I was sitting along the wall and it fell from the wall. The workers saw and heard but didn't attend me. I yelled because of the pain. The guard came to see what happened but just took the painting. No one asked if I was ok or offered me ice to put on my injury. I immediately felt my thigh swell up. I had an about 5 finger wide bruise from the painting and now have a permanent dent and bruise. So bad customer service. read more

My favorite little spot for a date night in the area. We came for the goth/new wave sort of night a while ago and we had so much fun. Can't wait to come back for their next night to dance and just chill. It's low key and the people there honestly don't seem to be judgey which is huge when you are sort of an awkward dancer lol They also have regular nights and the drink are at a good price. read more

All the craft beer selections are fucking awesome. They have a little of everything for everyone. Not sure if they have food but one thing for sure is that the parking sucks. There's a 2 hour limit and you'll be ticketed if you stay longer than that. Wish I could have tried more beers but didn't want a parking citation. 3/9/25 Dj on disco night played the same playlist over and over, not my ideal night out in Pomona. In hindsight I should have walked to another bar but stayed because I already bought my beer. This has always been a great place to meet up or come after work in Pomona. It's not pretentious or niche, you don't have to worry about stepping into a "locals only," type place, except for when there's live music (which generally is later in the evenings) you're not going to have tunes blaring so loudly that your filings fall out. Staff is friendly and they have a large assortment of really good beers, bottom line they're the only bar in the area that has managed to replicate CBGBs bathroom LOL! Great bar and a huge selection of beer, wine, & seltzer. It's clean and trendy. I tried a new idea on the menu - brewery x zombie x seltzer- it's 10% and so yummy it's dangerous! I love the live music there it's a great vibe and it's pretty spacious too. there's tv inside as well for the sports lovers. The only complaint and the reason why I gave them 3 stars - There was only one bartender serving the whole bar when I was there, it took us awhile to get a drink. I felt bad for her bc she's trying her best to help everyone but the manager & other staff members was just chill on the side not helping at all, there was no sense of care at all for their workers or customers. read more

One of my go to bars. Great place to get drinks and hangout. The bar tenders are always really helpful and nice. *** BUT I am hoping the manager reads this. I'm sure it wasn't on purpose so I wasn't too bothered by it. The bar tender was young and probably new. But she was charging anyone who was paying with cash a 50 cent service fee because each beer was under $10. But that service fee is supposed to be for card transactions under $10...I was confused at first so I didn't say anything. And on top of that she shorted me 50 cents in change but didn't say anything until I brought up my change being short a dollar. She said there's a 50 cent charge for anything under 10 bucks and she didn't have any change in the register to give me. I was just kind of confused at first, until I realized she was charging all cash transactions a 50 cent fee for every beer they bought. And just shorting them the 50 cents in their change. I guess needles to say the bar is making some good extra money when she bar tends lol. The bartender Margarita F (what I saw in the cashier screen) was completely rude. I've worked in high pace jobs and if you can't work under pressure then you got to either get better at it or look for something else. It was unfortunate that I mishandled my DL (I don't carry ID because well I use my DL for everything and it has the same info) and it fell to the back of the fridge cooler. I told her what happened because she didn't see it happen and right away says I have to come back tomorrow because there's nothing she can do about it. I don't khow true that was just like I don't know how true it is when she says she's the only person working tonight when there's like 7 bands playing live music. I was very familiar with this type of "not my job" behavior so I was patient as I could be but she kept saying the same thing over and over. I waited til last call to give her some breathing space as she wasn't serving no alcohol no more (she said 11pm was last call) and even then she said "dude I don't know what else you want me to tell you, that's not my fault and you just have to come back tomorrow to get your ID." Like I said it was a DRIVERS LICENSE and not to mention I drove to the bar and had a couple beers, one cannot simply say "okay let's be fine with this." It took me basically "being annoying" (what she stated) to her for 30min to get my Drivers License back with help of some dude that doesn't work there that got my drivers license. So unprofessional and more professionalism from the dude that don't work there. Hire that guy cause he maybe the only reason I ever come back! And if your reading this Margarita thanks for doing the right thing and finally budging to give me my DL back. I'm sure the bar floor wasn't that messy to get my DL since you were the only one working that night like you said because that's the only reason I personally thought why you wouldn't get it... read more

I tried to give this place a chance but ever since they got this new bartender, older women it has been horrible. She actually elbowed me as she walked by. Worst service I have ever experienced. I still cant beileve she did that. You would think someone with a kid would show more respect. Found out she is the manager. She actually charged me twice. And when I called about it they gave me the hardest time until I went in to show my statement. The bathroom is trash, it is never cleaned and always smells like sewer. Grew up in Pomona going to this bar and I still think it's one of the best in DTP. Bartenders are friendly, and the live music is always usually a free experience. Cops patrol heavy in that area so be careful. This is the perfect place to go to after dinner to grab a beer or a nice wine. read more

Honestly, I have to say this is a cool location with the way the interior is and the beer selection that they have is pretty extensive (although, I will say that 95% of the selection is canned beer - not a huge deal to me, but something to be aware of for some people?). The reason for the one star review is unfortunately because of the abysmal customer service of the 2nd female bartender on the night of 08/28 whose name I didn't get, but it wasn't Alex (happy birthday by the way Alex). Wall of text incoming, feel free to ignore it haha. I wish it were more comical, but this is just a detailed explanation mainly written with the hopes of management seeing this and hopefully addressing the issue. I was there supporting my friend who was playing that night, and as their set ended - I helped him move his equipment to his car so we could go back in to grab a drink together. By the time I got back inside and was standing at the bar - it was 1:15am and my other friends had grabbed drinks for themselves and my friend who just ended his set so I told them to go and I would follow behind. For the next 15 minutes, I stood at the bar as five people who showed up after me were served beers to the left of me and the person to the right of me was helped as it turns out his card had been charged to close out his tab and his credit card was given to another customer who had already left (oops?). Within a minute of the last two beers being poured for the people on my left, I was finally acknowledged and told by the female bartender (not Alex) that drinks were no longer being served. Full disclosure: after this, I just argued with her for a couple of minutes because of how crazy that sounded with what I had just seen and the way it all played out. I honestly don't know when you guys do last call, but I never heard it and like I said - I was at the bar top at 1:15am. I've never been to a bar that did last call 45 minutes early (it's noted that the place closed at 2am that night) so I just foolishly waited at the bar top thinking I would get a last drink before last call. I will be good faith in saying that maybe it was made during the time I was helping my friend move his equipment out to the car (maybe). However, with that being said - if you truly had done last call, that doesn't explain why I saw five beers poured for people who showed up at the bar top AFTER me over a 15 minute period. The bartender offered some stupid (I'd usually like to describe this more charitably, but it was just stupid) line of logic that she was no longer serving beers and was just closing out tabs. Still can't work my mind around that one, I just saw five beers poured in front of me for people that came after me. If I had just been acknowledged within a minute or two of waiting at the bar and told "Hey, I'm so sorry - we're no longer serving beers, I'm just finishing pouring drinks for the people that had tabs open that I told I would get them a last round." I would have said, "No problem, totally understand. Thank you for everything tonight." and been cool with everything. However, being ignored for 15 minutes as people directly to my left and my right were helped only to be told alcohol was no longer being served after I just saw two beers poured within a minute of being told that is just horrible customer service. I honestly could not care less about the beer, it was just the way it was handled. If it's relevant - wasn't drunk at all, had my first and only beer that night as my friend was getting on stage. Feel free to refer to your cameras to validate any and all of this. Hope you guys get this sorted out, seems like a nice place. I just won't be back. read more

The service there is terrible, the bartender (if you can even call her that) barely even greeted us when we walked in. We sat at the hightop tables and she never came to us. She just stood behind the bar talking to some guys sitting at the bar. After a bit, we realized she wasn't coming to tend to us we walked up to the bar asked about happy hour and then ordered two beers. Later throughout the night, a couple people are sitting at the hightop tables next to us, and she walks over to them and stands there talking to them. I was so shocked, like weren't we just sitting here for a bit and you ignored us ? Then we noticed that they were friends. Anyway, I never got her name, she is blondish like a dark blonde, short bangs and tattoos. P.s. even if the place doesn't serve at the hightop tables, it'd be nice to know that, especially if it's my first time there. Tight! An art gallery that's close-by, super chill, and sells cheap drinks. It serves everything BUT hard liquor (for a change)! Yup, even tighter! Really neat little place in downtown Pomona. Loud music on a Saturday with a very friendly staff. My boyfriend and I came in ordered the Riesling an Pomona queen; both were fantastic. The staff was super friendly although a little slow to notice us. Great vibe in the place everyone seemed to be having a great time. We ordered a bunch of tapas which where all great but the spicy mac and cheese was definately kraft mac and cheese with paprika sprinked on top. Also I wouldn't recommend the sliders-they were all cold cuts and the caprese and was the only thing worth eating. I did, however enjoy the cheese and greek platters :) read more

Trash ass bar with trash service. I immediately noticed something was not right with the bartender. Home girl serves me up a unfiltered sculpin and charged me $11 when it says $7 on the board.. ask her what's up and she just responds "let me see your card" when I ask how that happens she says "it just came up like that" BS! It gets pretty packed (lots of hipsters) and very loud, but it's still real chill to sit back and sip on wine. The bartenders are very attentive and the drinks are not overpriced. My husband and I have been going to DBA for years now. It's always a great place to stop in for a good selection of beers. Just recently discovered that they have "Wine down Wednesday!" Discount off glasses of wine and HALF OFF a bottle ! You can't beat that. The bartender was so amazing she made our date night super fun and special. Since we bought the bottle she provided us with one of the most delicious cheese plates to go with it (and I love cheese!) She even aerated each glass she poured for us. Came to this place last night for New Year's Eve; a friend's sister runs it. Very cool space, good wine, and awesome atmosphere. We came for a holiday party, so I can't vouch for it on an average day, but on New Year's they had a great dj spinnin some mellow but peppy tunes. It wasn't overly crowded, and people had a fun time. I know nothing about art, so I can't speak to that side of it, but some of the pieces in here are really cool. I wish we lived closer so I could easily go again. read more

Came on a Sunday night for some birthday drinks, there were a few other folks there winding down from the weekend. The bartender is really nice, there is ample seating for groups to catch up, and drinks are reasonably priced. I love the local artwork and definitely plan on coming back to buy some! On Sunday nights, they have Sunday Supper with Chef Herbert Ha from 7-10p. The menu is displayed on the chalkboard and they usually have two options to choose from--regular bar food is not available during this time. I had the 3 pork belly crostinis, which were each different and delicious! It was $12--not too bad for a gourmet snack and went great with some red wine.
