Stopped by for one drink before leaving the Lemon Festival festivities. We were able to walk right in and order before finding a seat. They did card us at the entrance and give us a wristband. I'm not sure if this is everyday, or just because of the festival. It is family friendly, there were kids of all ages, so the wristbands could just be an extra precaution. The menu is small but they had a bit of everything. You order when you walk in and then pick up your drinks at the counter. We went with a Patio Szzn and a Supplemental (both IPAs). They were both delicious, I found them to be on the lighter side for an IPA. Definitely refreshing though. There was indoor and outdoor seating. We managed to find a high table inside. Outside seemed busy. They also had a food vendor outside, which smelled amazing. I saw a few people with orders of tacos and they looked really good. The place also has a huge calendar with their events for the month. Seems like a cool place for a date night or night out with friends, maybe on trivia night. Pro-Five has been our go-to spot since they opened. The service is always great, and the atmosphere is exactly what you'd hope for in a local brewery, welcoming, relaxed, and full of character giving its in historical downtown Upland. As a seltzer girl, I absolutely LOVE the BlackLav, but Pro-Five recently added something new... a kitchen! They're now serving empanadas, and they are incredible in both flavor and quality. You can get three for $15 and choose from chicken, beef, or spinach. They come with chimichurri and garlic sauce, which take them to the next level. Do yourself a favor and don't skip these. Pro-Five is my go to brewery in Upland. Located in the downtown area, Pro-Five has a parking lot that's shared by a few other restaurants. If you can't find parking in the lot, there are parking spots around the block that you can easily utilize. Pro-Five has an interior seating area and an exterior seating area. If you ever want to make a reservation, they offer group and party reservations for a price. They are very flexible and have the capabilities to host many different events. I've been here for an engagement party and I've had my own birthday party here! There is usually a food vendor located in the exterior seating area. It's normally tacos and you can wait/eat anywhere since they give you a beeper to know when the food is ready. As for beers, I usually get my Hazy IPA called "Notice to Comply". It's delicious and always hits the spot. The beertenders here are always so sweet. They don't hesitate to support you. The restrooms are always clean. Again, my go to brewery! They usually have a schedule of what food business will be there that day! They have TVs inside and outside, so watching any game is a no brainer here. Came here to eat as the Chan Smokers were here with their wonderful Cambodian style foods. We had the smoked brisket nachos, 3 beef skewers, smoked brisket egg rolls, and banana pudding. We were able to watch the hockey playoffs and the LA Dodgers beat the Cubs in baseball. We also got to see Shoelaces Express in concert here! All service was great here! The food was terrible. The chicken wings we inedible. The pepperoni fold. I have had more flavor at a high school pizza. The tots were ok. Empanadas were the only thing I would say was good. Came for trivia night. I wouldn't serve the food from this kitchen to my dog. Ordered a triple play, wings were tiny barely warm - one of which was so dry and hard I thought I cracked a tooth, 100% serious. Tots were cold, period, cold af with cold, already stiff cheese sauce. Empanada was dry and again barely warm. For the price, quality, and beer, no reason to comeback. I've had better food from a little league snack shack. Came here to celebrate my good friend's graduation. We were handed end of the keg beer that tasted like complete yeast and crap. They tried to pass it off as "it's ok, it's the end of the keg" But it as a knowledge craft beer Connosouir and Knowledgeable about the craft beer industry it was not ok and seemed annoyed about returning the yeasty ass beer. I made a random stop here with a friend while we were strolling through downtown, and I'm really glad we did. The service was super friendly and knowledgeable, which I always appreciate. I'm more of a wine person, so I wasn't sure what to order, but the woman at the front offered me samples of a couple beers I was considering, which made it easy to choose. I ended up really enjoying the beer, big fan! They also had live music from a cover band playing a lot of alternative rock, which I loved. The one thing I noticed was that it is very beautiful and spacious here. If only the beers matched the environment. The beers aren't bad but lack luster. The O'Duley taste's more like a brown ale but still ok, the Love It IPA is sharp on the hops and the NTC is safe to say a "Standard" IPA. I do hope they push for at least a stout here or a Hazy. Service was very fast and efficient. And the good thing about is is that it has food vendors outside. For those that wanna see what's scheduled, you can check their calendar page. At the end of the day it's a safe brewery but nothing to keep you hooked. I will give this place another visit when they upgrade their beers. One thing is for sure. Great spot to meet up and hang out with families. Beers were great, the lemon pepper chicharrons they sale at the front are amazing and we all enjoyed the taco stand out back. The bartender was quick and kind. The kids were able to hangout together at their own table with the blue slushies they sale while the parents could enjoy some adult time. Okay, I don't even drink beer. My husband does, though. We have been there twice now. Both nights had really good bands. They have a huge patio area with heat lamps, which were much needed and appreciated last evening. They also have rotating food stands throughout the month. It's just a really fun environment! My husband loves the rice beer (as does everyone writing reviews, it seems) and I love the music and accompanying glass of water lol. 4 days ago I went here to spend some time with family and friends and we all had such a great time. I had been raving about pro5 to them for days because anytime I bring my wife and daughter they always take of us and make us feel like family. Not to mention how comforting it is to see them do that with everyone else, that makes it feel more genuine and family oriented. They were even super kind and helpful to a customer who was mouthy because of how upset he became. The customer even ordered another round after the fact of already complaining! The beer here is top notch. The staff here is great and always friendly. It's a very local neighborhood vibe you get here. Cool brewery with nice outdoor patio area! They have a live band that plays every weekend I think. We've been wanting to come by and check it out for some time now. They only serve beer and snacks, but they had a food truck when we went so were able to grab some food as well. I tried a couple of the beers but I really only liked the Yeah! Love it! I just found this place, and I can't wait to go back. The hazy IPA and the West Coast IPA's are top notch with excellent flavor and finish, highly drinkable. Alot to say about this establishment, but if you are quickly trying to decide, let me sum it up for you. -Quality beer -Family Friendly -Rotating food options -Consistent live music -Friendly staff - Welcoming environment ProFive is located just on the edge of downtown Upland. Parking is pretty easy to find (back lot and street parking). Once you are inside you are immediately greeted by one of the staff members. If it's your first time and you are unsure of what to order, ask for a sample or a recommendation. Everyone behind the counter is knowledgeable and friendly. There are multiple beer options, seltzers, and cocktail seltzers. Once you have your drink, grab a seat inside where the cold air conditioning is pumping, or take a walk outside to their patio where you have both covered and uncovered options. Outside you will find one of their rotating food vendors. Trust me, they have put a lot of care into picking their vendors, because I have never been disappointed. Options like BBQ, Pizza, Tacos, and much more. If none of this was enough to sell you, then my final point is supporting small business. The owners of Pro-Five are awesome. They actually care about the people that come in and out of their business. Even to the point that they go out of their way interact with familiar faces and ask them how they are. I once even witnessed somone bring in some home brew for them to try. Even though what looked like a busy day for them they still stopped to talk to them and chat. After 2+ years, finally decided to check this place out...took my 21 yr old son (who is home from college) out for a beer. And since it was a Monday, figured we could watch some of the game. Relatively quiet when we arrived. Crowd slowly started rolling in, which consisted mostly of young parents with kids in tow; toddlers & babies...I think they have a game night on Mondays (which I'm assuming begins once the Monday night football game ends) as we left at halftime. Nice patio. No doubt this place gets busy on a sunny weekend. Only thing that caught me off guard...the prices. Total for (4) 16 oz beers was $40.25 sans the tip. $10 for a beer seems a bit steep. There isn't a big selection of beers, but quality over quantity. The staff are all really nice and keep the place running smoothly. I have been wanting to come here since they opened, but just never had time. Since I was at the Irish Festival in Downtown Upland recently, we decided to come here for some beers and hang out. We ordered our drinks and paid and they were ready for us at the country right away. I got the Blacklav Limoncello hard seltzer which had a lavender taste and was really light and good. Definitely an on the porch kind of drink on a hot summer day. My husband also got me a slushy drink. I don't remember which one it was, but it was blue. It tasted good, but a bit too sweet for me. We ended up sitting inside because the outside was totally packed. There was plenty of seating, but with a band about to play it filled up quickly, so definitely come early. I'm glad we were able to get seating inside at least because it was empty inside and then within 20 minutes it filled up and there was a line out the door wrapped around the building. I do like the drinks here and the atmosphere. Staff was friendly and I also like that they have a calendar with different events; trivia nights, bands etc. The bathrooms were also clean and spacious. Great new brewery here in Upland, with great beers, service, and ambiance. You can either start a tab at the front or sit yourself down over in the picnic table area and scan the QR code and the ladies at the front will bring your beer over to you. I went to the front, and the ladies were very welcoming and the place was very clean. The selection of beers is quite minimal at the moment, but overall the IPAs were very good. I do wish they had some food options or snacks to eat with the beer aside from the vending machines beside the restrooms, but overall I would definitely come here again for drinks. All the beers ranged from $7-8, parking is free, they are open until 11 Pm, and patio area was overall quiet. read more

My wife and I went here today to try something new. We ordered a flight, red, hazy, german, and a seltzer. Every beer was great. The german was a light october fest. The red was very good and sort of malty. My wife liked the seltzer black lemonciello. The hazy was a double hazy vog. We decoded on the seltzer and the red to get a real pint size. The food vender was a taco place. They had the freshest fish tacos and they were delicious. We left to go walk the town. It was Sunday so not that much was open. We ended up at Pro Five and had more beer and tacos, and a quesadilla. This was a fun day and we will be back! read more
