I am extremely happy with the service provided by DC air. Our A/C went out late at night during the week of 107 degree temps in Dallas. I am 22 weeks pregnant and work from home. I reached out to these guys and got an immediate response at 10pm! Someone was able to come out to take a look at our unit the very next day. We had several factors against us at this point. We needed a new compressor, but since we live in a 4 unit town home with a backyard facing the road and no back exit, a crane was needed to be brought in. The team came out and suggested alternatives to go through our neighbors yard, undo the fence, remove the unit and replace it. This saved us hundreds! Thank you, DC Air!! My HVAC system was over 25 years old, so I knew I would have to get new AC unit and heater replaced soon. Well, that soon was NOW. I'm 38 weeks pregnant, and I had no working AC in this warmer Texas weather. I communicated with Michael, who was very honest and friendly. Overall, DC Air offered the lowest price with perks and had the best financing plan that worked with my needs. They gave us options of brands/prices instead of trying to sell us the most expensive product. On the day of installation, there were 3 workers that came out earlier than the appointment time (but they started working on the unit outside so I got to chill), and they even helped with opening my vents and shared knowledge about the house that could affect my AC and temperature. They brought everything up to code and did a clean job (as seen in the pictures). They also let me borrow a portable AC unit until the day of installation. TL;DR: These are the best HVAC guys period. Price, value, work done, etc. No one else came even close. Needlessly long, unnecessary backstory: Our AC has always sucked and never been able to keep up with these Texas summers, particularly in my media room. We pretty much just dealt with it, until we also started having problems with our furnace. We recently noticed our pilot light would go out a odd intervals, and would need to be manually lit each time. Upon inspection, the part required was no longer made since the unit was so old (more than 30+ years). We call out a few people for quotes (always do this) and discover our problem was worse than we thought. The attic was actually filling with gas while the pilot light was out and creating a huge potential problem. Not only were they able to make it out and inspect our attic right away, they were upfront about what we did need, and what we didn't, and what they felt was the best value for the size of our home, whether we needed a dual stage unit, or single, etc. They also made sure we knew about deals going on, and current rebates available. After comparing quotes, and figuring out the bottom line involved, I'll repeat, no other quote was even close, especially for the little extras we needed (like running another vent to my media room, which gets really warm in the summer). After deciding to go with a new furnace and AC unit, they scheduled the install the next day, had the furnace and AC installed in less than a day, and had everything working without any hiccups. All-in-all, I don't think there's anyone better in the business. When you're spending thousands, you kind of expect a higher tier of service by default, and they still delivered beyond my expectations. I'll recommend them to everyone I can. read more

No high pressure sales tactics, no trying to upsell, just good honest truth. They were very knowledgeable and understood the problem quickly and their prices are the best in the metroplex. Much better than the competition. They were courteous as well, laying down covers on the hard wood and carpet before they started the AC work as to not dirty the house up. We had a great experience with DC air conditioning coming out to replace our unit. I always call 2-3 people before committing to work for something as important as AC in the Texas summer. I called 2 companies and they both gave quotes that were pretty close. And I almost didn't call DC air but decided it couldn't hurt. They had a great price for a better AC unit. So it was a no brainer after a good recommendation from a coworker. They came to my house at 8 and were done within a few hours. Their professionalism was amazing and I would highly recommend them. They put some thick sheets down on our hard wood floors to make sure they did not get them dirty or damaged which I was very happy with. The main reason I loved Darren with DC air so much was he was not trying to up sale me a unit I didn't need he gave his recommendation and price for it and he also gave me the price if I wanted to upgrade to a better unit. Contacted DC Air Condition late on a Friday to see if they could repair/check on our Air Conditioner, Darren said that he was booked all Saturday but if he had time in between he would stop by to check on our unit. He called me back in the evening on Saturday and said he would stop by, I was relieved hoping the repair was minimal. He checked our unit and said that we needed Freon and refilled it for us, he also checked our air filters and replace those as well and stated that we should check on it every 3 months to see if replacements are needed.
