I saw they had appointments available on the website the next day, so I stopped by first thing the next morning, which was a Sunday (thank you for being open on Sunday!!). I overheard the person behind the counter telling someone on the phone that they were overbooked and had limited staff available that day, so I figured they wouldn't be able to check out my car. However, once I talked to them, I was told that they could look at it if I was able to drop it off and pick it up later in the day, before 5pm. That was fine with me, so I left the car with them. I got a call less than an hour later where they told me that my rims were bent, so a balance would not fix the vibration. They didn't charge me anything to look at the car and give me a diagnosis, and that diagnosis allowed me to be able to move forward with addressing the situation. I appreciate them taking the time to look at my car so quickly, which allowed me to arrange to install my spare set of rims before my track day at Watkins Glen the following day even though I was several states away from home. I've heard good things about Firestone Auto Care from friends of mine in other states, and it appears their good customer service is consistent across their locations.

I googled tire shops by the hotel we were staying - luckily Horsehead is a pretty convenient town in terms of shops and stores. Mavis popped up and I spoke with a guy named Jon. Right away I could tell he's more on the thoughtful side. He told me not to drive on a flat tire because it would ruin the rim and tire. I told him I was able to inflate the tire back and it seems to be holding for now. He said to bring it in and they would check the tire for me. I explained it seemed to me like air was leaking out of the valve stem. Once there the tech put it on the lift and sprayed the tire down and checked for nails and leaks. Around the valve stem was fine but apparently the stem itself was loose. He used a tool to tighten it and voila... My problem was solved. Great attitude and helped me out big time and they didn't even charge me for their service!

Stupid me for thinking a dealership like this was upstanding. After taking the vehicle to them to fix they informed me they would only fix 2 of the 3 problems. I then contacted the salesman to ask what was going on. His answer is below in the attached picture. After receiving that i updated my review on Google and contacted the better Business Bureau because I felt this was outrageous. Shortly after doing this I received a call from the general manager Geoff crossley. I was shocked to hear him extremely mad because of my honest review. He was so irate I was unable to explain why I was unhappy and why I wrote the review. He continued yelling over the phone and told me he is now refusing to fix anything on my car due to the review! This in itself is a violation of the new york state lemon law. He refused to fix safety issues on a car they sold to me 3 weeks prior!! While I was in the dealership during the purchase I was hearing concerning things from employees like ' we don't get paid for the sale if we don't receive a good Google and Facebook review '. I was also surprised when the sales manager was talking amongst the salesman about how much I've overpaid for the car. Not realizing I was the one that bought it standing right in front of them! I am now stuck having to pay to fix the issues with the car I bought out of pocket. NEVER COME HERE. NOT FOR SERVICE AND CERTAINLY NOT TO PURCHASE A VEHICLE.
