Jesse was referred to us by a friend and we are VERY satisfied with the work he did. We had a bad puddle/flooding/drainage problem on our frontyard. Drainage was horrible and the tree we bought a while back has suffered and we thought it wont make it. But because he assessed the situation, he was able to recommend to dig a french drain to take care of the problem. It has solved the problem in the frontyard AND the backyard. It was a very reasonable price since we've had several bids that was way more describing the work as "alot and redoing" our whole front yard! I received several estimates from local landscapers to complete my large backyard project but Jesse's knowledge and experience was what I was looking for in a contractor. Once the project began I know I hired the right company. I had a plan and Jesse put my plan into action. Once the job began his employees were on the job every day. Jesse would be on site in the morning to give his crew work direction and would return each day to ensure the work was completed. Sergio and Arturo were the two workers who were on the job most of the time and were helpful in making sure what I wanted was done. The concrete patio slab, pathway and block work turned out real nice. This work was completed last December and within the expected time frame. Jesse returned in April this year to finish the project by planting dozens of plants in the front and backyard. Jesse's knowledge of plants is quite extensive and he knew the type of drought tolerant and low water plants I wanted out front and in the back. His crew installed water drip lines to all of the plants. Jesse has a pleasant personality and is easy to work with. He kept me informed each day of the work his guys will do. He would offer his opinion on something I wanted and explain the reason for his suggestion. His suggestions were often pretty good. Planting a job of this size is complex and will experience change orders. Additional work was recorded on a separate invoice to accurately record what was done to eliminate confusion. He billed for the work that was agreed upon and completed. You will not find a better company to work with on your projects than Jesse and Green Pride Landscaping. I discovered drainage issues in my yard after Tropical Storm Hilary struck in August. I contacted 4 different landscape companies but, after several weeks of waiting, no one got back to me. He responding to my request within the hour and set up an appointment to assess the issue and provide an estimate to Hydro blast my drain lines. During the cleaning process significant root incursion was discovered in one of the lines. This required a lot of extra work, including the removal and replacement of sections of pipe to get the lines flowing normally again. Jesse updated me frequently as the work proceeded. Received a phone call about confirming my appointment the day before. I called to confirm the appointment with them but no one picked up. I left a voicemail with the company 3 times with the final one being a cancellation of the meeting due to them not being responsive. They have 2 numbers and both of them say that they will be closed for Father's Day. It is currently August. The only response the owner can give me on them not getting back to me is that he is busy working out on the field. We had the work done in our backyard. Our concrete was cracked and very uneven from a previous large tree. They took out all the concrete and replaced it with stamped concrete which looks great! We also had the sprinklers fixed and the grass in our backyard replaced with sod which was a huge job because there were so many roots to clear.
