Honestly I've gotten tattoos from so many different places and across the country but Jason definitely has a different hand. Even though I get work done all the time, I honestly hate the feeling. But Jason has a light touch. I've already gotten two piece from him and I've been surprised by how I've been able to stay calm though it all. Not only the light hand but he's hella fast! Living in SF, I never considered that I might go to Daly City for piercing services, but boy am I glad we found this gem on a friend's recommendation! I took my daughter to get her ears pierced at DC Tattoo this evening and I was thoroughly impressed by every aspect of the experience. The shop was clean and comfortable and staff was friendly and welcoming. Geige (I apologize if my spelling is incorrect) helped us from start to finish and he was very organized and patient. He was extremely informative and thoroughly explained the piercing process and aftercare instructions. The (included) saline and aftercare email was very thoughtful and much appreciated, as well. We felt at ease, informed, and supported throughout the entire process. Geige was kind, professional, efficient, informative, and skilled. He gave us a lot of info before, during, and after so it made the entire process comfortable and relaxed. The vibe was ok. This is definitely a very professional shop with reminders and decent scheduling standards. The owner seemed to have a ton of experience and was on the pricier side as a result. It really came down to the attitude he had. He's definitely an older dude stuck in his ways and always right and doesn't listen to customers needs or direction. I can handle personality clashes when somebody has skills but the last straw was the actual result. He did the outline and fill ok but it doesn't go up to the outline. There's a skin break where it should be filled around a lot of the outline. This is a total amateur move and the reason for this moderately bad review. When you charge $250/hr you better have the basic skills to back it up. I know there's free touchups but that doesn't excuse the lack of skill. Also the guys hand was heavy as hell and gave me a small blowout so I really just don't want to let him do anymore damage. read more

I've never had a worse piercing experience. I came in a few weeks ago. Completely unprofessional and unhelpful, I didn't feel comfortable nor safe the entire time. The man preforming the piercing (his name is fleeing my memory right now) had made snarky comments about my appearance when I had requested a nose piercing. I didn't feel comfortable stopping the experience, so I went through with the piercing, but he had made it crooked and I had to take it out soon after.
