Shrimp basket

I don't use the term often but I would definitely call this a hidden gem. Tucked off in the Northeast Park area of the city in an unassuming shopping strip lies a a really great place to get good wings and maybe even better fried fish. Everything here is cooked to order so if you're in a hurry don't go. This is a good old mom and pop type play so don't expect five-star service. Just expect great food!

This is a great place to try! The owner was nice and friendly, the young man at the register was very pleasant as well. It's a nice atmosphere inside with limited sitting space. The food was really good too! I loved that my wing combo came with a free slice of cake. So many flavors to choose from and so many desserts to try as well! I can't wait to go back and try some of the cakes. Decent price. The wings were okay, mine could've been fried longer so next time I'll definitely ask for that! Give this local BOB a try!

This is the best place by far to get my wings and catfish... the staff is friendly, the food is AMAZING and the ambiance is wonderful! You've got to try it!

Garlic Parmesean with fries and a slice of cake.

My son and I are from Houston and stopped for wings after a museum visit. He had BBQ wings and I had garlic parmesean. Best wings ever. And that slice of cake was delicious. Too bad we don't have a DC in Houston.

Jamaican Jerk and Honey Hot wings

I wanted to try this place when I first landed but they close at 7 but I was able to stop by before leaving and glad I did. I got the Jamaican Jerk and Honey Hot wings as well as catfish. The food, flavors, service, and ambiance was good. If I'm ever back in OKC this is the first place I'm going to!

Located on mlk across from Remington casino you'll find DC Wings and cakes. Everything is cooked to order hot & fresh. I am a die hard flat wing lover ;however I prefer DC Wings and cakes drumette wings over flats. I chose lemon pepper which is a dry rub. The Jamaican jerk seems to be mixed with bbq sauce with mild heat it was a good flavor. Only con is the seasoning seems to be tossed after it is cooked. The chicken it self seems to not be seasoned. I get it to not over season. You may need to ask for extra lemon pepper seasoning. I squeezed my lemon garnish on top of the lemon pepper wings. The basket of fries come in a cute container. The catfish is real catfish. I really really appreciate this! I will be back for the 2 piece whole catfish filets, fries. Also I will try the baked beans and Coleslaw on my next visit. The mini bundt cakes come up to $10 after tax. I didn't get a full cake because it was refrigerated. However because I ate there I received a In house complimentary cake slice. It was just the right amount of sweetness that I needed.

I feel like I can barely drink half a glass of something before someone is coming to refill it. We love their pub shrimp appetizers! My fav menu items are the steak Cobb and republic burger. They do different specials as well so there's always new things to try. Always a great spot to grab dinner or happy hour. They have a patio as well with TVs.

They seemed to love them, but it's not hard to mess up a plate of batter fried food. The chicken lollipops maybe could've been really good, but I'm not a honey BBQ fan. Even just a plain buffalo option or something more unique like a sweet gochujang. Really wish there were just any other flavor options than BBQ. But I did like the pairing with the pickled onions and pickle slices. The ribeye sandwich was the biggest let down though. The meat was thin and dry. I was expecting a grilled ribeye, just sliced for a sandwich. But it was more like Philly cheesesteak type of meat. The mayo was heavy handed. It needed something to brighten up the flavors a little, like maybe more horseradish and a drizzle of balsamic reduction? It was good in concept, lacking in execution. Service was fine. Bradford was attentive and took good care of us. And my husband was a big fan of the multiple sports ball options on all of the TVs.

Okay, I finally tried Cheever's after seeing it recommended so many times, and honestly... I get…read morethe hype. I went with a friend for lunch, and the whole place had such a cute, cozy vibe. It feels a little upscale but not in a way that makes you feel underdressed if you show up in jeans. The staff was super sweet, and our server made great recommendations. I ordered the chicken fried steak, and it was SO good. The portion was huge, and the gravy was chef's kiss. Also, can we talk about the bread for a second? Because I would genuinely go back just for that. I kept telling myself "one more piece" and then suddenly half the basket was gone. The only reason it's getting 4 stars instead of 5 is because the wait for our food felt a little longer than expected. Nothing crazy, but by the time it arrived, we were definitely checking the kitchen door every few minutes lol. Other than that, everything was great. The food was comforting, the atmosphere was nice, and it felt like one of those places that's perfect for catching up with friends or taking your parents when they're in town. Definitely adding this to my list of favorite OKC spots. Next mission: trying the brunch because everyone keeps talking about it.

Great food, great service, and absolutely worth the stop. A special shoutout to our server, Luz S., who was delightful and made the experience even better. After some brunch, we decided to try Quincy's since they moved to a new location. First, just so…read moreyou know when looking for Quincy's, it's in a small strip of businesses next to each other without much signage. The most signage was a piece of paper that said Quincy's so keep an eye out. Their choices were pretty slim. They might have had at most 8 different choices, which is fine, but only one of each for a few items. This was about 10am. Their specialty chocolate pastry was really good. It had a good chocolate flavor without being too indulgent. Their blueberry lemon scone was not good at all. Super dry, the flavor was more of flour if anything. I also bought a sugar cookie which my daughter loved, but I just couldn't get over paying $6 for the scone my husband and I didn't care for. Otherwise the other two items were good. No seating, so don't plan to hang around. They also don't have any coffee either at this location.

I love their coffee & pastries! If I could help you choose one pastry their chocolate babka I couldn't recommend more. I'll attach photos! Coffee would be their Dulce miel or ask about their seasonal drinks! Keep in mind It is an open space so people will host meetings or people gather but nothing some headphones can't solve. They also have a patio where you can sit with tables. There's a restaurant and bar also located within the premises would definitely check those out. They also host events or wine nights definitely ask the staff!
