Woke up this morning, went into the store and was again greeted by a smiling Russ :) we asked him to summon a paint specialist and he walked to the paint counter and mixed our paint. My favorite parts of the store are the tools and garden section. In comparison to big box stores like Home Depot and Lowe's, Ace has some items that not frequent sold like plants and tools. I've been eyeing some flowers like argyranthemums. Sometimes there are exotic varieties in the summer. Plant enthusiasts should check this and other Aces out.

My son's air filter cord needed to be replaced. Hardware stores used to do things like that, but every other place we called told us they couldn't help. We found Sayfee's in the old-school phone book and were told "bring it in and I'll take a look." The owner showed my teen son how to open up the air filter and deep clean it, and when that didn't do the trick, he rewired the appliance for us for a very reasonable price. I'm not one to toss things in the landfill that are repairable, so I was thrilled to find someone close to home who could fix it for us! The place is nondescript from the outside, but the personal service inside is worth a visit! We'll be Sayfee's customers going forward.

I called and described my issue which then they mentioned the carburetor might need to be cleaned and gave me a quote. When I dropped it off a couple days later, they suggested a full tune up for not much more than the orginal quote which I thought was fair and worth doing since I never got it done before. After leaving a deposit and waiting 2-3 days, my mower was ready. The guys at HK Small Engine provided great service and communication for the repair. They promised to give me a call if the work went over their original quote, which it didn't. The turnaround time was fine with me and price was fair. My mower works and sounds better than before which makes me excited to mow my lawn again! I'll be sure to come back for any future services.

THE BEST PAINT STORE…read more I was looking for paint since I was remodeling my house and wanted a more long lasting quality paint. The bald guy that was helping me was so informative. He was so helpful with my swatches for the interior of my house and even helped me choose the best finishing. The paint was ready within minutes and he helped me bring it to the car which I appreciated since it was so heavy. They have everything from brushes, wood stains, tape etc. to help with the process of painting. I also really like how all their products are really high quality. Definitely will back for future home renovations!!
