I would have written sooner about this place but there wasn't a listing....so. Shopped here several times, not going with anything specific in mind, and I've always gotten great deals. The first time I bought ten items and spent a whopping $100. Found great decorative items for my house, cute clothes, CD binders, a set of electric rollers, two gorgeous pillows for my living room chair for about $6 each and a bunch of other stuff I can't remember. I do not, however, recommend going anywhere near the place on the weekend. I never try anything on here; I figure if I don't like it, it's better to donate it to the Goodwill and take the tax deduction than to drive back. I've always gotten good service, although I normally go during the week. I see many complaints here about the clientele....what do you think this is guys, Nordstrom? read more

They have the best purses here, especially if you are like me and love Betsey Johnson. Some of the shoes are cute if you can find your size. Clothes are not that great at this location, but the baby clothes are the jackpot here. I come here for every baby shower and baby birthday gift. Absolute steals on name brands like Carters, Nike, Puma, etc. Security gaurds are very friendly, greet you as you walk in, and bid you farewell as you walk out. read more

I would consider this store a cross between a thrift store and a Ross. You will need to do some searching to find the goodies and there are some name brand items. And like Ross; long line for no reason and no order to their shelf; service are limited. But if you a thrift shopper myself; it a cake walk..in/out in 30 min. read more

I swear I can not stand a rude ass customer service person. I just called there an spoke with a person name Veronica an when I tell u she was rude as hell I mean it. All I did was call to find out if they had any pools available before I drove down there. Well she must didn't want to come to work because he attitude was horrible. I asked if they had some available her response we have what we have u need to come see!! Then I asked do they sell air pumps she then says Idk when I asked her to ask someone else she hurry up an sat no no we don't carry them. Well how do uk because u just said u wasn't sure!! She then yells an says we don't have them u come an see then hangs up!! So now I'm really irritated so I call back Veronica rude ass answers the phone I ask are u the manager she yells no I am not I ask what is the managers name then she raises her voice AGAIN an says do u want to talk to a manager or come in here an shop!! WTF now if I wasn't in my right state of mind I would've went down there an cussed her ass out. I really hope upper management reads this an schools their employees on how to be professional at ALL TIMES because things can get real ugly in 2.5 seconds. They really need better sale associates . Security is very courteous and greets everyone unlike the cashiers and women working the fitting room. Store is messy but you'll find one or two things in the store. read more

My issue with visiting this store was that I handed the cashier my exact change, a part with a large bill so I wouldn't have to receive more change back. She only took the bill and not the change. She did not accept it and said my change will be 61 dollars and 81 cents. I repeated to her again that I had the 19 cents I owed and she still didn't take it. The DD'S in Carson , CA was great.I had no complaints. Very friendly and helpful. However I noticed that different location have different prices. I went to the one in Inglewood. Not as clean or friendly. Also the prices were a tad bit higher. read more

I really like this DD's Discounts, it is conveniently close to my house. I like walking in and everyone working there welcomes you, but the one this that bothers me is the the check out. The team members yell, "next guest" when the customer in front of you has not yet walked away and they do not hand you your receipt. Other than this I do like there customer service. read more

Ok so I love shopping at DD's discount. The prices are great and I can get in and out for a quick item. But this particular store has terrible customer service and attitudes because they hate their lives & job. One particular thing I hate about this DD's location is that when its time to purchase they have you come to register while someone else is still finishing up their purchase. I just stand there until the person is complete because that is rude. And then they make you get your own recipes instead of handing it to you. I don't who the area manager is, because the supervisor/manager of the store is miserable like the employees. Hire others that'll be more appreciative of a job and not the current employees. read more

Long lines but good prices. They have a wide selection of items from clothing to furniture to toys and home appliances. I actually find them cheaper than walmart in terms of appliances. If you are moving, this is the place to visit first. read more

The clothes is nice and cheap great deals clean organize aisle.....but the staff ugh! Where do I begin?not helpfull ,ignoring,dread look on their faces as if asking to just shoot them...this Hispanic .lady. In the fitting room was the worst talk about not doing her job correctly...she didn't want to hold my clothes on the racks she said to leave it in the cart out of the dressing rooms:/ right bitch were someone can just take it? I asked her politely to leave my clothes on the racks like in any other normal store before u try them on....she said no so I said fine I just let it sly ...but then when I asked her to put the clothes that I had already tried on on the racks cause I wanted to separate them because I was going to buy them and I already had 5 in the fitting room she said she couldn't that I would have to get out of the dressing room and put the clothes that I wanted to purchase in the cart which was outside of the fitting area and leave it there ....I asked her why couldn't she just leave it in the racks till so I could try on other clothes she insisted that she couldn't hold them that I would have to get out and leave them in the cart myself...ummm she saw I was in a bra ! Isent that her fucken job? To hold your stuff on the racks and take you and additional 5? I swear I've never been treated with such disrespect she got me soo pissed off I seriously wanted to either punch her in the face or punch her in the face..I really had to take a few deal breaths she was getting me so frustrated ...I had to go back to the fitting room and brace myself I didnt want to make a seen or do something I'd later regret so after cooling off I went back out just to see she had called security I was like ehmmm ok...as if I was going to be ghetto and attack her.im better than that that's why I took deep breaths ...anywho I didn't end up buying anything just because of how I was treated even some lady that was in the holding area was asking her..I sent that your job to hold the darn clothes for the customers,I sent that what all the racks are here for?...common sence right?anyways I stormed out I couldn't even look at her...this was just two days ago what I've really should've done was talk to her supervisor BECAUSE I was telling my BFF about it and she reminded me that two months ago we were both having problems with the SAME lady!
