On the day I visited the store, the staff were friendly and I had no issues with the stores cleanliness. There was a sale going on Saturday October 14, 2017 for BOGO boots and more. At the register, the cashier was nice enough to tell me about it, so my daughter grabbed another boot. I didnt want to hold up the next customer in line so I paid for the entire transaction. I stepped out of line and had my daughter try on the second pair and they werent a good fit. I went over and found a better fit and got back in line to exchange the bad fit for the good one. Later when I got home I realized the cashier had only put one pair in the bag, I contacted the store and they told me they would review the cameras after looking at my transaction number and taking my info and call me back in a few hours -- they never called. I called today Sunday again, they collected my info again and said they would call me in 15 monutes. (That didnt happen). I called a third time an hour later and she said she "think" she sees both pair being put in the bag and that I probably dropped them in the car (I don't have a car). The biggest prolem here, the failure to return my calls and shes not sure what she saw. I wouldn't go through the hassle for something that didn't happen. Completely lost my business. I have been going here for 4 years and today I received the worst service, non-service. I was very sick and couldn't pick up my order so I called and the person told me she would hold it and to call if I couldn't pick it up by the weekend. She also told me to call to make sure if I won't pick it up that I get my refund, because they wouldn't process it unless i called. So I get there around 3:30pm today and nothing. The 'store manager' (was not on her badge) Bella Gonzales (NEVER GIVE YOUR LAST NAME IN RETAIL) told me she never said that on the phone and argued with me for minutes. INSTEAD of saying hey i'm sorry we just put that back and we can get you a better price for everything you ordered, she just argued with me. I asked for the district manager name and number and she argued with me about that. Then 3 associates went to the back to get the number and it took a very long time to give me customer care not what i asked for. Once Bella was sent to the back due to her lack of professionalism, the other associates offered to help me buy the items for the higher price instead of the in store sale price. I walked out and will never return. I filed my complaint, to which I was told the actual store policy which was not what Bella conveyed. I then bought $72 worth of merchandise online for the sale price (all items that were in store). This is unfortunately why many retail stores are closing its doors, due to lack of conversion, and poor customer service. I will just buy online and keep it easier from now on. read more

The staff was nice and we were greeted as we entered. The clothes itself is defined overpriced. Their "sales" are still expensive. My son wears 24mos and they did not have a large selection. Disappointed that most of the sizes were either very small or much larger. read more

Horrible service. I came to do curbside pick up. I checked in online and received a response that an associate was coming. After waiting for 20 mins, I call the number. They tell me they are closed now and still ringing up customers and cannot let me in because they would have to let everyone else in. I was told to come back the next day. This is the best Carter's store I've encountered. I stopped going to the Torrance one because it was getting so messy. The Compton store is the tidiest and has the best customer service always. Oniqua, the sales rep, helped me out today and was patient with me. I had a limited amount of time to shop and she expedited my transaction efficiently and smoothly. This is my go-to location from now on. It's right off the 91 fwy and parking is never an issue. The whole plaza is very nice and well-kept. read more

Called today during my lunch break today to see if they had a Christmas gown for my daughter and the employee found the gown for me and was able to put in on hold. Amazing customer service. This Carters store replaced the price tag store that needed to go anyway. So me and hubby have been baby shopping all day for an upcoming shower and noticed The Carters store snuggled between Ross and Party City with a big 50% off sign, so we decided to give it a try. And what do you know in the CPT we got a clean store, well stocked, greeted upon arrival, very helpful and friendly staff, these girls are great, like they really made our day, so kudos to them. Prices are reasonable and sales are even better, and we signed up for monthly coupons so I'm sure we will be regulars which is why I was compelled to add this business on Yelp because my experience was just that great and I needed to check in. read more

I was there earlier today with my 5 year old son and after grabbing a few things and heading to the register he tells me he needs to use the restroom. I went to the register to ask them to hold the items I planned on buying to take him to restroom ( I took him to that restroom a few months ago). The sales lady said they dont have the restroom there anymore and that there were no available restrooms there. It's a kids store! I d expect them to cater to the little ones by at least having a restroom for their customers. I left everything there and went to target (walking distance) and purchased the newborn clothes there.
