I found it very odd, but no one was yelling at him or running after him, so I proceeded right on in to the store. I'm always greeted with a "Welcome To Ross!" (Unspoken "We WILL watch you") by the black & yellow vest person posted-up at the door, so how could anyone walk out with merch riiiiiiight? It wasn't until I grabbed a cart and headed towards the lady's shoes section that employees started to gather around the door to discuss said man. This location has all of the "usual" Ross stuff. I hit the shoe section. Fairly good selection I found a lot of CA King sheets from which to choose. THAT normally doesn't happen. Regular Ross pet stuff, kitchen stuff, home stuff, men's & women's clothes AND THE REGULAR ROSS LINE! I give them credit. They had 4 or 5 registers open, but the line still extended out into the shopping isles. It's co-located in a large strip mall style shopping center. There's a Smart N Final, CVS, shoe store, Bank of America, Dollar Tree, O'Reilly & more, so it's pretty convenient to get a few things done in one trip. The Compton metro station is a .3 mile/5 minute walk north. That's nice if you don't have a car or commute on that line and need to make a stop on the way home.

The return policy has always been super strict and a little unfair. For starters, you can not return something and get your money back for any reason, however they do allow you to exchange. Please make sure that the tiny little price tag is still attached to the dress because they will not allow you to exchange the dress even if the little price tag is not on. To me that is an extremely petty reason to not accept an exchange on an item. Also do not mention whether or not you wore the dress even if it was for 30 minutes because they will not accept it. As far as value, most of the items there are worth the price. For the store to be there for so long they don't really offer many discount options and they don't have many sales.... Just marked off prices on items that don't sell.
