Continuing my quest for matching runners and rugs for the sunroom, laundry room and entry from the garage. One thing I like about dd's Discounts (aside from the low prices) is that all local locations carry like merchandise. I've been matching rugs from different stores to get all I need for my house. I've gotten a runner with a rug set for just $14.99! Cheap enough that I can just trade them out when I'm ready for a change. I am greeted upon entry by a Loss Prevention person at dd's. Good for them...hopefully it keeps shoplifting, and therefore prices, down. Score! Found one set there. Quick in and out. read more

I called around looking for a particular product. This store by far had the best customer service. The manager went as far as even allowing me to text him a picture of what I was looking for so that I didn't waste time or gas driving across town for the wrong product. Never have I ever hated a store so much just because of the employees. The worst customer service ever, I don't even know if they know what customer service means. The employees are completely rude to paying customers who are paying your hourly job. They honestly made me not want to shop or even look around for anything. As I was walking down the clothes aisle this employee rudely says excuse me, so I moved over and she said no you're in my way i'm trying to put clothes away and it's behind you (while rolling her eyes). And the employee working the dressing rooms treats everyone like a convict, patting down all the clothes as if I'm hiding weapons. Counts all the clothes, when you're done trying on the clothes he recounts the clothes. It is ridiculous it's almost as if I'm trying to enter in and out of prison! I've been to other DD discounts before and by far this one has the worst to no customer service at all. And because of the terrible experience I had here I will not ship at any dd discounts again. I rather pay double the price at other stores than to be treated with no respect and no customer service. These employees need to get retrained or they need new staff with friendlier attitudes, provides customer service or even put a smile on their face! read more

I had a horrible experience with an employee named Becky. She yelled at me in front of my daughters over not putting a sweater back where it goes. Becky got into my face and even called me a bitch. Went to speak to manager in charge and he did nothing. I will not be returning. read more

This place is so crappy. Not only is the store extremely messy and unorganized, but the workers are extremely rude and unhelpful. I've been to several DD's Discounts in other areas but none them were as bad an experience as this one. I browsed around the store for quite some time and the store actually has nice merchandise but the layout is terrible and they need more workers to keep the store clean. The aisles are way too narrow. I don't even know why they have carts there. You can't fit two carts going two ways down an aisle and the store is always busy so you'll constantly be running into people and saying "Excuse me!" it's just an overall annoying and inconvenient shopping experience. What took the cake for me was the fact that I had purchased like 7 frames and other wall decor that were really heavy, too heavy to lift and take to my car all by myself without breaking my friggin back. When I got to the checkout and asked if I could have someone help me out to my car the worker said "Oh no, I don't think we have anyone for that. You'll have to take them by yourself" and proceeded to check out the next person in line. I was livid! There were a bunch of other workers there that I saw while shopping but when I said F it and went back into the store to find someone to help me for myself, they had All seemed to magically disappear. I had to carry everything to my car by myself with all the checkers looking at me every time I came in and out of the store as if saying "oh you poor thing..." That experience was enough for me to say I'd never go back to that DD's ever again. Customer service goes a long way. All it takes is one bad experience for me and it's a wrap. The workers were so unhelpful and just rude overall so I'll never be back to this hell hole. read more

I have never been to a dd's store and prices are very low I was amazed made me wonder why I never came here before!!!! I would recommend for shopping. Also I would recommend store to hire only friendly customer service employees. The lady that took care of me I don't know if she was having a bad day or if that's naturally her but "Destinee" was not welcoming or friendly at all. Didn't look at me in the eye or greeted me, same with the customer behind me. She was not rude but doesn't have that good vibe to her. I was not done with my transaction and she was already ringing the other customer. I ripped the receipt from the terminal myself and not even a thank you or have a nice day nothing. Hope her days are better, I will definitely return. read more

Always super busy, never enough cashiers, messy store, lame men's shoe selection. Some of the decor and auto stuff is alright but not enough to stand in line for one million years to buy it. I've never had a problem with any of the employees, they've always been pleasant. But don't get me started on some of the ratchet people that shop there. read more

I've got to agree with all the other reviews. This is why I don't shop here. Horrible management & there's no such thing as customer service here. DD's really need to train their employees properly. They always have dirty items that they try to sell. Anything that is dirty is considered damage if you try to do a return. Therefore, make sure to check all your products before purchasing anything. If you see anything that is dirty or damaged, make sure to take it to the manager & inform him or her about it because they make it sound like they are so clean & neat. My mom shops here a lot & she wanted me to do a return for her. Their policy is 30 days for a full return. I called & asked if the purchased date was later than 30 days. The lady who answered the phone told me they would do store credit. When I got there, the cashier proceeded to do what she needed to do then told me the swim wear was dirty. She turned to another worker, which I assume is her store manager (Caucasian guy with long hair). He then looked at the swim wear & said it's been damaged & not just that, but it has been longer than 1 month and that if I brought the item in within 1 month of purchasing it, he would be able to refund the money. Got confused there for a bit because I was just told I was not able to get store credit because it was damaged, but he would do a refund if it was within 1 month. Okay?! He did not apologize or anything. Seems like a manager with no backbone. The security even stepped in the see what was going on. It was none of the security's business. They will go bankrupt because of $7. So I made sure to tell my mom to check all her products before purchasing and that if she sees anything dirty, for her to take it to the front & have them take it off the aisles or she can just stop shopping here. She only shops here because it's nearby, but it seems like they are going to lose more customers. One customer goes a long way in their paycheck. read more

Horrible customer service I called this morning to see if I can return something I had the receipt they said yes that they can when I got there they said that they couldn't because it's been used I bought it the day before and it hasn't been used or anything it already has scratches on it when I bought it so make sure you keep everything and make sure you look at it before you buy cuz that store is very ignorant the employees don't know how to work at a store or do customer service worst store ever read more

Was here with my wife to get some new wine glasses as we were having company that week. All i can really say is that they dont treat customers with respect. They treat them like thieves. My wife pulled out her wallet to make sure she had her check card. She then put her wallet back in her purse. A loss prevention person came up to her while we were in line. He asked her to step out of line. He asked my wife to take out the merchendice she took. My wife was dumbfounded. As was i. I was in the process of telling him that he can back off and call the police if he wanted to search her purse, when my wife dumped her purse out on the check stand counter. She pointed to the wallet in dispute. Her 198 dollar coach wallet. She asked the gentleman if this belonged to the store. He said no mam. There was no other wallet there. He looked dumbfounded. My wife put everything back in the purse, minus trash and tissues and wrappers tee hee, and we left without buying anything. Will never ever go back read more
