This particular Marshalls can be hit or miss and I only go here once in a while, but when I do, I sometimes find the best things. L O C A T I O N Marshalls is located at The Great Mall in Milpitas. The parking here is nuts. It's just hard to find parking during peak shopping days and it's also nearby a restaurant so you're also competing for spots with them. Just be patient or park in areas where there's less traffic and just walk inside the mall to get to Marshalls. Luckily I've been able to find something nearby. I N S I D E It's a fairly spacious Marshalls. Home good areas is on the outer edge with clothing for women and men in the central area. Shoes are closer to the mall area entrance side. Two areas to check out. One near the mall entrance and one near the parking lot entrance. S E L E C T I O N This is where it can be a hit or miss. They sometimes have Breville appliances. I've also seen Manduka yoga mats during the beginning of the year. What I do like is that everything feels much more organized than in previous years. They had all their spring dresses out which was kind of nice! I didn't have much time, but they did have a good variety. I was here to look at yoga mats and they did have a good amount to look at, just the type of yoga mat I want wasn't there. I'm a bit particular with the surface as I do sweat a lot. But the prices were reasonable with $30 being the highest price I saw. I recall when I did see Manduka mats here, they were roughly $50-80? Which yes, it's imperfect, but it's a steal just no warranty. S E R V I C E When I've had to purchase things over the years (it's been a while folks), lines generally go fairly quickly as they do have many registers open when they see the lines becoming long. O V E R A L L Marshalls is a fun place to shop if you have time to wander through the aisles and peruse. You'll sometimes find a fantastic deal for something you need or not ;) But be wary it does get really busy on the weekends, parking can be a headache as well as check out can take longer.

He watched with a stern expression as I took out my phone. I told him I just wanted to take a few photos and he smiled and said hang on a second. Then he pushed an empty cart out of the way so I could get a good shot of the interior entrance. It was so nice. I checked out the purses next. They had a large selection with several big name designers. I saw many that I liked. Then I saw a small black handbag that was almost exactly like one I had just bought online from a boutique for twice the price, except mine was in a different color. Next time I need a purse I'm coming to TJ Maxx first. The store was pretty crowded and it was difficult to get around at times. The aisles were narrow and goods from the shelves sometimes spilled out onto the floor. It was loud, too, with screaming kids. After about 20 minutes I started getting a headache and decided it was time to leave. I ended up buying a set of cutting boards, magnetic bag clips with strawberries on them, and a Kate Spade pencil case. Everything was so inexpensive. I was surprised by how low the total was at the cash register.

However, there were a few issues on checkout. I was charged for the lower of two prices on a bunch of canned soup I bought. That was good. But that mostly got wiped out by being charged sales tax on them all. Canned soup is not taxable in California. That should be corrected. Also, the receipt that got printed only shows the total. To get an itemized receipt you have to do "Email Receipt" on the checkout screen. Although it will just show prices since they are typing in the value on a white price label, not scanning a bar code. One $11.99 item got rung up at $12.99. But only 2 of 3 items I got from the refrigerated area were charged to make up for that. The items I got from the fridge did not have the price stickers. Not sure if there had been any prices on the shelf. Anyway, might wanna check your emailed receipt before leaving the parking lot.

Also got a 32oz Owala for $15 here. Theyre usually always $30. Unfortunately, they don't have these products anymore. Sometimes you get to find some gems here, I usually stop by every other week just to see what they have. The people were pretty nice too, I asked them a bunch of random questions about the place and they were happy to talk about it.
