This place was recommended to me by a co-worker and let me tell you that I'm glad I tried it out. It's is in a little plaza in a corner that you will not see right away. The place has this cozy feeling --- not uptight like the big places. Prices are reasonable and definitely worth the drive. It would be adviseable to call and make an appt esp when you're going later in the evening. I had my highlights done @ 645 pm on a Thurs night! So if you happen to make an appt at night, expect to knock because they lock the doors in the evening. It doesn't look open from the outside too. read more

Always love coming here. Raquel does an amazing job. I never have to worry about too much hair being cut off. She is very honest when it comes to trying new things with your hair. She did an ombré on me and I fell in love, she explained to get the look I'd want it'd take two steps and sure enough it came out perfect. Coming here is always relaxing and enjoyable. I have been coming to De Amazon since I was a teen, so at least 20 years. Carla has always been good with tones and highlights, and ombré on my hair. She's always done a good job and if there's anything off she's always more than willing to fix it. I love the relaxing atmosphere here and I bring my teen daughter here now. read more

So, I have been dying my hair for the last 4 or 5 years whenever I got bored (I was young). I finally figured out I should start to look more grown up which meant I needed to get rid of my two tone hair color and needed someone to professionally fix it. I had gone to other salons all over the area where they always assured me that it was the color I needed it to be. The only place to ever get my growing out color to my original color was De Amazon! I've come here on and off for about 4 years! Wow time flies. The only reason it's been on and off is because I lived in Nor Cal for 3 years. I LOVE Christina she gives great hair advice and understands what your looking for. I added a pic of my most recent hair cut which was just a trim with layers. I had so much dead "ombré" hair I was trying to loose. The bottom left is my new do. The two right were what I was sorta going for. "Long layers" I'm also adding an old photo from when she died my hair ReD! That was awesome. Oh and they are SUPER AFFORDABLE! I can't even believe it. read more

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I started coming here in 2013. At first the place was great but now go at your own risk. She has lost some really good stylists and now she is loosing me as a customer. As soon as customers left, she would talk about them...she would also talk bad about her employees. I once made a comment wondering what they said about me when I left but of course they laughed it off...well I found out that she did talk about me. Christina has an ugly heart...now only does she talk about people, she is disorganized and has unlicensed workers there. She doesn't list her prices because she changes the price at her discretion. she charged me $95.00 for something she had charged me $75.00 before. I only went because I really liked my stylist (Mark who is no longer there). She also ponds off her work on her employees after she has jacked up the clients hair. My other blowout hair place wasn't able to take me today, so I found my way here. THIS PLACE IS by appointment only! So don't just show up! I called at 10:30 AM to make an appt for a hair wash and blowout. Arrived at 11:30 and Christina was there to greet me. She was very nice and went to wash my hair straight away. Another employee came not too long after and Mark took over to blow dry and curl my hair. They both did an amazing job, and I will be back for future hair dos. They're very nice people and their times are very accommodating! Their prices are pretty decent compared to the area. Trust me, ive been to the low end and the high end, and for the price of a hair do at this place; it's totally worth it! I was in and out in an hour or so, I had a good time chit chatting so I wasn't even paying attention how long it took like I usually do at other places. read more

The owner Christina is really friendly as well. Prices are very reasonable and they only use quality products. The salon is always clean and thanks to Mark, very organized.
