I told her I would be paying through Zelle, and she gave me my total right then and there so I can pay. This caught me off guard because during my previous visits, payment was always handled at the front desk once I was ready to leave. I also noticed that the customer next to me was not asked to pay while still seated. For context, I was dressed casually in a baggy t-shirt and leggings, and I couldn't help but wonder if that played a role in how I was treated. Unfortunately, after multiple experiences at Miss Kawaii Lashes, I feel like I need to share my experience. I had my lashes done there several times, and every single time I ended up having to go back to have them fixed. My most recent experience was by far the worst. The lashes were extremely uncomfortable, actually painful, and were falling out in chunks. I ended up spending approximately six hours over two days going back and trying to get them corrected. At that point, I decided to go somewhere else. I went to another lash studio, and the difference was incredible. It was a little more expensive, but the experience and quality were absolutely worth it. I understand that things can happen, and I gave Miss Kawaii multiple opportunities to make things right. The technician informed me that the dermabrasion would be too much exfoliation since the derma plane is exfoliating as well. However, she still recommended doing a chemical peel and because I'm not that educated in skin treatments I proceeded with her recommendation. About a week later after my facial, I I noticed 2 burn marks on my face, which I assumed were from the chemical peel. While one healed, one has still not gone away, and this is a facial I received late in December 2025. I went back a month later and asked the technician(different one) what the mark was. She said it was like acne post mark because of too much exfoliation with both the dermaplane and chemical peel . She said it should fade away and recommended me one of their expensive skin resurfacing products. I did not buy it and this was my last visit here. 3 months later, I still have this mark on my face so I have an appointment with the dermatologist soon. I would still recommend this place for maybe the basic $70 facial, it's pretty cheap and worth the money. I do not recommend any other special services because it seems some of the technicians may not be as educated and it's not worth messing up your skin.

My visit was through Groupon…read more Tip: Checked in at the counter and signed in on the ipad. I would recommend to have your groupon code in the groupon account ready. DO NOT CHECK IT OFF until they tell you to show the valid ticket then they check it off. I got their standard head shampooing treatment. No upgrades to the session nor getting their premium shampoo. They showed me the scalp analysis in the beginning it was 3 mins really quick, didn't really elaborate what was going on. Good experience for the first time, probably wouldn't try again since I didn't know what it would be like. I would say when it came to the shampooing that's where the massage was present. It was soothing and relaxing. The standard shampoo they used was so relaxing, heavy scented tea tree oil and mint. It was cooling on my scalp. Pet peeves: Towards the end, they dry your hair with their hair dryer. They do use a communal hair brush because the there were previous customer hair strands still on the brush. I would notify them if you would like to skip using their brush. OR you can bring your own brush to brush your hair. When I was guided into the room they started the water fountain machine. It felt like I was left there half of the time in the session with the head spa water running down my hair. Not sure if that's normal for all head spa sessions.
