I highly recommend Rita the owner of De Premier Spa. She really listens to the client regarding what their issues are and works at helping you to function better for a being able to get back to having a quality of life without aches and pains. I went to her with stomach issues which ended up being related to a surgery of built up scar tissue and after just one treatment I began to have relief and I was so thankful. After seeing to GI doctors neither suggested that may be the issue and wanted me to go through very expensive testing with no relief so I am so thankful to Rita and will continue to go to her with different issues. read more

I went in to get a leg and bikini wax. The salon has a very nice atmosphere and the staff is very friendly. The scheduling estimated it as being a 45 min appointment and based on other services from other waxing salons this should have been more or less the right timing. However, the waxing took 2 hours to complete and I still have plenty of hair that was missed on my legs! I am incredibly disappointed and upset with the quality and time this took. The trouble stemmed from the beginning. She was struggling to get the wax to flow. She said it was not hot enough because she had forgotten to warm it in advance or something? I feel like this is a massive oversight and unexpected from a professional. She then tried a different kind of wax that seemed to come out more readily, but was only able to be applied in small amounts. As you can imagine, this made doing the whole surface area of the legs very difficult. I would not recommend this salon for waxing. The place is nice-looking and the staff certainly has good demeanor. I just hope they are better at their other services. read more

The Infrared Sauna has definitely detoxed my body, relaxed my muscles, improved my circulation and MOST of all aided in my 15 lb weight loss over the past few weeks! What a luxurious experience! De Premier Spa is unlike any facility I've experienced. Nestled onto the edge of a neighborhood with easy access from the freeway, the spa is clean and spacious. If you are reading this review and are experiencing pain, I would highly suggest that you schedule an appointment with Rita Olufowoshe. I often take the wait it out approach allowing time for the body to fix itself. The wait it out approach has worked for me at times; however, under the circumstances I am about to share, I greatly benefitted from the care and knowledge of Rita. I started noticing slight pain in my right arm over the summer. I just ignored it, hoping it would go away. The pain continued to get worse until it was extreme. An orthopedic surgeon suspected herniated discs. A review of the MRI confirmed his diagnosis. With this confirmation, I asked the doctor for an action plan. He gave me a handout of stretch exercises along with the following options: have spine surgery with a two or three-week recovery period, try pain management therapy, which would be given as an injection, or to live with it. None of these options seemed ideal. He prescribed five medicines that came from a compounding pharmacy. Of course, the medicine had side effects. I tried taking some of the medication but stopped. Then I tried a regimen of ibuprofen and acetaminophen, but because of side effects discontinued. A friend suggested that I make an appointment with Rita. I was apprehensive, thinking it might relax me but not help my arm. My friend said to try it as an experiment. At this point, I felt that I would not be able to return to my teaching job in the fall. Thankfully, I did schedule an appointment. After my first session, I did not experience immediate relief from my symptoms but felt like the massage was beneficial for my body. I continued with fourteen weekly appointments. Each week my pain lessened in one area and then would become noticeable in another part of my body. While this is a massage, it seems like more. Instead of just relaxing the body, Rita works with the body to find the source of the discomfort. I am happy to say that I do not experience any pain in my right arm and hand now and have a full range of motion. Occasionally, I feel a little numbness in two fingers, but it is mild and seems to come and go. I am grateful to have found Rita and to have escaped surgery, shots, medicine, and pain. I encourage you to seek her help if you are trying to get better. If you have no pain issues, I suggest you treat yourself. Rita creates a relaxing and nurturing environment much nicer than I have experienced elsewhere. read more

They dont cut your time either so if you pay for a one hour massage then you get exactly 60 minutes. The therapist is very knowledgeable about the human body and will get all those knots untied. This place is awesome. From the moment you walk in you already feel relaxed. It is spotless clean and the therapists are really nice. I look forward to their deep tissue massages and foot massages at the end of every month. I also get my hair done there and they are as good as they come. I am very pleased with the services I have received. I usually get the lymph drainage massage and I feel wonderful afterwards. After learning more about the lymphatic system, I realize how important it is for it to function well. Rita is very personable and takes time to offer information and advice. I was very disappointed... Called and booked 3 facials a week in advance, I was told they only had 2 therapist working so they could do 2 at the same time and the 3rd right after, so we agreed. When we showed up for our appointments we were told there was only 1 therapist as her employee texted her at 11:30am and said she would not be working; our appointments were at 1:00pm. They never bothered to call me to give me a choice of cancelling (we did not have 3 hours to sit there). So she insisted on doing two of us at a time in the same room which would save her time - it took 2 hours to do 2 of us!!! The facial was the worst I had ever had, my friend said hers was ok and as you can imagine we never got the third. I would never go back or recommend... she did not give me a courtesy phone call about the appointment changes so I will not give her the courtesy of returning. read more
