Seating has changed quite a bit as well. The furniture has gone slightly upscale. With that said, my buddy and I found the bar style chairs rather uncomfortable. Not only were the seats themselves a bit on the small side, but they were too high compared to the tables. My thighs were banging against the underside of the table. This is probably my single biggest complaint about the place. I would prefer to stand if it were allowed. Sadly it looks like their pricing has gone way up as well. As of the time of writing, a flight is now $10. The beer selection has also increased quite a bit. The beers that stuck out the most for me were the fruity ones. Special mention to the guava ale. That one is almost like fruit juice. The mango ale isn't as flavourful as I would've hoped, but I imagine certain fruits are simply more difficult to work with when making beer. I'm sure I'll be back at some point. Hopefully they fix the chair problem though.

They have "sammiches" and other pub type food. The food looked good, but I didn't get to try as I spent all my money on booze that day. Staff were friendly, and quite helpful. The beers cover quite a wide selection here, from light to dark. There are some test batches as well. Flights contain 4 tasters, for a total of 16oz. Overall the beers were quite good. Recommended.

Re-read the instructions on the pump, re-attached the pump, still foam and more foam. Keg packed with snow. Next day...same thing...foam. I usually have decent experiences here, the service is good, nice layout and the food is decent, but this pretzel was rough. She was really nice about my feedback and when my bill came, it was only $4. Thankfully she had taken the pretzel off my bill and was super super nice about it. Shoutout to Breanne! Maybe it's time to switch up the pretzel recipe but all in all, oak is a decent place if you're looking for pub food in langley. I prefer it over townhall for some reason.
