I had to do wound care for my mom. They changed the time for her second post operative visit. I had t drive from out of town 2 hours for a time change. We waited for 50 minutes in the waiting room. I asked them why she had not been called yet. Then, they placed her in a room for another 15 minutes. They sent my mom home from the hospital from a major back surgery the next day. She coukd not feed herself, barely walk safely, and had no home health for 2 days. I asked if she could go to rehab, because Noone could stay with her for the 2 week time period and Gina said no. She was rude to me in the hospital. So, my mom NEVER SAW THE SURGEON postoperative lt. She ONLY SPOKE TO THE PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT. This is a horrible practice with terrible office staff. The surgeon, physician assistant do not have a caring bedside manner or run the office effectively. I am sad for my mom, because she was told this was the best doctor at Hoag. I do not recommend this surgeon, physician assistant, office, or practice.

Please don't waste any more time or money with other doctors…read more We are no stranger to Migraines in our family. And we've been to a plethora of Neurologists. Three out of our four family members have daily migraines. Our journey has been long and hard. When my kids were younger I brought them to see Dr. Hutchinson. She is the BEST person. She's kind and genuinely cares. My kids felt safe with her and she was there for them. Fast forward to 2021. I just had an appointment with Dr. Molly because my Migraines have been getting the best of me lately. She is also AMAZING! She spent a lot of time with me to help navigate my complicated symptoms. She's down to earth and she actually listened. It's likely that you've been traumatized by the medical system. I'm sorry for that. When doctors (even specialists) try to treat migraines that are chronic or complicated, that aren't responding to medications or other treatments - they tend to blame the patient. "It's all in your head", or "Maybe you just need to see a psychologist". They feel helpless within the situation and tend to blame the patient. It must be the patient's fault if the treatment prescribed doesn't work. Neither of these amazing ladies will blame you or shame you for having Migraines or mental health issues. It's not your fault you have Migraines. Dr. Hutchinson's office is private pay. You may be thinking that you aren't worth the investment or you're worried about wasting your hard earned money. Perhaps you're concerned that you won't be helped. I'm here to say that you owe it to yourself to try - even if you've tried everything else. At the very least you'll be genuinely understood and acknowleged. And it's highly likely you'll be treated properly and improve your quality of life dramatically. :)

My primary care doctor referred me to Dr. Spokoyny, and from our very first appointment, I felt truly cared for. She was thorough, compassionate, and took the time to really listen--something that's rare in healthcare today. When it became clear that I needed two discs replaced in my neck, Dr. Spokoyny guided me every step of the way and referred me to an exceptional specialist who did an incredible job. Thanks to her care and judgment, I felt confident and supported during a very difficult time. I still see Dr. Spokoyny for ongoing medical issues, and she has never once made me feel rushed or overlooked. She respects her patients' time and treats them with genuine kindness and attention. My wife also sees Dr. Spokoyny for her own medical concerns and feels the same sense of trust and gratitude. We are both incredibly thankful to have found a doctor who truly cares, and we recommend her without hesitation. Al Powell

Spokoyny ordered a brain MRI, which found significant white matter, and sinus inflammation. Spokoyny told me not to worry about the white matter, the weakness was due to my sinuses. I didn't feel comfortable with what she told me, so I went to a neurologist at the Mayo Clinic who looked at the same MRI, and told me my sinuses aren't really bad, but the white matter was an indicator of MS. I've been through at least 25 neurologists in six different states. I've had epilepsy since 1991 from a nasty head injury. There have been some that have been close to what I want while others have been downright, off-the-charts awful. I went into Dr. Stein's office for my initial consultation expecting the worst. Moving to a new state = finding new neuro. As bad as finding a new hairstylist only for epilepsy. Dr. Stein came in, took her shoes off, curled up in her chair and started talking. And not the cynical "Oh yea? Prove it." kind of talking. "Wow. You've been through a lot." (Translation? She'd reviewed my info ahead of time so I didn't have to launch into my long, long story.) She even noticed that I'm more relaxed by an open door so we switched places and she left the door ajar for me. I should have known something awesome was up from the first time I talked to Nicole, her nurse. Funny, friendly, knowledgeable and if you've got a question she'll not hesitate to pick up the phone and find out for you. She even helped me find an ophthalmologist. When I asked her about appointment times with Dr. Stein she said, "She sets about two hours aside for each patient." WOW. For anyone who's been to a doctor in their lives, this is most definitely the exception not the rule Dr. Stein is the noggin doctor you want.

The things she said about my son and her uncaring smart a** attitude are appalling. She isna pediatric neurologist but is a nervous wreck when faced with a typical autistic child with high energy. She should retire and crawl back in the hole she came from!

It helps to come in with an open mind because he is far more than just a typical doctor. He opened my eyes to completely different ways of thinking about my health, my body, and the healing process as a whole. He does not take the generic surface level approach that so many western doctors seem to rely on. In my experience, he has done more for me in the last 6months than what generic western doctors have done over the past 30 years. The best way I can describe him is that he is like a doctor, a psychologist, psychotherapist and several other professionals all combined into one. He looks at the full picture, asks the right questions, and approaches things in a way that makes you feel like someone is finally paying attention and actually trying to get to the root of the issue instead of just putting a temporary bandaid on it. His office is also a reflection of that experience. It is tranquil, comfortable, and conveniently located right next to the freeway, which makes it easy to get to. I am very glad I was referred to him and I highly recommend him to anyone who feels stuck, dealing with an ongoing issue, cant pinpoint the cause of their symptoms, untreated by typical doctors, or like they need a different level of care and insight. I am definitely a lifetime client

The unfortunate part is that I understand Spanish, which is how I realized it was about us. Once we were taken back, Dr. Martinez proved to be the sweetest and most patient doctor I have ever met. In that regard, the experience was excellent; however, I do not wish to check in my father with such unprofessional individuals. This was our third visit to this office, and on two out of three occasions, she has been exceedingly unprofessional. I will be seeking a new neurologist, as I want to bring my father to a welcoming environment, not to a place where one feels unwelcome. On a positive note, Mary was one of the nurses we encountered, and she was the most empathetic, kind, and patient nurse I have dealt with in a very long time. She explained the medications thoroughly and took the time to address our concerns. I would return solely to see her!
