I came in to see the Doc and he immediately started breaking down what I was feeling. Definitely years of experience. A MIRACLE WORKER. How else can one describe Dr. Dean? After a failed attempt at lifting an ancient air conditioning unit (use your back, not your legs... or, wait, was it supposed to be the other way around?) left me in excruciating pain & unable to stand, I somehow managed to waddle into his office the very next day. After an hour of magic, I managed to walk out -- still in pain, not gonna lie -- but upright! And what could have set me back weeks, felt mended within days. I was having several issues after many years of heavy weightlifting and never once getting adjusted. Finally time caught up with me and the pain set in. After reaching out to Dr. Larit, he was able to see me the same day and identified my issues spot on. Love Dr Dean. I was skeptical about chiropractic practice before I started seeing him about 6/7 years ago and he changed everything for me. I first went to him when I was having knee problems and was wearing a soft flexible brace during my Pilates classes because my knee hurt so much and needed to be stabilized. He immediately saw that the problem wasn't my knee, but my hip... it was out of alignment! He snapped that sucker back into place and my knee issue literally disappeared. He's very reassuring and gentle and he lets you know what's coming up next, so that you are prepared. Dr. Dean was so accommodating when I made a super last minute appointment. I hurt my lower back doing deadlifts, but I didn't really know until I sneezed and hear my back crack. Bad posture, old injuries, and too much work started to catch up on me a few years back. At first, I could ignore the pain in my knees and feet. After I while I figured I'd just have to live with it or control it through medication. A friend suggested I try a chiropractor as I was probably having some alignment issues. I decided to go see Dr. Dean as he responded immediately to my call. He even spent some time with me on the phone in advance of the appointment, asking me questions and trying to understand the nature of my pain. After one visit, I was feeling a lot better. After a few more visits, the pain in my knees and feet was gone. I try to go weekly as I feel physically better and calmer after each visit. Plus, he's a funny, compassionate guy. This was my first chiropractic experience and it was amazing! I emailed Dr. Dean to schedule a consultation and got a text back saying that we could just have the consultation over the phone--which was way more convenient than going into the office just for a consultation. After the phone call, I was able to quickly schedule an appointment for whenever was convenient for me. He was super accommodating. I went in for lower back pain from a fall down some concrete stairs. I usually have some shoulder pain as well due to the nature of my job but I'd gone in specifically for my back. The adjustment itself was super quick! When he told me to walk around a little and see how I felt, I was shocked. I was waiting to see where I felt some soreness but there was no pain at all! I actually had to ask "is it supposed to work this fast?" As I was driving home, I didn't realize how much pain I'd actually been in before my appointment. I keep expecting certain movements to cause some sort of pain (tightness, soreness, etc) but literally NOTHING hurts. I'm still shocked. I feel like a new person. For anyone who's on the fence about trying this out, I would HIGHLY recommend just giving it a try. THIS GUY!!! I jumped ship from my old hack n crack to Dr Dean. He was subbing for my old Dr and I just couldn't help but to look him up outside of the office. Let me tell you I am extremely HAPPY with Dr Dean....I am a musician and I occasionally through out my back moving heavy equipment ( manly my bass rig ) and Dr Dean has been able to put me back on the stage faster than my other Dr's in the past. If you're looking for a great chiropractor, call Dr. Dean and you'll be smiling. My lower back has been a little tight over the past couple years, then in Oct 2016 a pinched nerve hit like a ton of bricks, and with it came intense muscle spasms in my mid/lower back that have been happening daily ever since. From Nov 2016-April 2017 I tried a few different things with my Primary Care Physician, but nothing helped (including 6 weeks of Physical Therapy). So I hit up Yelp, and decided to call Dr. Dean. His office is inside a yoga studio, it's calm and welcoming from the moment you walk in. Dr. Dean greets you with a smile and is such a nice person. Seriously, it feels like you know each other already! This is not your typical cold/stuffy doctors office. Started off with the relaxing heat pads while on the roller table, then a handful of manual spine adjustments, and I opted to add in the hand held frequency roller whatchamacallit he's got. TIP - if you have muscle spasms, treat yourself and ask for this. After my 1st visit, I had zero pain for 24hrs and that alone was magical surprise. 2nd visit= zero pain for just over 1 full day. 3rd visit = zero pain for 3 1/2 days. Woohoo! Dr. Dean worked wonders on my neck! I've always had problems with muscle spasms and alignment in my neck since I was 16. Then a few weeks prior to visiting Dr. Dean - I actually threw it out pretty badly and was experiencing severe headaches, couldn't turn my neck in either direction very far and loosing sleep because of the discomfort and pain. My visit to Dr. Dean was so pleasant and showed immediate results! Upon meeting him, he made me feel very comfortable, explained what he was going to do before he would do it so that I understood why and how. He was very thorough in asking what had happened in my past to understand the injury better as well as any pertinent medical history. He even explained this new machine that worked miracles for tense muscles - which I will be definitely coming back to have him use again! My neck feels incredibly better. I have full range of motion back, no pain, the headaches have stopped completely and I'm sleeping like a baby again - no more discomfort while lying on the pillow! Within only a few minutes I was able to make an appointment via text message. We continued to communicate in this manner, which was very convenient for me. Fixed me! I hurt my lower back about a month ago and I thought it would go away. After a whole month of every aspect of my life being affected, barely able to get out of bed, I made about six phone calls looking for any chiropractor who could take me immediately. I called Dr. Dean, he answered the phone himself (awesome), he asked me the gist, and he squeezed me in during his busy afternoon. He is super likeable but let's talk about the treatment. Dr. Dean got me in on short notice. My back was pretty messed up. He spent well over an hour with me trying to get me aligned and popped. At some point I couldn't stand and was in extreme pain, but after my session I was able to stand up in my own will. Though I still have pain, it's more of a sore pain and not a sharp stabbing pain like I had before. I'm sure I'll need more sessions, but I apreciaste Dr. Deans honesty and professionalism. Most places you hear about will tell you, "I need to see you 3-4 times a week for a month," but Dr. Dean said, "give it a day or few days to see how you feel. Was a former competitive gymnast and now coach at a high level. I have constant stress on my shoulders and back from spotting and wear and tear from my training as an athlete. Finally decided to do something about it, dean gave me a pretty stellar adjustment. He also used a machine on my shoulder that loosened them up so much within 5 minutes I have 65 percent more mobility. I have been to many chiropractors throughout my life. Dr Larit is in a class all by himself. Today was only my second adjustment with him and already the results are incredible. As a personal trainer and someone that works out 4-5 days a week it's very easy to have tight neck,shoulders and lower back. Dr. Dean Larit is amazing! I first went to him about 6 months ago when I pulled my lower back. He got me in the same day and I literally felt 95% better after the visit. I was back to normal in the next couple days.
