Dr Dean!!! This post has a long time coming. My first visit with Dr. Dean I could barely walk. My back was so swollen and I could barely drive. I was so discouraged. I found him here on yelp. I saw he had great reviews. Then i finally had the opportunity to interact with him. Dr. Dean listened to all my concerns and listened carefully to how and what I was feeling. I was in bad shape everyone to the point where my body would just tilt. After my second visit with Dr. Dean I immediately had more mobility. I had extreme neck and shoulder pain and I had been taking 5-6 Advil a day after a massage gone wrong. I was in so much pain, I decided to try a chiropractor. This was my first time getting adjustment. I called several chiropractors that had good ratings on Yelp. Dr. Dean was the only one that got back to me and was able to see me on the same day! After the visit, I still had some pain, but the stiffness on my shoulder and neck was so much better. But when I got home, I developed a shooting, constant pain down my left arm with tingling in my fingers and I was unable to sleep. I contacted Dr. Dean again and he saw me that evening to do more adjustments that helped tremendously! Felt better but basically I had a pinched nerve and ended up seeing a doctor for medication. Dr. Dean is a good chiropractor. I have no complaints but I'm taking one star off for always being late to every single one of my appointments and one star off for talking too much. Eventually I got tired of my time not being respected so I found another chiropractor. I can put up with the talking to a certain extent but the lateness was habitual and irritating. I've been dealing with knee pain due to a knee surgery but randomly got a hunch of going to a chiropractor to get reevaluated due to me also having pain from my right hip. Last week I woke up with pretty severe pain that started from the base of my head and ran down my neck and shoulder blade. I thought maybe I slept on it wrong, but after several days, the pain kept getting worse despite my husband's best attempts at massaging so I decided I'd look for a chiropractor. Most places I was searching were closed (it was a Sunday as well as Father's Day) and Dr. Dean's was one of the only I saw that had open hours, so I decided to leave a voicemail. I was pleasantly surprised when I got a text from him soon after. He asked what was goin on, I explained, and he mentioned that he had a couple of emergency appointments later that evening so I could come in. He was so nice to my husband and I and was really funny too! He made me feel at ease (it was my first time getting chiropractic work done) and explained everything he was doing. He put on some oldies music while he worked and kept the mood fun and light which was really nice! After the adjustment, I couldn't believe how much relief I felt. It only was my neck/back pain gone, but I noticed that the rest of my body felt so much better too. I probably should have gone much earlier! Dr. Dean checked in with me the following day via text and reassured me that a bit of soreness was normal. He let me know to tell him if I felt I needed any follow-ups in the future. Nice, clean office, kind person, effective adjustments. What more can I say? I have been to some charlatan "Chiros" over the years that left me pretty skeptical. The other day I was in a world of pain when I suddenly pinched a nerve in my neck and had some ribs out of place. Luckily my uncle recommended me to Dean, who was able to see me right away in his private office, with no other people around.
