In November 2017, I bought a used BMW Z4 3.0i as a spring, summer, and fall toy. The review of my…read morepurchase can be found at Jack Giambalvo Mazda on Yelp. The BMW is in immaculate condition, inside and outside. It looks and drives like a brand-new car. Recently, the orange oil light indicator would appear on the dash panel after driving the car for about 10 minutes. I knew the indicator symbol was not related to an oil condition because I had a synthetic oil change about three months after buying the car. The technicians at the shop where I had the oil change complimented the vehicle as to how clean the engine and parts were and the condition of the car for a used vehicle. However, I know that the oil symbol light is a warning light used for hundreds, maybe thousands of other problems within the engine. Also, the parking brake was not holding. I used Apple BMW of York's website to schedule an appointment for diagnosis and potential servicing. Upon arrival, Kelly Behr, the Service Advisor, greeted me with a big, bright smile, and introduced herself. She asked me if I needed a loaner vehicle, required their courtesy driver to take me home, or desired to wait for the completion of the diagnostic testing. I told her that someone followed me to the dealership and to keep the car as long as they needed it. Kelly called me two hours later and provided me with the technician's results. Apple BMW of York completed a full diagnostic of my entire vehicle inside and outside. The checklist was three pages long. Their analyses were complete and thorough; much more than I expected. Although, I probably could have taken my BMW to a roadside shop or a less expensive option. All of BMW technicians are trained, tested, and certified to work on BMWs. When you have expensive toys, you are expected to pay for their maintenance and upkeep. The same theory goes for my Lincoln MKZ AWD. I take the Lincoln to Apple Lincoln for the same reasons. A little snafu occurred after I received my BMW after the repairs were completed. One of the repairs was not up to my standards, and secondly, I found some grease or grime on the steering wheel, stick shift, and parking brake. The checklist included a complimentary car wash and vacuuming. The car was not vacuumed, but that did not bother me as much as the grease and grime. I called Kelly as soon as I got home and explained the problems to her. She asked me if I could return the vehicle the following morning so that the same technician could address the repair issue. She also said that she would ensure that a complete interior detailing would be completed in my car to correct the problem with the grease and grime. Kelly telephoned me a few hours after dropping the car off the next day. She explained that an additional part was needed to correct the repair problem. Kelly and I discussed the issue in-depth. I told her that the certified technician should have discovered the problem during the first round of diagnostics. After our discussion, Kelly met with management and called me back. She told me that I was not being charged for the additional part. Apple BMW of York described that they wanted me to be a happy, satisfied customer. They stood behind their product, services, and reputation. I highly recommend Apple BMW of York if you are in the market for a top of the line German-engineered vehicle whose competitors cannot compare to the luxury, design, quality, reliability, and drivability of a BMW. I can say the same for their service and collision departments, both of which I have used.

Using the BMW certified program to gain my trust tricking me into buying a vehicle I would never consider otherwise. Now the parts needed are not available. I decided to buy a car, so on October 11, 2025, I visited Ciocca Nissan in York, PA, between 10:00…read moreAM and 11:00 AM. A salesperson named Jack Bauer greeted me warmly. I had a budget of around $8,000 for a car, so I was looking for something reasonably priced. Jack presented me with a 2023 Mitsubishi Mirage ES with 42,000 miles for $15,209.81 after taxes and fees. I agreed to the offer, but I was new to Pennsylvania and had not yet built a credit score, so I couldn't make a down payment. Jack tried to work with me, but he went to his manager several times. The manager suggested a $4,000 down payment, which I declined. Jack and another salesperson named Bruce then came up with a new offer: 54 months at $259 per month with 9.88% interest, but they wanted a $1,000 down payment. I decided to think about it and left around 2:30 PM. Later, I called Ciocca Nissan and asked if I was eligible for a $500 down payment. The general manager informed me that I would deduct another $500 from the total price. He asked how long I would be staying, and I said 10 minutes. I was excited about the possibility of getting my car. I arrived at Ciocca Nissan at 4:00 PM. Jack instructed me to get insurance immediately using the provided number. I called and made the first payment of $328 and also got the insurance. Since my work hours started at 6 PM, I hoped to sign the paperwork and get to work. I informed Jack that I had limited time because I had to be at work at 6 PM. He assured me that he would give me a ride to work even if my car and paperwork weren't ready by then. Jack then went back to the management office. At the last minute, he returned with a new offer. I thought the deal was done, so I got the insurance as well. What was this? He explained that this was the payment amount. I was shocked and incredulous. Bruce, another salesperson, arrived and confirmed the situation. I demanded my paperwork and asked to leave. They refused. I took a few pieces of paper with my signature on them and tore them up. By this time, it was already 6 PM. I asked Jack to drop me off at work, but he refused. I expressed my trust in him and accused him of making my job even harder. If I was late or had any issues at work, I would blame them. Then, someone else from management came and dropped me off at work! I worked all night without rest! Why? Because I went to Ciocca Nissan in York to buy a car! The result was disappointing! I'm still having issues with the insurance company! So, the process isn't over yet! They haven't refunded me the $328 I paid. I earned that money working the night shift! Why am I having this problem? Because I went to Ciocca Nissan in York to buy a car! The result is disappointing! They have no idea what your situation is! They greet you very politely! They'll walk around with paperwork, meet with management multiple times, and say they're doing everything they can to help you! That's it! But then they finally reveal their true colors and intentions! Why at the last minute? Even after you've got the insurance? Because they think they're so smart! No one gives up after that! It was a waste of time! And a terrible experience with them! They acted like they were very professional, but they weren't! Their only goal was to scam you! And make a little more money! That's it! My friendly advice: Run away from Ciocca Nissan in York immediately! Thanks for reading.
