I bought a new 2021 Hyundai Sonata from Freysinger in 2021. Less than 2 years later and less than…read more17,000 miles later, despite oil changes at their business every 3-6 months, the car is completely undriveable. They made a mistake during the last oil change and did not tighten the drain plug securely. A human error easily made, sure, but it caused the engine to lose all oil and seize while driving it on the highway. It destroyed the engine, the drive belt, the starter, and damaged other parts. Freysinger has refused responsibility arguing that someone must have slid under my vehicle while I was driving it on the interstate like Keanu Reeves in the movie Speed and unplugged the drain plug because it would be impossible for them to have done it and my car to still function for a short period after. They have destroyed a vehicle that I paid them almost $40,000 for less than 2 years after purchase. They refuse to take any responsibility and continue to gaslight me. Hyundai corporate USA and another Hyundai dealer have both investigated the issue and found Freysinger Hyundai maintenance team as the most likely cause of failure and yet still Freysinger refuses to accept any responsibility. It's now been 4.5 months since this occurred. Meanwhile, I am stuck with a $10,000 repair bill, months of agonizing stress, and continual car insurance payments on a vehicle that cannot even turn on while it sits on another Hyundai dealership's lot waiting for resolution. I cannot recommend enough purchasing from literally any other dealer than Freysinger!!

When I called, the young man to whom I spoke was very nice. I explained the issue with the steering wheel and the fact that the car was past the extended limits of the extended warranty. He assured me everything would be covered and taken care of. When I dropped the car off for service, it was a completely different story. The steering wheel issue was not going to be covered. The young man who set up my appointment was not surprisingly no longer working there. Do NOT accept a promise from them for rainbows and butterflies. Make sure you get everything in writing. Their word is just lip service.

Even when they are close, they nickel-and-dime in any way they can. I've tried maybe 5 times over the past three years and never had a good experience. Won't give them another chance.

My Wife's coworker at the Game Commission suggested we visit this dealership. We were interested in purchasing a pre owned CRV. Rahals web site had several we were interested in. We explicitly said we were interested in CRVs at certain price point. We wanted to check out CRVs with options and without, we asked repeatedly about CRV's with more options. We wanted to compare the price difference of base and Premium models. Before checking our credit, The sales manager suggested we look a hundai Santa Fa at much lower price point. If we wanted Hundai we would have gone to the Hundai dealership. The sales associate visibly cringed. The sales manager blatantly ignored our request to see the CRV with heated seats and tinted windows , proceeded bring the base model out. After the credit approval, finance manager said we would have been approved for any car we wanted. I've held on to this draft for 3 plus years. Mainly because I was unsure of how to process the whole experience. I've asked others about their experiences , the majority are overwhelmingly positive. Unfortunately ours was positively awkward.
