Great little restaurant! We had 1/2 of the chef salad and it was so good. Everything was hand cut on the salad and the blue cheese dressing was homemade. The salad was the perfect size. Nice kinda retro feel to the interior. They have lottery machines so no one under 21 can enter.

As good as it gets, with excellent service. Good food with a sweet and simple menu. We had the fish plate and it was total yummers!

Chicken fried steak and breakfast sandwich.

What a breakfast! Delicious, hot, tasty! Nish is a great server and treated us amazingly! Definitely the best breakfast I've had in years. Take note America! This is customer service and quality at its best!

I LOVE this adorable little 50's rock 'n' roll styled cafe! Luckily, it was the very first place that popped up during a quick search on Google for delicious breakfast in Prineville. First off, it's tiny. Like super small and cozy. There couldn't have been more than 6 places to sit and not much room for large groups (although a party of 10 did saunter in and were happily accommodated). We were served coffee right away. It was weaker than I hoped but I usually don't walk into a small restaurant like this and expect Starbucks Reserve. So it was fine. My husband bellied up to Sue's Cafe Breakfast (choice of bacon or sausage, 2 eggs, hash browns and toast, $10.75). I chose Chicken Fried Steak (served with gravy, hash browns, two eggs and toast, $9.75). We were impressed! He got 4 slices of thick, perfectly cooked bacon which we agreed was generous. There was plenty of gravy with my dish and the hash browns were perfectly crispy. It was just exactly how chicken fried steak should be - deep-fried, fatty deliciousness! The portions were large enough to keep the both of us filled for our entire 6 hour trip home. I would definitely recommend Debbie Sue's, and will happily return when given the chance! One more thing - Debbie Sue's is strictly 21 and over, even during breakfast hours! We did see the owner enforce the policy. Some may not favor this however I respect the owner's decision to have a such a policy that's followed through.

Not good. Tasteless eggs and dishwater coffee. You get one piece of toast with your order. Would not recommend.

Small portions of Food Services frozen hash browns. Gravy on biscuits almost devoid of sausage. Nothing wonderful at all. Oh, the coffee. Absolutely awful. When we pulled up behind a car at the drive-thru window, a friendly gal came out the side door and asked if we knew what we wanted. The cinnamon roll wasn't "Cinnabon" but it was still good & scratched our cinnamon roll "itch"! It's easy to miss this place if you're not paying attention. It's on the side of the gas station itself, rather than a free standing business. Just watch for their bright red menu boards. We'll definitely be back!

The service was not all that friendly, the lady that helped me at the drive thru did not make me feel very welcome. I asked a few simple questions, like "what flavors of milkshake do you have?" and "what's your pink sauce?" and she made me feel kind of dumb for asking them. Overall, the food was good but I probably wouldn't go back because it wasn't worth the somewhat unfriendly/awkward interaction.

I usually get them to go but today I thought I would have it fresh off the grill and eat there. Inside there was a table of 4 and me. There were people outside too. They were busy. The table next to me got there order and 3 out of the 4 burgers were wrong, So after the confused waitress finally figured out what the right ones were for the other table they recooked them. Their order came out one burger at a time very slowly and they were still not right. Finally got it right. I had now been waiting for my burger for 40 minutes. But ok they were busy but I needed to get to work. I asked them how long would it be and the cook said he is just putting on the grill. Really? A total of 55 minutes and they hadn't even started it. I needed to get to work so I asked for my money back because I now did not have time to eat lunch. As I was getting my money back the waitress said sorry they were really busy. "That's fine but you made them wrong 4 times". I am now at work very, very, hungry and I work until 10:00pm

I was told by the Bartender they had to put water in the shot of Tequila. I thought that was strange and I asked why? He said they just had to because of OLCC rules. I asked if I could have the water on the side and he said no. I said never mind; I will just take the Dr. Pepper. Later I made a post on the Prineville Information page on Facebook giving information out to the community so they do not waste their gas or time, "I went to the Horseshoe Tavern tonight and they water down their drinks, I will not be back". After this happened the normal happened on Facebook and I was attacked like I gave out false information, while so many were defending the bar stating the old owners were to blame for the state of Oregon making them add water to the hard liquor. I was litterly verbally attacked by people of this community, (NOT all of them). The next day the whole post was deleted, and I got a warning from the group admin. I did not realize this until a friend reached out to me with some screen shots of the owners threatening me, Cody and Chris Suing. They own The Horseshoe, Wranglers, and Sons of Beer. I cannot believe that the owners of this establishment would stoop to the level threatening me or any person for only posting the truth and only posting what they are apparently required to tell everyone asking for a shot. By the way, I cannot find anything stating the State makes Businesses water down their drinks. I will be calling the state on Monday. I will not go into their establishments again and any get togethers I have will be somewhere else. I would not recommend anyone going there, speaking the truth will get you threatened.
