Tea in the high desert - IG @bougiefoodieboi
    Kyle W.

We wanted to eat an early dinner and were trying to find a place that offered happy hour. One of the places only had pizza happy hour which did not fit my friend's dietary accommodations so we were glad to find this place. It was not busy, full of empty tables, at 4:30pm and we quickly ordered before happy hour ended at 5pm. Food was $1 off though my cocktail did not get discounted $1 even though it said so on the website. We got albacore ceviche, cheddar bay fritters, beef carpaccio, 2 pork belly sliders, and zeppole. I tried the tea in the high desert cocktail which was fairly herbal with hints of tea, which was okay. Albacore ceviche - good portions with a good amount of chips. The albacore was fairly fresh and it was very flavorful and a bit tangy. This dish itself was fairly filling. Cheddar bay fritters - a bit dry and heavy for my liking Beef carpaccio - love the usage of chili oil which enhanced a typical dish into another level Pork belly sliders - delicious and great value at $3 each. It was so good I got an extra one for myself and even though it was 5:04pm, they still honored happy hour pricing! Zeppole - decent, also a bit dry, but the sweet strawberry sauce somewhat compensated for it. I love that the food came out quickly and service was speedy. This was what we needed while we jam packed our itinerary to try to see as many places as possible.

What a delightful place. The food was fantastic with fresh and local greens. Black cod seared to perfection and steak was spot on. Cuban sandwich was delicious as well. Happy hour all day Monday. Definitely will be back again to visit.

Menu back side tells this weeks farms.

Outstanding experience all around. Started with cocktails at the bar- the menu was really creative including lots of house made mixers like house smoked honey and ginger beer with house made syrup. Dinner was delicious see photos- and we wouldn't ever miss a skillet cookie! They list the farms of the week and tell their story on every menu. This chef owned restaurant is very sophisticated without being pretentious. In the sweet spot! Integrity and care on every plate. Great efficient and kind service and hospitality.

We went here for brunch. This was the best Strawberry Shortcake and Biscuits and gravy that I have ever had. Period! The waitress was also super sweet. She was so happy to see how excited we were about the food and also passed our compliments to the chef. The atmosphere is very family friendly and welcoming. I'm sure that everyone who goes there will have a great time!

Wow, I was not expecting this place to be such a nice restaurant in Redmond. It's hidden away in a quiet neighborhood in what looks like an ordinary house. When you walk in, a super friendly hostess will be there to greet ya. I ordered the halibut and morel, which consisted of much more than fish and mushrooms. There were mussels, asparagus, beets, caper in a very nice lemon sauce. Everything was straight from a farm in Oregon.

Lovely local place with delicious menu curated from regional farms and ranches. Cozy home transformed into an eatery, the ambiance is casual and classy. Super friendly and helpful staff. The menu changes weekly and with the seasons. Great reason to keep coming back!! Full bar, and brunch on Sundays.

Just good every thing about there nice it looked nice the food is GREAT I felt like could relax after my flight I would come here and I would come again best restaurant I've bean to in a year I would say! :D

Kind of overrated. The food was ok. The outside dining could use some sprucing up. I thought it was overpriced.

Always on the lookout for great N/A I ordered the house-made ginger beer. SO GOOD! Anyway, appetizers - We had: Patatas Bravas - yummy fingerling potatos Mushroom Tartine - this is PHENOMENAL, their amazing sourdough bread topped with mushrooms, goat cheese and herbs. Now mind you, it comes with 3 servings, and with four of us, well it was hard to split up. I wish we wouldve asked if they could do 4 pieces for incremental charge. I loved it so much if I come back this might even be my entree. Roasted Eggplant - omg, with spiced yogurt and pomegranate seeds, what an amazing taste combination! Braised Cabbage, in a curry broth, this was inhaled as well. While the others ordered the various pizzas, I had the Flame and Field Steak Salad, 6oz sirloin on radicchio salad with an amazing blue cheese dressing and lots of other stuff. My steak was PERFECTLY cooked to med rare and seasoned. And i'll mention, they dont put any salt/pepper on the table here, and they dont need to :) Service was on the ball, kind respectful and informative. The ambiance is very, well, TERRA. Lol. Look up on the wall, terracotta pots, lol. For excellent gourmet food, much of it vegan and glutenfree, prices were super reasonable. I'll come back here pronto next time I'm in town.

I took it back and told the bartender what I had ordered. She quickly prepared the correct drink. It was good. Not long after that the wind came up. We were all getting cold and agreed that we were not enjoying the experience. We left. Strike Two! The third time we came prepared for the cold and found a table that we thought was protected from the wind. We ordered drinks and food, from the food trucks, and settled in for a pleasant evening with friends. Soon the wind started blowing dust and dirt around us. We tossed nearly half of the food in the trash because it was too dirty to eat. Strike Three! Sorry Food Truck People, what we were able to eat was good; but, we will not be returning to Blacksmith Public House.
