Such a confusing ordering system. Ordered windows don't open, but if you stay in your car and wait for 1 of the 2 employees to come take your order, they may skip you for other cars. I've had this happen on every visit to the establishment. I tend to go sit at a table and wait for them to come to me and get slight faster, less skipped service doing this. I do like the food and prefer a local place over a chain but there are so many things this place could improve on. 43 min for a cheeseburger and drink & asked for a large with no ice but got a small with ice. read more

Food wasn't great. Onion rings were way over cooked, chicken was so hard you couldn't eat it, strawberry shake should have been vanilla because you couldn't taste any strawberry in it. Over charged us for our items. All in all I definitely wouldn't recommend this place. read more

A real deal throw back drive-in along the old federal highway just minutes from the interstate. If you want real food, cooked to order, and killer walnut shakes, stop. If you want quick standardized fast food, don't. Debbie's is not quick but my group of five liked everything: single and double cheeseburgers, fried chicken sandwich, fries, rings, and tots. Really recommend the tater tots. Lots of food for not much cash. How can you go wrong? You can't! read more

You don't exit your car, they come out and get your order and come back with bagged food. You can also call ahead, too! Prices are from another era, too! Just ride by this place on a Friday night. There is no room to park. This says it all. Now you will need to be patient. It is worth the wait. Just an old fashioned hamburger place. I am from Aiken SC and we have the Blue Top Grill. So when I come up to Newport I always make sure that I stop at Debbie's at least one time. I cannot say enough about how much I like this place. At 7:05 we ordered 2 loaded cheese burgers 7 nuggets 2 plain cheeseburger and 1 Philly sandwich w onion ring and 4 orders of fries with a soda and 5 milkshake my mom went and asked about our food at 8:05 was told we had a big order and that it would be another 10 to 15 min we waited at 8:15 my mom asked for our milkshakes and drin at least at 8:38 we got our drinks at 8:43 we finally got our food needs less to say what I thought would be an nice experience of good service and good food for my mom for the first time here was a bust never again will we be back! read more

This is the worst service I've ever experienced, I've called in several times, because if you don't your order takes 30 minutes, and the phones been busy. Today I realized why, I called in to place an order. They answered the phone I told them I needed to place a to go order, she asked me to hold. Then I heard her say, I don't have time to deal with this, she laid the phone down. I stayed on hold for 15 minutes after that I hung up, I kept calling to see how long the phone would stay busy. The phone stayed laying on the counter for over 45 minutes. This place could make good money if it wasn't for the terrible service. The owners need to get a clue read more
