It is a mom and pop diner we found in town while on vacation. The food was homemade and fantastic! Would recommend 100%

Good food,with different varieties of food to choose from.as a small salad bar, 1 or 2 desserts, main entrees with meats, vegetables and fruits, and rolls . Sort of reminds me of Shoney's buffets . More food is added to the buffet bar after 4 pm and reminds me of how Golden Corral charges more after 4 pm also lol read more

The main reason I am sharing my review is because the previous reviews were all negative and from my perspective are not valid. This restaurant is always full of local people, which says volumes. This little cafeteria style restaurant is budget friendly, and has home cooked food. They have a regular menu, but most people prefer the buffet. Dinner price is $11.99! You cannot beat it! The food is typical to the area. The restaurant is clean, and organized. The staff was friendly. All in all we had a very satisfactory experience. It's worth the stop. Traveling from Hot Springs NC, heading to Sevierville TN I went to yelp to find a place to eat. After seeing the poor reviews I was intrigued to give it a shot myself. Being 12:30 on a Sunday, the parking lot was packed. Upon entering a sweet older lady showed me directly to our table, promptly had a sweet tea Infront of me. The salad bar was amazing, my girlfriend agreed. Soup of the day was beef vegetable, so nutritious & yummy! We will be back if ever in the area. The hot buffet made me feel like I was eating a thanksgiving meal back with my family. A friend and I had lunch. Both at from the buffet. She also got a salad. I chose chicken (two types of wing- no other piece) Scorched potato squares. Okra. Green beans. Two bone rib. She got only 1 type chicken wing. Unsweet tea to drink. I had very little meat on the wing as one would expect. I decided to eat the rib. I expect meat to fall off the bone. It didn't. With a knife and fork I could hardly get any meat off the bone. I decided to quit and try the cake desert. It was not fluffy but thick like cornbread. So I gave up. My friend ate some lettuce and cucumber and gave up on her piece of chicken. Then I went to pay after not having a lunch; $38.75 I will never go back. False good reviews drew me in. read more

The food on the buffet is different every day & is always hot & fresh, not dried out. The salad bar is well-stocked & ice cream case has different flavors. I stopped by because it was close to my hotel and noticed they had pinto beans and cornbread on the buffet. Being a Tennessee boy and living on the coast of Mississippi I was needing some pinto beans and cornbread not red beans and rice. The beans were great cornbread not sweet just like mama Coles. Just so happens I had some hot chow chow from Durbin Farms from Claxton Alabama in my Jeep that made it perfect. We are so glad we didn't pay attention to these reviews on yelp but did see all the great reviews on Google and decided to give it a try. My son and husband got the breakfast Buffett which was full of ham, bacon, sausage and eggs. There was also amazing biscuits and French toast sticks. I ordered off the menu the western omelet. Me and my family we driving for 5 hours starving so went to big boys country chicken we came in people stared at us and not welcoming us in then we got a table and sat down we orders and I got Mac-N-cheese it tasted like 5 month old clay and noodles left out. Also I got come mashed potatoes oh let me tell you about that they but big skins in it and very watery I have no idea who cooked this meal but it was BAD!!On the way home I thought I was going to throw up I felt so sick I do not recommend coming here please take my advice. In all honesty, my hamburger was beer, barely cooked and I've had better burgers at Hardy's.The fries were not done ahead to send them back again.And they were still absolutely zero flavor. My son had the buffet and he said it was pretty much dried out although we came right when the buffet started. The bun for the hamburger was old and not soft. The hamburger had 0 flavor and they had a speck of lettuce on the hamburger, very chincy for the price and the price for the buffet.I would rather have gone to shoney's. read more

Exceptionally clean and bright restaurant. We like that! They have a food buffet available for lunch and dinner seven days a week and breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays. However, we have found we prefer the cook to order food off the menu rather than the buffet. One very big issue they have is a waitress with a serious attitude Problem who doesn't hesitate to argue with customers. read more

The decor is similar to a cafe style environment. Can be a little cramped if there during a busy time. Pricing was great. We eat here a lot on our way to our camper. I really wish they would give a discount for "bariatric" surgery patients. I can't eat very much and still get charged full price. When I asked, I was informed I could eat off the kids menu otherwise it was full price for the buffet. Also, $9.99 is a little excessive for the salad bar. Sunday chicken on the buffet is always the best. This place recieved 100 on their inspection. The person who posted about maggots in the food is way out of line. This place is always cleaned and up above most people's standards. When going here I definitely recommend getting the buffet over menu items but that's just me you can't go wrong with this place. I've eaten here many times, it's my grandpas go to place. They definitely cater to the older crowd. They don't season any of their food but if you specifically ask them to they might. I've had to ask them to season my food every time but it's about a 25% chance that they'll actually do it. Everyone that works here is elderly so maybe that's why they're so rude. There's only one lady that's actually really sweet and kind, sadly I've never gotten her name. We came in to get lunch the day after my grandmother died, because we were starving after taking care of the stuff for the funeral. Our waitress was extremely rude and snippy. Her attitude got worse after we asked her to do her job and get us some to go containers. 3 of us ended up asking at separate times. My mother apologized and explained that my grandmother (her mother) had just died which is partly why our table wasn't as organized as it usually is. The waitress continued to say she didn't care because she herself has no one left in her family and said she shouldn't have to run back-and-forth to get the entire table to go containers, then further chewed my mom out. She also got very snippy with my grandfather once he pointed out her poor attitude. Out of 6 of us only 2 somewhat enjoyed their food. Overall the food is mediocre and the service is shit. read more
