Great service and very friendly bartender who served me. Ordered a cheeseburger medium rare with fries. Cooked perfectly, juicy and delicious. Fries were served hot and a little crispy. We ate here the Friday after Christmas with a party of 7 and we pick this restaurant for our family.When we first got to the restaurant, it was not completely packed at all but did fill up as we sat their. We were seated in the very back of the restaurant, so it was very hard to see on the other side of the wall! The first bad thing we had happened my son asked for coffee and they gave him cream that expired several months prior that curdled as he poured into his coffee. We even showed the waitress the expiration date. We had to wait a long time for even our appetizer and salads to even come out . We waited a long time for food to come out even our salads didn't come out but right before our meal. We had one meal that was undercooked which was the hamburger steak where it was very raw in the middle after asking it for medium well. We had one person's food that didn't even come out with the rest of the meals while everyone else was eating she had to wait. In total we were there almost a total of 2 1/2 hours in total for dinner Which was ridiculous !!! I have ate at a lot of restaurants, but this is one I will not go back to, and I have ate their previously during the day also ordering takeout but not again The interior in the restaurant is outstanding, and the design is beautiful but The outside does look a little rough. They got my wife's steak wrong (rare instead of medium rare), and got my sister in law's steak wrong (medium rare instead of well done). Waitress vanished occasionally for quite a while. They have two additional fees they put on your check on top of the sales tax. They're very difficult to find, due to inadequate signage. We went with a small group of people and we were all disappointed. Several of us ordered steaks cooked medium to medium well. They all came out undercooked, mine was so red it was cold. Actually none of the meats that came were cooked properly. Our server was not great Once we were served she never came back to check on us. Never refilled our drinks which some people paid 4.50 for a coke. Hated that an 18% gratuity was added to the check which she didn't work for. We were all very disappointed and won't go back. Polite, but rushed us constantly. All the food was out and on our table in less than 10-15 mins. The Onion Soup was only slightly tepid Beef Broth with only one or two slivers of onion and 2 small strips of cheese on totally saturated piece of crouton bread. The wife's salad was so brown and wilted, that she removed over half the lettuce and placed it on her napkin for trash. The Entrees were less than desirable. Wife's Grilled Shrimp was cold, the burnt char dominated the taste, Sweet Potato Fries were Cold. My $32.00 Prime Rib was cold, the rub was extremely excessively salty and gritty. The Baked Potato wasn't warm enough to melt the butter. The 'Steamed' Broccoli was raw and cold, unconsumable. We chose to pass on Anniversary Dessert, avoiding further disappointment. Kids meals were mini corn dogs (perfectly cooked and not a lb of breading!) and grilled cheese with a side of mac n cheese. I needed a place to have a rehearsal dinner for 30 to 40 people. We checked out Fox and Hounds 3 weeks before the date because we were originally going to go somewhere else. The other place was going to charge an enormous amount for burgers and hot dogs so I changed my mind at the last minute. Everyone at Fox and Hounds were so sweet, helpful and accommodating to our every need from reserving the room to the night of the rehearsal. I picked 4 different entrees ahead of the event for our guests to choose from to make it the easiest on everyone. Our server Jesse was amazing from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond to make sure the evening was perfect. I know we will be going back to Fox and Hounds in the near future as the food was delicious and Jesse was such a pleasure. I got potato skins, French onion soup, salad, prime rib with a sweet potato, and apple dumplings for dessert. Food was excellent from start to finish and all came with everything you could want on it. Potato skins were awesome. French onion soup was the best I've ever had. We love that the food was open flamed grilled. Every dinner had soup AND salad, plus a side! We had the Tenn shrimp, Outlaw ground chuck and wings for appetizer. Fox & Hounds isn't easy find. The signage is poor. Once you find the drive you may get confused as to where the building is as it is buried in the back past two old restaurants and a trailer park. The outside isn't very appealing however the interior is nicely done. You can tell that they have put a lot of effort into redecorating the place. The interior is clean. They have used a nice set of white, gray and black colors to create an appeal. The prominent use of wood interiors was a good choice. I have to give a shout out to Brittany L. She was a fantastic waitress. She was very friendly and welcoming. She knew her menu and made us feel right at home. She hustled our drinks, refills, soups and salads. Great job Brittany! While I didn't get to interface with the other staff...I have to believe that they modeled Brittany's behavior based on what I saw. Now for the food. We started with the French onion soup which was recommended. The soup came out luke warm. Barely warm enough to melt the Kraft single piece of white American cheese that was placed on top. The soup had odd after taste. The piece of bread was an asset. The side salads my wife and I had were excellent. They were a nice size with plenty of fresh taste and accent vegetables. I doubt they made their own dressings. What was served had a good taste. My wife had the shishkebabs. She said the chicken was cooked perfectly. The vegetables were fresh, firm, nicely seasoned and cooked just right. I had the ribs and onion ring special. The onion rings were fantastic. The breading was thick but not too thick. They were fried to a golden brown but not too oily. The onion pieces were a nice meaty size! Well done team! The ribs were another story. These were baby back ribs. They were cooked to the right temp and color. The meat choice was very poor. It was FULL of small cartilage pieces. I picked out a pill that was about 3" around by 1-1/2" tall. Outside that...the sauce was very good! A little sweet but plenty of BBQ taste. Give them a try. I assume they are a work in process. read more
