She said, "this didn't lift very well in the back so you can come in another time and I will do a free touch up, I don't have time to fix it now". Huh? How about if I don't have time to come back? So, I left with poorly colored hair and never did have time to get back there before my next haircut. Close to $200 with tip. I went back for my next cut and color (like a fool) bit asked for a different stylist. Stylist #2 colored my hair, also a very poor job. When I pointed out the incorrectly colored part of my hair, she acted like she didn't know what I was talking about, then proceeded to cut and chop that part (until it was way too short) to try to remove that area. She said she would do a free touch up if I wanted to come back in but couldn't fix it right then (could it be because it was the end of the day on a Friday?) Again, who has time to come back in? She did not show me the back of my hair (which is very unusual). When I got home, I know why. One look in the mirror.....awful in the back!!! $170 and this time NO TIP. I will never go back. Way too expensive to come out of there having your color not correctly done and an unsatisfactory haircut. Now, I will spend $$$ somewhere else getting fixed. This is the first time I have EVER complained about a haircut. My feeling, "it's only hair, it will grow back"....but I want to warn people who might not feel the same. I will not go back there

My mother is a client as well and as a high school student I have never had difficulty checking out with our card on file. Rae seemed overwhelmed and dismissive to me. Otherwise, a visit to Scott Free is a fun yet relaxing experience and am hoping I just caught her on a one-off,bad day.

I decided that my bridesmaids and I would get our hair done there the morning of my wedding based on how available and caring the staff was. I received SO MANY compliments on my hair from the guests at my wedding, and my bridesmaids were so in love with their hair. They also do an amazing job with makeup! They were timely and very reasonably priced. We all received a small gift at the end of our visit too, which in my opinion makes the experience even more personal. I've since had my hair done for other weddings and even to match my Halloween costume, which I am convinced if it wasn't for my hair style, no one would have known what I was (see picture).
