Been to Savannah, GA many times but never stopped at this location for food and drinks at The Warehouse Bar & Grille in the Savannah Historic District. What we love about Savannah is that you can bar hop in the historic district with alcoholic beverages. The east coast is currently hot and humid so the cool air coming from the bar brought us into this location. I'm so glad we stopped at this bar because they had some of the best chicken wings I've had in a while! They were so delicious very crispy and seasoned well. We enjoyed this appetizer so much that we decided to order another basket of the same thing and skipped lunch. We ordered the Garlic Parmesan & Honey BBQ flavor with hazy local IPA 5/5 stars!! The restaurant/bar is inside an old historic building nothing fancy, but give this place a try next time you're in town. The service was excellent with very friendly staff. My daughter and her boyfriend were visiting Savannah for her birthday, and this establishment came up on places to go. They arrived at around 7 PM and it is their policy to check ID's after 8PM. They had no problem with that; they were already seated and had received their order of cold wing and fries that were incorrect. My daughter will be 32 years old on her birthday, and her boyfriend is 33. The waitress was rude when she asked for the IDs, and when the IDs were given, she still had an issue with them. I don't know if it was because they were from SC or if it was because, they had an issue with the food, or because the chose to only order water to drink. What happen to Southern hospitality? Maybe the wait staff was having an off night. My friends and I are planning a trip to Savannah, we were going to try this place because my daughter was excited to go here, but now this place is defiantly off the list! read more

This is a normal bar with good quality bar food. They have lots of TV's. Service is good. Staff knows the menu well and are happy to answer questions. It has an open storefront so it is a good place to get a drink on the river and watch the boats go by. read more

A fun and friendly bar with lots of TVs when you want to take a time out and watch some sports. The food is good. We had the buffalo shrimp, which were nicely cooked and seasoned. We also had the fried mushrooms. They were huge and really enjoyable. The beer selection is great and includes everything from local craft brews to the lager of your choice. Two things to note. Be sure to have your ID. They card everyone and they are serious about it. It wasn't a problem for us because we carried ours. They do NOT take the Georgia, Colorado, or Maryland digital ID. Also, there is only one bathroom so there can be a bit of a wait. Time your visits strategically. read more

I started out at this place to grab a quick drink before meet my colleague for dinner down the street. My first impression was this was a place with locals and visitors alike. After dinner I watched the sunset over the bridge then caught the sound of the Tuesday night band and wandered back in to check out the show starting around 8:30ish. After 4 drinks and a great show by the band and hospitable service from bar tender i stayed in my same barstool until the show was over at 11pm. This place seemed to have excellent food and the bar tender said they are known for their wings. I didn't have any food but I can tell you that the place smelled great. Both bar tenders were very friendly provided excellent service. I saw the one bar tender make 2 identical drinks and was about to serve the customers when he saw something in one of the drinks and immediately removed the drink from the bar and made another replacement drink for the customer. This is the worst and most unprofessional bar in Savannah. I am a 24 y/o female with an Ohio ID. The bartender with a grey ponytail told me he "didn't like my ID", meaning he denied me from getting a drink, after I got my real ID checked by the bouncer and got let into the bar. I proceeded to stand in the bar, non problematic, and the same bartender (grey ponytail) came up to me and said "I'm sorry but you have to leave". No reasoning, no explanation, nothing. My other friends with Ohio IDs were able to get there IDs checked and get drinks. I was the only one that got denied and kicked out of the bar. So unprofessional and disrespectful. read more

We came here in December 2015 on our engagement trip, we wanted to visit again since we will have been married 4 years. I'm 54 and my husband is 53. We were denied entry Tuesday night, quite rudely I might add. My husband's license expired July 8th, he renewed online and hasn't received the new license yet. All DMV's are closed in VA. We tried again Wednesday night with proof on his phone that his license is valid. We were denied service again! When you're carded isn't it to prove you're over the age of 21? I'm saddened over this as we will never be back! Outrageous treatment by your staff, it's all in how you speak to people. We have been to this bar a couple times before because of how great it usually is. however, the male bartender with gray hair refused to serve any of us with Ohio drivers licenses. we had already been allowed into the bar by the door man, but for some reason wouldn't allow anyone with an OHIO OD to get a drink.
