I had the unfortunate pleasure of needing a tow not once but twice within a few days. The first time was Friday afternoon. D called me saying his Ford Ranger died somewhere along the service drive leading up to the I-90 toll. His cell phone was dying and since he's old school and sports a flip he wasn't able to find a tow. We (well I) also had to figure out where to tow the car. I searched online and came across the highly rated Debo's. I called and the guy that answered helped me get a tow to D to Webb Ford in Highland. He quoted me a price of $165. I'm not sure how he came up with that but I went with it. I drove to Webb Ford and waited about 45 minutes before I saw Debo's truck coming in with D and his Ranger. He arrived after 6:30 PM which was a half hour after Webb's service department closed. The guy seemed pretty nice and D said he talked a mile a minute. So I went ahead and paid him and after he dropped off the car, he was on his way. I spoke to a lady at Webb's department prior to them closing and she said noone would be able to look at the car until Monday. Since I already set things in motion earlier for the car to be towed there I had no choice but to say that was fine. Monday afternoon comes and I received a call from the service department saying the catalytic converters on both the front and rear were clogged and gave a high price for replacement. I reached out to the dealer from the used car lot who sold D the car and he said he had a mechanic that could do it cheaper. But alas I needed another tow. Fast forward to Tuesday morning and that's where things went downhill for Debo's. I called them just before 11am to see if they could tow the car to One Stop in Hobart. The guy who answered said he could do it for $85. Again I don't know how they come up with the prices. Mileage wise the second tow was actually further. Maybe time of day has a role as well when it comes to pricing. Anyway I was happy with the lower price but he said that he wouldn't be able to get a tow there for 2 hours. There wasn't a sense of urgency like it was on Friday afternoon so I said fine. 2 hours later I call and I get no answer. I called a few more times in ten minute increments. During one of those times someone did pick up but they didn't say a word and hung up on me. I wound up calling another tow company called Sigma Towing who quoted me a price of $110. Again not sure what formula they do for pricing but he was available so I went for it. Hopefully I'll never have to deal with a tow again but I was not happy with the runaround Debo's gave me the second time around. Oh well. read more

This was the only towing company who came to pick me up after I sat in a Gary gas station for 3 hours, and drove me all of the way back to Chicago. Then on top of making that drive, just charged a flat rate to my insurance so it cost me $0. I got to sit up front with my dog in my lap and had an awesome conversation the entire time with the driver (who is also the owner) - the drive flew by. You know when you meet someone who just FEELS like a good person - like you can feel their good vibes radiating out of them? That is how I felt about the owner of this place. Legit awesome. Came and got me off the side of the highway at 1 in the morning after a blowout! Took less than 30 minutes to pick me up and had me home within an hour! From the call to the driver the whole experience was easy, pleasant, and professional! Definitely my first choice from now on! read more

We had an rear hud bearing go out on are nissan sentra. They called many part store to try to find the part they had to get the part from ebay. They really went above and beyond to fix are car and there real friendly at the shop. I recommend them too my friends and family. read more

ABSOLUTELY the best service. My van was broke down in Gary, IN at 10pm I called 7 other tows, they were either closed, out of business, or unwilling to service me. this company picks me and my family up very quickly and drove into Chicago at a good rate. We were driving from MN to Detroit and got a flat tire at 9 pm, in the rain, the night before thanksgiving. Someone from Debo's drove into the shop to help us find something to replace the spare with. He was incredibly friendly and the tire was very reasonably priced. Got a flat tire and wanted to get a new tire on a Sunday. Although they were closed, they opened the store up for us and took a look at our tires. They didn't have the tires we needed, so they called a local tire shop for us and directed us over there. They checked the rest of our tire pressures. We offered to pay for their time, but they said it was fine. Really nice people, and awesome customer service. Helped us out tremendously! read more
