This place is without a doubt now one of my favorite places I have ever been! I am a sucker for rooftops, which seem to be blooming and super popular at the moment. What makes this place greater than the rest is the exceptional panoramic view of the ocean, absolutely breath taking.
Add a pool and bar to this view and you have paradise.
We went on a weekday and there were not many people there. An employee was down the street dressed in a uniform labeled polo trying to promote the place, but we already knew what we were looking for when he recruited us. He kindly led the way in and was very friendly. We mentioned we were thinking of renting or going on a boat during our vacation and he gave us his card saying that he had a boat in case we were interested in renting it.
The hotel is super modern, like something out of space station, which plenty of colors and flowing lines to please the eye.
Part of the rooftop is covered by a roof with scattered sky light windows. The rest of the roof is under the sun including the infinity pool with a speaker in the corner. The pool was almost unoccupied and I felt so lucky to have so much space taking a dip while taking in the beauty of the ocean. The ocean view was unreal, with various shades of blue. Just look at the photos I posted. Along the edge of the roof closest to the ocean are several tables for dining.
There were a couple massage tables set up in the back awaiting customers. They have a full bar that makes some pretty good cocktails. I ordered some drink with mezcal that came with funky seeds.
A DJ came out later and played some chill beats while we sat and relaxed. There is plenty of shade for those who cannot handle much sun, although I loved absorbing the rays while sitting in the pool overlooking the ocean.
The view matched with the pool is mainly why I love this place so much. If I lived in this area, I would go here all the time, and I am not one to do repeat visits very often.
I definitely recommend going during the day to get an exceptional view of the water, although I have a feeling it's almost as great to go at night, too. read more
