Never been here before today, but I will definitely be back in the warmer months! The dining room is very nice, no wait for us today. The deck area was closed due to rain and it was too cold anyway. The prices are reasonable and there is a good bit of food to choose from. I have heard about their burgers, so that's what I went with. I was not disappointed! Very fresh and very good! The potato salad is very good and I recommend trying it! Our server was very polite and knowledgeable. The table was clean and the it wasn't too loud in the dining room. They have plenty of tvs if the game is on. The only thing I didn't like was there was a sports talk show on one of the TVs and that's what they chose to put over their music system. Some music would've been a better choice. This place does advertise live entertainment and there is a lot of room out on the deck to accommodate everyone! We had a great dinner, food was delicious. We tried the Gator bites which were so good and I had the grilled shrimp and my brother had the shrimp tacos and both were excellent. Better service at The Grid Iron. We had all met there from out of town, with our 91 year old father, who just moved there to be treated for dimentia. I drove 200 miles from TN, and my son and his wife 800+ miles from FL to meet... we never knew of the signs that were posted: no pets... until we had walked with dad up the handicapped ramp and gotten into the building. We had a small, 6lb inside dog with us, contained in a buggy, and had hoped to eat outside on the deck overlooking the lake, where no one was seated at the time, incidentally. Management couldn't have cared less. This establishment obviously is a draw for some in the area, but they clearly value rules over relationships and policies over people. They simply did...not...care what our circumstance was and even popped over on FB to insult us after we left. However, we had a wonderful lunch (better tasting, according to all my relatives in Centre) at The Grid Iron, just a few miles up the road, where the service was EXCELLENT. #gridiron We will be visiting my father in Centre many more times in the coming years, but the rudeness with which we were treated has ensured we'll never be back to this place until management changes, which is sad. I keep trying this place in hopes I'm just getting the wrong thing but so far none of the food has blown me away. Tried the grilled chicken sandwich today- chicken was rubbery. My daughters salad was much better. I don't try the mixed drinks- I just stick to beer- but they look good. My only concern with the drinks is all the mixers that are stored next to the bar. Maybe those are for the frozen drink machines but I prefer fresher ingredients for mixed drinks rather than the sugar syrup mixes. It's worth a try if you are in the area. Views are great! read more

Benn here several times. Love the atmosphere. The rest is so so. Ordered the Cajun chicken Alfredo last time. It was very good. The wings were overcooked. Not good at all. This time ordered the patty melt with loaded potato salad. Overcooked and potato salad ended up being fries. I know finding decent workers is tough but I don't see this place staying open for too much longer. read more

A group of MINI Cooper drivers arrived at the location for lunch. We had two small dogs. The owner refused to seat us. No where on their web page does it say no dogs. Actually if you search dog friendly restaurants in Leesburg it's the first location to pop up. We will never return as the owner was extremely rude. read more

We eat here pretty frequently! It is the kid's favorite, especially during the summer. Staff is usually very friendly and we have never had any issues with the food. Definitely bar quality food, but good for local! I will say this, I don't like my drinks room temp. My mixed drinks always come out room temp. Not a fan. read more

After driving by this place several times we decided to give it a shot. Great location on the water and a nice evening, we decided to sit on the patio overlooking the water (well at least where the water is .... it was dark). First thing, our hostess and waitress were both really nice. We were checked on several times through the night. We were both pretty hungry so we got a couple things so we could expand what we got to try off of the menu. We went with the boneless chicken wings (Bourbon BBQ and Asian flavorings). As anticipated the Asian had a little kick to it and the BBQ has great flavor. Wings were large and with our order of 12 we could have probably gotten a side and been satisfied. We also went for a pizza. We got the one with Pork and BBQ. I hate to say this, but we were really disappointed with the Pizza. Especially after it had been built up as being a customer favorite. For us the crust tasted like a combination of store bought and under cooked. The pork topping wasn't very good either. That being said, we can't complain too much. They made the best of the situation and ensured that we were happy before we left, without us asking (even better). Food: 2 - 3 out of 5 Great wings/Bad pizza Service: Really solid 4 star (bordering on 5 star) Note: We did come on a Friday evening about 8:00. They were pretty packed out and had very limited parking available at that time. Also, they had some live music, which was pretty good! This was a very fun and laid-back restaurant. Had a great view of the lake with dogs for boats to ride right up to. The food was very good I had fried shrimp which was nice size and tasted very fresh. I would definitely come back to this restaurant many times. This place is in an AMAZING location!!! On the lake, and in a beautiful setting!!! Pros. Location beautiful view, great for groups, food is good. Cons, DO NOT COME AT DINNER TIME IN PEAK SEASON!!! We waited for over an hour to be seated. Then waited to have our drink orders, then waited some more to actually get our drinks, and then waited again for our food. We were there for almost 4 hours. I wish this place the utmost success but they really need to do a better job at being prepared during peak times. Unfortunately this is not an isolated incident. If you happen to come too close to closing there is a good chance they will have run out of food. ALSO, DO NOT post ANYTHING negative on their Facebook page unless you want to be HIGHLY HARRASSED by the owners friends. We will continue to patron here because of the view, setting and atmosphere. The toast was left over from the day before, and the cowboy baked beans were from the economy section. Love this place! The atmosphere is perfect complete with island music, plenty of TVs and of course the bwater view from multiple docks. The BBQ pizza was delicious. We tried Decks & Docks today. We got the Hickory Fries for an appetizer. The fries were topped with BBQ pork and queso. The menu also said chives but I didn't see any. They were amazing. The meat was very good with a nice sweet sauce. The fries were crispy and probably good even plain. The queso cheese complimented the meat and fries nicely and was not overpoweringly cheesy. Benilda said the Hickory Fries alone were worth the drive and paired nicely with her beer . I ordered the Weiss Man pizza, their version of a meat lovers, on cauliflower crust with no sauce. I enjoyed it a lot! Benilda ordered the Leesburger hamburger. I tied a bite or two. It was a smash-type burger, the meat was fresh, and overall tasty. The bun could have been better if it was softer, like a potato bun, or even if the bun was buttered and toasted a bit. I would, however, probably order it myself next time because it was good. Benilda got so full on the Hickory Fries she took the rest of the burger home. The best part of all was the scenery. We sat outside on the deck. The food was great and the manager Willie and employee Abigail were SAINTS! My group of friends docked our boat outside the restaurant before we ate there. As we were attempting to leave, the boat would not start. One of our friends went up to ask the manager if we could keep the boat there over night. Not only did he agree, but he and Abigail came down to help us with the boat issues we were having. Unfortunately, we still couldn't figure out how to get the boat to start. And then, he and Abigail gave all 7 of us rides home. We are all eternally grateful and will be returning to the restaurant any time we can. read more

I am happy there are more restaurant options opening in Centre, but it would be great if there could be just one restaurant with really high quality food. If you come here you are coming for the sports bar atmosphere, the beautiful lake view, or the live music. The people are very nice but the food is just edible. The pizza rates with the crust from gas station pizza. The meat is not high quality. The fries and slaw taste just like that which is served at Captain D's. I only give two stars because of the beautiful natural setting. This is the second time we've given the food a try and am still disappointed the food is so subpar and all tastes like whatever US Foods or Sysco is supplying.
