We struggled with keeping the grass and weeds from growing, it sank in the middle and retained water all year long. We interviewed and met with 5 different companies for our outside patio, but from our first meeting Jake had us convinced they were the right company for us. Jake came to the table not only with competitive pricing, but with such an extensive knowledge base. He was clear and concise. We felt like we were heard. He took the time to ask us a lot of questions and met us with a lot of options to fit our budget. I loved that they took what our budget was and created something from that instead of trying to sell us on something we could not afford. One thing that I found INCREDIBLE throughout the entire experience with this company was their communication skills. Jake was readily available to us from the day I called just to set up the first meeting and estimate. Anytime we had questions or concerns, he or his partner Doug would respond to us IMMEDIATELY. They offered practical options to help us balance project size with cost, and the lead time they provided was accurate within a few days. Our project involved replacing a front walk that had previously been lifted using an injection method from another company. That repair failed because of issues with the base. Silver's removed the fallen walk and broken bricks, rebuilt the base properly, and tied the new step and walk into the porch. The seam is clean, flat, and solid. They also replaced several shattered sidewalk panels and tied them into the existing panels with rebar. Both the immediate cleanup and the follow‑up cleanup after removing the barrier were thorough. Based on this experience, I would absolutely hire Silver's Concrete again.

We have a smallish bathroom - the only one in the house - and Oscar came to give us a price on ripped down the walls, the ceiling, ripping up the floor and rebuilding the whole thing. We had a design but Oscar was SO helpful in leading us through important things to think about. We picked Oscar over other contractors because he seemed immediately like someone we could work with, who could we talk things over with and who would be practical with us as we worked through problems. And there were some. Termite damage, plumbing weirdness, uneven joists. In every case, Oscar talked over options with us, made recommendations and cheerfully proceeded with whatever we decided. In several cases, Oscar called us in before he completed some work to make suggestions that he thought would improve what we had originally planned -- and he was right every time. In addition, he was an absolutely professional and his work was flawless. We are thrilled with our bathroom and his amazing work. Thanks to Oscar and CSI.

We hired Evelyn and her team to build a patio and fire pit, and I want to give an honest review of…read moreour experience. The finished patio and fire pit look great, and we're very happy with the final result as it's been a beautiful addition to our outdoor area. However, getting there came with several challenges that made the experience frustrating. The biggest issue was communication. Our project timeline changed multiple times, but we almost always had to reach out for updates ourselves when there'd be a day or two where no one would show up at the home, without any notice. We didn't mind if the project took longer, but we were the ones asking. Another major issue occurred when one of her contractors drove a truck through our backyard during a snowstorm. The truck became stuck, damaging both our yard and our neighbor's yard (which they repaired). Afterward, we asked no vehicles be driven through our backyard again, and one worker complained directly to us that this was inconvenient for him. When the crew said the project was complete (via Evelyn), we still found numerous minor imperfections throughout the patio that needed to be corrected. Evelyn came out and saw those issues, and then they addressed them. Since installation, we've also had warranty issues. Several pavers cracked within the first year. Although covered under the lifetime warranty, it took nearly a month and multiple follow-ups to get them repaired. One of the wooden landscape borders has also shifted, creating a trip hazard. Evelyn agreed it should be fixed at no charge, but despite several requests and "I'll get back to you's", we're still waiting for the repair to be scheduled. At this point, I've given up and would rather hire someone else (and pay the money) to have it fixed. Overall, the craftsmanship of the patio and fire pit is very nice, but the communication, project management, and follow-through on warranty work left a lot to be desired. Several neighbors asked us for Evelyn's business card after seeing the finished project, but because of our overall experience, we chose not to recommend her. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, because with better communication and customer service, the experience could match the quality of the finished product.
