Pizza was good, but I will never go back based on the service. I went for the first time after hearing great things, I walked in and ordered at the counter and then grabbed a table (it was very warm in there btw). I assumed they just bring it out like other pizza places do, but she called my name with it boxed up. No big deal, I just asked for some plates instead and the girl at the counter said "you would have had to be seated with a server to eat in, so I actually can't allow you to eat here, you'll have to take it with you".... Best part is that I was never even asked if I was dining in or carrying out. So after paying $40 and driving 30 min home to eat cold pizza, I have decided to never go back there again. Make sure you can read minds if you visit this place (pizza was good though, I prob would have been a returning customer without this experience). read more

My very sweet husband, Sir Hubbers decided to pick up operation "Dinner Out is a go" for us recently as both of our Estimated Time OF Arrival "ETA" rendezvous back at our pirates lair was just not going to happen. We jump to plan B.. This is Florida man, "Florida Man" great food all around.. He knows I love "Chicken Franchisee" he knows everything.. I trust him completely. So he says he is going to pick up 2 chicken franchisee's & sides, meet me home in two shakes of a lambs tail with a surprise, as it's our Anniversary eve. (Night before) What he brought home was not Chicken Franchisee. What has now become the worst dinner we have ever had in our lives, the worst of the worst, the only dinner we never ate bc it was all so bad we just threw it all away, it was all horrendous, except the piece of bread. The italian bread knot/roll was acceptable. The chicken in the chicken & starch goo was cooked properly, however the fake bad lemon flavor starch goo sauce was so horrendous it was not eatable & the spegetti with it was drowned in it, as it was also way way way over cooked spegetti. We threw the whole dinner in the rubbish. The side salads were not fresh & it appeared they were cut up & prepared by a child. The vegetables were all cut different sizes. Very sloppy & unappealing plus it was past its prime. The oil & vinegar dressing was not even olive oil. We don't know what kind of oil it was. We threw the "salads" in the rubbish also. Sir Hubbers also ordered fried calamari. It was completely undercooked calamari from like a bag from Sam's club or some cheap bagged calamari. We both ate a couple of them & threw it in the rubbish also. We both felt terrible the next day, even thou we just had a couple of the calamari. We didn't eat anything the whole next day either. We just drank water. Ruined our Anniversary plans. Anyway, now after many discussions with my hubby about what has now come to be known as, "the worst dinner of our lives" the worst chicken franchisee we have ever had, the only way we can get over this horrendous experience is to have a sense of humor about it. We ordered food to go. The clam chowder was great & the pizza. Food was ready on time & reasonably priced.

We picked up a pepperoni pizza and an antipasto for dinner yesterday. We order from there about once a month and have always been satisfied. Yesterday's order was awful. The pizza wa dry and probably microwaved to reheat it when we picked it up. This was our dinner but neither of us ate even one slice. The salad had some over ripe cucumber slices on it we just picked them off and threw them away. I would rate it mediocre. I rated it one star because there isn't anything lower. I don't intend to ever go there again. read more

The last time I came here I think I overreacted. Maybe they were retired and just needed to go home and didn't need me coming in late to order something. I came back with my friend Frank to have dinner. We shared a pepperoni pizza and we both got a soda. The pizza was awesome and delicious. It was reasonably priced. This place is laid-back and casual and relaxing. The waitresses were terrific. Their names were Wendy and Rachel. When I'm wrong I admit it. I was in there the other day ordered a pepperoni pie got at home. Pizza was good but each slice have three pepperonis on them like they count them on each slice that is ridiculous and I'll never go there again. this is not the first time this is happened ordering a pepperoni pizza and there's not many pepperonis on it for 20+ dollars. i'm done. The pizza is amazing!! It's worth the drive and high price. You can get some of the speciality pizzas by the slice so you can try them. They also reheat well. We always get an extra buffalo chicken pizza to eat the next day. The pasta, veal and chicken meals I have not enjoyed. They are lacking fresh and natural flavors. We have been coming here since they opened. This is a family run pizza restaurant with friendly waiters & waitresses, awesome pizza, specials, pasta, canolies, etc., etc. The food is consistant and really good. The prices are great and never really seem to change. We really do have a good time here. read more

Service was phenomenal (Rachel). The pizza was great, but you need A LOT of napkins to blot the grease/oil. Spaghetti was a huge portion but I like a thick meat sauce & it was a little runny. Stopped in on a Friday night and the dining room was busy! That's a good sign in my book! Located in the business strip, Rocco's is a no frills location with great service. The large dinner salad is enough for a couple to share. We had the "Super" pizza (meats and veg). Both the salad and pizza were great. The wait was not terrible and based on the number of order tickets hanging, a popular place. Give it a shot! read more

The surface was very fast and we were in and out. I would highly recommend going there for some meals or some pizza. I think the food was good. visiting from out of state we decided to order pizza after a long day on the road. after reading other reviews we decided to give Rocco's a try. We ordered a pizza and cheese bread. The pizza taste was fine but the crust was tough and almost rubbery. The cheese bread had a lot of garlic and the cheese was melted on only half of the bread, which is basically a sliced hoagie bun. True NY Style pizza. Chewy crust with just the right balance of cheese and tasty sauce. Lots of topping choices. Large pizza is large. Food comes out piping hot. Service is always friendly and quick. I've lived in Spring Hill since 2007, and just tried this place for the first time last night. My only regret is not coming in way sooner! The food here was absolutely delicious, the server was so friendly and funny (blonde lady), and there's just so much to be said about everything. I wish the place was bigger for more seating, because they definitely get the business! I ordered clam chowder (I know, not typical at a place like this), but O M G!!!!! I didn't expect the soup to be this delicious at an Italian restaurant! Wow!! I asked the server how many times a week they do this soup and she said pretty frequently, so I'll be coming back for that!! My son was dying for some chicken Alfredo, so this is the whole purpose we came in the first place, because I just didn't feel like cooking. lol. My daughter ordered a cheesesteak (yes, I know, not typical again). She said it was good, but a LOT of food. She couldn't finish it, which was ok because it was monstrous. lol. Rocco's pizza is one of the top 5 pizza places in the Spring Hill area. My family and I enjoyed a mid-week meal that included savory calzones, New York style pizzas and a giant salad. Let's start with the crust test of the calzones and the pizza... yum!!!! The crust was so tasty that my 12 year old ate all of his crusts on his pizza slices!!! He usually leaves them on his plate. The calzones came with marinara dipping sauce that was delicious. The salad was surprisingly tasty, as well. The lettuce was crisp and it came with lots of perfectly ripe cherry tomatoes that were so good, we were sad when we ran out. Normally, we order enough food so that we have leftovers the next day. The food was so good that there wasn't a crumb left within an hour of picking it up. If you are looking for a delicious family meal that everyone will love then I recommend Rocco's. A very friendly and open atmosphere. We go often for a slice with a house salad, just a perfect lunch experience. Wonderful service each and every time we go. During out last visit, while having only one waitress, the place ended up having a group of nine come in and at least three or four other tables to attend. Today was our first time coming into Rocco's and I'm so glad we did! Ally took our order and she was super sweet and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was nice, not to crowded and not to loud. You can see the kitchen from where the booths and tables are. The wall is painted nice not just tacky photo's everywhere. We ordered a large cheese pizza with bacon and mushrooms. It was soooo good! I've eaten a lot of pizza in my life (military) but this has to be one of the best! My boyfriend ordered a calzone and he said it was very good also. We also liked the fact that they do single slices also so you don't have to buy a whole pizza. We will absolutely be back!!! read more

I stopped in here with my niece, we had gone on a girls day out and ended up in Spring Hill. Both of us were hungry so Rocco's was a natural stop. Upon entering, I swear both of our stomachs growled in unison, we both felt our mouths watering, it smelled THAT good. We were sat, and our waitress took our drink orders, both of us went for Diet Pepsi. We placed a simple order, a Large Cheese Pizza. ($12, is very reasonable for a large pizza) I watched it be made, put in the oven and taken out, it came out in less than 10 minutes and was delivered to our table piping hot and delicious. Maybe it was an off night for this place but our meal was a disaster. Ordered Antipasto Salad. Had high hopes when I saw it. Then I realized it was served with a cheap yellowish Italian dressing. Ugh! Tried eating it without dressing then I tasted the pickled vegetables (which I normally love) so salty it was inedible. Another 30 minutes and our pizza arrives. Burnt! Well, half was burnt to be honest. They offered to remake. I declined because I didn't want to wait another 30 minutes. We tried the non burnt side. Tasted OK if only we could get a bite. So tough tried cutting with table knife. Struggled. Asked for sharp knife. Met with some success. Ate one slice and requested our check. I'd had enough. The place was busy doing lots of carry outs so them must do something right. However I'll go elsewhere in the future. read more
