Unless you live downtown or work in the city and catch a movie on your way home there isn't much reason to visit this theater. There are more screens here than Assembly Row or AMC Causeway, but it's less modern. Due to the number of screens there are sometimes events that are only shown here within the area as well. I can tell that this used to be a very nice theater. However, it's in desperate need of renovation. It probably wouldn't take much. Refreshing the lobby, replacing the carpet in the hallways, and maybe an update to some of the larger auditoriums with recliners or AMC's club rockers. It doesn't even need to be all the the auditoriums, especially since there are 19 of them and even though they are just standard seats (outside of the IMAX and Dolby Theater) they're still decent. A word of caution that the IMAX here is a scope screen (so, not as tall as an IMAX usually is, even at a typical chain theater). The Dolby Cinema is good though and better than this location's IMAX. They're still the two best screens here and I would try to book either if you visit this location over any of the others. AMC could return this to a flagship theater experience by renovating common areas and say... 2 auditoriums (into Prime, or additional Dolby Cinemas). Right now though, it's dirtier with fewer amenities and a more difficult to reach (unless you're already downtown) than your other options in the area. All screens are laser projection though, and even 25 (yikes) year old Harry Potter looked fantastic (but Causeway and Assembly are also all laser, too). The employees looked to be doing their best, so I hope AMC invests the money to update this theater.

Our school uses this theater every year and they have been amazing hosts every time. The venue itself has an old charm to it, so while it may be a little dated, it didn't bother me. I love that on show night, they have a variety of snacks and drink options, even some alcohol choices. I was surprised to learn that they had a local IPA, which was awesome! Parking can be a pain with where it is located. We parked in the library, so it was a bit of a walk, but luckily it was a nice day so it wasn't a problem. I'm taking one star away because of the cost. They charge a service fee per ticket, so after all is said and done, I paid $40 for two tickets to see a middle school musical, just more expensive than I feel something like that should cost. It's not like the performers get paid. Overall it was a great show!

It has a box office on the left as you enter and a large wooden refreshment counter which was standard in all movie theaters of that era. The seats are newer and comfortable. I went to a comedy show there. It was my first time in the theater. It is run by Bay Colony Productions which hosts productions such as Nunsense, The Producers and a Three Stooges Film Festival. They also sponsor children's shows along with voice and piano lessons. The don't really advertise upcoming shows very well. You have to look at the marquee as you drive by on Route 140 to see what is coming up. It is a nice theater, and I hope to attend more comedy shows if they have them.

There is really not a bad seat in the house and I have sat everywhere here (my kid does community theater and uses this space as well). The seats are comfy too. It is a small theater but seats about 300+ but have also seen a show in the tiny black block downstairs (another space I love and very intimate). The location cannot be beat with tons of parking and a few dining options in various price ranges for pre- or post-dining and/or drinking. The Mosesian space is lovely and the New Rep is a wonderful theater experience without having to trek into the city.

The Mosesian theater seems very small & intimate, but holds nearly 350 people. The theater was very clean & modern, like a modern movie theater, with a low stage. Everything still seemes new. The seats were roomy & comfortable, with ample leg room. The seats are stadium style, and at a pretty good incline, so no tall people can block your view. Plus you are looking down at the stage. The first row of seats is close to eye level with the performers, as the stage is about 12-18 inches off the ground. It's easy for me to get to after getting of the T at Back Bay Station. There are two theaters inside for shows of different sizes. I find the seats quite comfortable to sit in with good legroom. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I've also been a volunteer usher here - you help audience members to their seats and get a free ticket to the show in exchange. It's a pretty sweet deal! They sell a decent selection of concessions inside. There's also a free water foundation by the gender-neutral bathrooms. There are also great restaurants nearby for a pre-show dinner and yummy ice cream next door, too. My favorite place for dinner before is Posto.

This is a more intimate space than you might be used to (if you're seeing artists and bands perform in large venues.) Ample free parking directly outside the entrance. These performances are recorded and live-streamed: Cameras are unobtrusive and present content on several displays (also unobstrusive.)
