Dead flower arrangement. Avoid this florist in Norwood. My son sent his mom flowers today they look about a week old and mostly are dead. Anybody who would deliver these or prepared these flowers, either figured the recipient wouldn't complain to the sender and/or the sender would never see the flowers. It's either a scam or they have zero pride in their work. These flowers were delivered within 15 minutes of another florist and those flowers were absolutely beautiful. I called in my order after viewing the selection offered on their website. The plant that I ordered from their website did not at all match what was delivered. What was delivered could have been purchased at Stop & Shop for less than $20. What was ordered from their website cost over $100. BEWARE! If I could give 0 stars I would. I'll preface this by saying I have never left a review but I had such an unpleasant experience that this merits a post. I placed an order for my mother's birthday by phone at Dedham Flower Shop without knowing that A Bella Mia Flower would be fulfilling the order. I specifically asked for roses and lilies along with any filler flowers the florist would like. I also asked for light colors specifically requesting light blush colors. I understand that these flowers may not be available given the current circumstances in which case I would have expected a phone call to allow me to change my order. My mother received something completely different that what I had paid for. The total of the order came to $94 yet these flowers do not reflect that value. The receipt clearly states "premium" which I'm pretty sure these flowers are not. After multiple phone calls and an email through out the day I was finally able to speak with Marie, the owner who was incredibly difficult and rude. Although I realize that whoever took my order over the phone was not clear in what I requested and that Marie just fulfilled the order per the confirmation Marie did not handle this situation well at all. She yelled and complained that I should not be worried about flowers in the middle of a pandemic and that she the business is struggling yet she fulfilled 200 orders today! I wish I would have read reviews before ordering. I ordered a floral basket for a funeral. The card was riddled with typos. The flower arrangement was extremely skimpy and the flowers were wilted. Other family members who ordered from a different florist were sent beautiful arrangements that were lush and healthy - with no typos on the card. read more

Very disappointed with this florist and its service. I ordered flowers for Mother's Day and they were delivered on the wrong date (an entire day earlier than stated on my email receipt). Given that the flowers were supposed to be a surprise, this was a problem. When calling to inquire, I was told that they wanted to cancel my order because they were too busy, but just decided to deliver the flowers a day early instead. I received no phone call informing me of the change, and they offered no compensation. When speaking with the florist, they quickly resorted to yelling and name calling. Great flowers, arrangements & customer service

I ordered bouquets from here for my wedding and overall was very satisfied. The flowers used in the bouquets were of spectacular quality and freshness. The owner allowed me to show her samples from wedding magazines during the planning process. I went in the day before to check them and she made some minor adjustments according to what I wanted ( I had her make my bouquet smaller and make the orchids more visible.) My one complaint was that the flowers for the groom and parents were not spectacular, meaning they were white orchids but they were browning a little. Otherwise eveything was great. She seemed a little disorganized at times but in the end everything worked out. I even brought in my own cloth to wrap the flowers in and she had no problem with that. Amazing Florist!! I called Maria at Dedham Flower Shoppe. I live in Colorado and so she was a perfect stranger to me. She treated me like family and went above and beyond to help me with a rather hard request. My mother died a year ago and wanted to be buried in Dedham Mass where she grew up. This week would have been her 99th birthday and the anniversary of her death. I really wanted flowers on her grave. This woman made the most beautiful arrangement and had her husband walk through the cemetery for almost an hour to find the grave and to place the flowers. They sent me pictures and I am just thrilled. She charge nothing extra. I had called other florist in the Dedham area and got a flat No. Use them they are wonderful!!! read more

Totally disappointed with this florist!!! I ordered a beautiful fall piece for my friends mothers wake. When I got there I asked my friend if she got all the flowers because I didn't see the ones that I ordered. She brings me over to the flowers and said here they are... Absolutely NOT what I ordered... I was so mad and disappointed and actually embarrassed. I wish I could post a picture of what I ordered and what was delivered. I called the very next day and told her that what was delivered was not what I ordered and she said no we made your flowers. So I again said no what I got was not what I ordered. They said that they substituted some flowers and actually upgraded my piece with better flowers. Dedham Flower Shop has been our family florist for years. The owner is great, she always creates something special whether for a birthday, holiday, wedding or funeral. I love that my husband will stop there often just to pick me out a little gift to make me feel special and whether it is just one perfect rose or a big arrangement Anne and her staff always take the time to make sure it is fresh, beautiful and just right for the occasion. When it is a difficult time like a family funeral Anne makes everything easier with her years of experience and knowing just what is needed. Deliveries are prompt and cheerful always. I don't know what the problem is with some of the reviews on this page but I can tell you if I have ever had a problem with Dedham Flower Shop, if I let them know promptly and with respect, the owner made sure it was put right. ok need to take deep breath to begin. first let me preface this with this is the place that did my wedding flowers when i got married @ the endicott estate. i am not a BRIDEZILLA actually my friends joke that i am a laid back bride slacker. so to begin we met with the manager anne who sat down with my mom and i for a lengthy time which was nice going over flowers. she was not friendly at all very cold and hardly smiled ever. i was excited because i love flowers and wanted to get a vintagey feel we decided on a certain amount which totaled a pretty high price..put down the deposit and since my mom was helping me with $ for wedding stuff she asked me if i could call and get the prices lowered. well the manager was obv bullshit over the phone very short and basically hung up on me..i looked at the phone and i was pissed why would i give $ to such a business prob was they had the deposit. i called back to add a flower for my friend who passed away and she was the same quick to get off the phone and extremly rude and unpleasent...i decided to try and ignore the flower situation and focus on how everything else was wonderful!!!! so here goes it - it's the big day! and WE ARE MISSING THE MOH BOUQUET and THE FLOWER GIRLS ONE!!! luckily we grabbed the centerpieces to make up for them..so i called today to let her know and she denied it and yelled at me..when I was being nothing but professional to her!!! she kept yelling and stated " i ran out of ink when you made changes to yr flowers which i changed once and added one flower" THIS LADY IS A MONEY HUNGRY BEAST with no customer SERVICE AND HATES THE WORLD I KID YOU NOT...SHE IS ONE SCARY WOMAN!!! Really not sure how this place is still in business with the terrible customer service they give. My mother ordered flowers from here for a funeral this past weekend (obviously my mother does not use Yelp, because she would have known to stay away!) My mom ordered a large arrangement from multiple members of our family that cost over a hundred dollars. The lady was quick to take my moms credit card information, but not very interested in talking about what flowers would be included in the arrangement after she had the credit card number. My mom asked if there would be roses in the arrangement and the lady said "Well I'm going to put in there what I have, this is really last minute you know." IT'S A FUNERAL, THEY ARE ALWAYS LAST MINUTE! IT'S NOT LIKE THIS DEATH WAS PLANNED! Anyway, needless to say, they did not even use a single rose. Thankfully the gerber daisies looked nice, but the basket was WAY overpriced in my opinion. Also, I will be getting married in that area next year and I can guarantee we will not be going to Dedham Floral Shoppe. Hopefully Yelp can steer me in the direction of a flower shop that has some customer service. read more

I've ordered flowers all over the country for 20 years and never seen such abysmal customer service...Ordered flowers for my daughters 7th birthday and received a call on the day of delivery that the driver was at the house but there was snow in the driveway...I was confused...He made it to the house and now won't walk to the door because of some snow in the driveway? Snow in Boston? Weird...After some back and forth and a lot of attitude for no reason she agreed to have him leave the flowers at the door and hung up on me...they weren't left...I even called them back and left a message to confirm...no answer, no call back...I waited til 8 pm and cancelled the payment on the credit card...the flowers were delivered the next day...even though they never even asked me if that was ok...Which I would of said no...I mean the guy was at the house on her birthday and drove off...Pathetic...They tell me now that they "never" leave flowers...Even though I was clearly told, and requested, they would be left...Ridiculous...I have family in upstate NY and they leave flowers all the time in the winter...Now they want to go take the bear that came with the flowers back from my daughter...Unreal...How is this place still in business? read more
