His wife runs the front of the house and she was extremely pleasant and helpful. They have a small concessions where you can buy beer or wine and snacks. The magician was a really nice combination of funny and good at his craft. There were lots of moments when I thought how did he do that? And lots of moments where everyone in the room belly laughed. It was a very enjoyable evening and very much worth the ticket price. I highly recommend this for a fun date night or family night.

The theater itself is very classic and old fashioned with a balcony and box seats on either side of the stage. I've visited this theater since childhood and it's always a treat. I highly recommend visiting for a show if you're in the area.

Avoid this place at all costs! The owner of this studio (Donna Grim) is a cruel, vicious woman. I…read moredon't mean that she is tough on the dancers, I mean she is sadistic to some. My daughter got "the treatment" when she transferred to the studio (she was a top-notch dancer) and refused Donna's suggestion that she join "the company" (the elite competition girls). We had moved studios because my daughter wanted to concentrate on her education, and just wanted high-quality classes without the time obligations. In ONE semester, the owner managed to destroy my daughter's self-esteem and self-confidence, and kill all love of dance in her. In hindsight it is apparent that she was brutally taunting my kid, although my child was scared to tell me until I finally witnessed something myself and started questioning her. (I am NOT a dance mom). When I talked to Donna, she blew me off and told me that even though my daughter was in all the same classes as the "company girls" she was excluded and was an outsider, because she wouldn't commit. The level of vitriol from this woman was spine-chilling, and I pulled my daughter immediately - never even finishing the performance that evening and the next. I found out afterwards that Donna (who taught the classes) would single her out and humiliate her in front of the other girls, calling her stupid and clumsy, and encouraging the other children to mock her. Mind you, my daughter was the top of her classically-trained school before she transferred in. Because of the genre switch, my daughter assumed that SHE was at fault, and worked even harder, but this horrid woman would single her out the next time. It has been almost 8 years since that happened, and my daughter has never danced since. I would avoid this place at all costs. YOUR kid may never get the sadistic treatment, but it trickles down to the other dancers. They never actually shunned my kid, but many other dancers were treated poorly by the other kids. It's just an environment that is dark and unpleasant.

Not only did I gain invaluable technique training from Donna and other fabulous teachers (namely Ms. Gayle-- the resident Ballet guru), I also learned how be a compassionate, team-oriented and driven person in the world. Yes, the classes are challenging. Yes, hard life lessons are learned on the dance floor, but I wouldn't trade my years with Donna for anything. I was encouraged to cultivate a passion for dance at Dance Unlimited that has stayed with me my entire life. The community that is created by Donna and the other teachers is one that is irreplaceable. I still keep in touch with many of my former team mates and their parents! My training at DU has paid off-- as I am now a professional in the musical theater industry-- represented by a great NYC agency and working in regional theaters around the country. Dance Unlimited is a save haven for those who love to dance and want to get themselves to the next level both personally and technically!

This was my first visit, and the classic décor immediately set the tone for a charming experience. The venue is small enough that every seat feels close to the stage. From the mezzanine, we had an excellent view and clear sound. The sold-out matinee of The Nutcracker was wonderfully performed and well choreographed, especially impressive in a more intimate space. Seats were comfortable, though legroom is a bit tight--but manageable for a two-hour show with intermission. A side exit conveniently connects to a nearby parking garage, which was a nice surprise. I'd happily return for future performances and gladly spend more time exploring the downtown area.

I attended Dance Dimensions as a student starting at the age of 5, culminating when I was 18 and…read moregraduating high school in 2020. I look back on my time there with extreme fondness and graciousness. I was given a strong, well-rounded training in all dance styles. All of my teachers were wonderful and able to give me a true dance education that made me appreciate the art form that is so often overlooked in our society these days. The owner Emily is amazing and is able to foster a dance studio environment that is strong and safe. My appreciation of dance came from this studio and led me to pursue dance in college. I received my degree in dance from WVU, and I have now gone on to teach dance and inspire the next generation. I always carry the experiences I have from DDH with me as I teach and try to embody the environment I was granted in my childhood. I would feel 100% comfortable recommending this studio to any child/dancer/family.
