Lovely people work there and some of the hardest working crew. the price was amazing for the quality of the carpet. it was soft and plush just like i wanted. We were finishing the renovation and about 10 days from my due date when we started to shop for carpet having no idea that it could take 3/4 weeks for carpet to arrive and be installed. We did not have the luxury to wait as we wanted the attic to be ready before the birth of our daughter and really did not know what to do! We went to Kas and prayed that they had carpet in stock that could be installed within a few days. Our salesman Nick listened to our plight and was super helpful in showing us carpet that they had in stock and could install within a few days. We chose a light grey carpet and was able to schedule an installation date for two days later. We received a call from the manager Sasha the next day that when they were rolling out the carpet to cut it for installation, they notice a flaw/defect across the entire carpet and wanted us to come and chose another carpet because they were not comfortable installing the flawed carpet. My husband and I immediately went to the store and met with Sasha and Nick who showed us the problem with the rug and why they were not comfortable installing a product that was not perfect. They were beyond helpful in showing us the other carpets that we could chose from and provided a better padding option for us for our trouble. Thanks to Kas Carpet we had rug in our renovated attic before the birth of our daughter. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone that is looking for carpet!

My emails were not answered, and my calls were not returned. When I asked about a refund, instead of helping resolve the issue, I felt blamed and insulted. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. I strongly suggest getting everything in writing and being very careful about transferring money before the work and terms are clearly confirmed.

We were scheduled for a Saturday, but had to call the Friday before to find out what time. We were informed that it would be around 1-3 PM because the crew wants to do another job before ours. We didn't like that, but there was nothing we could do. We were told the crew would call us an hour before they arrive. We eventually got a call and were told they can't come and want to reschedule for Monday. That's not an option because we do not currently live at the residence and we work during the week. This is why we scheduled a Saturday and we even left the entire day open for them because they didn't know when exactly they would be coming. Then some sketchy guy with an unlisted number called us and said he was referred to us by John (no idea who that is). He said to reschedule the job with Barrys and this guy named Kevin would come and do the job for much cheaper today. He said definitely don't cancel the appointment - just reschedule. It was super weird, but we were desperate. In the end, no one showed up. Still don't know who Kevin or John are, but considering we only contacted one company about the floors, we are guessing someone from Barrys contacted them. This is just a terrible way to run a business.
