I need folks to understand a very dear friend of mine took her elderly dog in and her other little girl in to have their nails clip. They've been going there for 5 years. Before the place was bought, a groomer named Helena, approximately 60 years old, right in there was not only abusive. She was mean, she hurt both dogs by holding these tiny little chihuahuas, so tight they were screaming.My friend pleaded with her to let go of my dogs.You're hurting my dogs.The woman was horrendous to my friend. This is not the first time I have had a friend go there. This is the second time. Now the abuse that this woman Helena put down on these 2 little dogs has got to be noted, it has got to be reported. This woman was horribly behaved. Rude is the understatement, but the cruelty that she showed towards those 2 little dogs and towards. My other friend's dogs is absolutely horrendous. Helena has been grooming our pups since we took them home. They always look beautiful and feel amazing after their "spa day" at Dee-O-Gee with Helena! You really can tell just how confident and comfortable they feel upon being picked up! She has provided advice on how to better desensitize them in between visits, which has proven to be so helpful! I just spent an hour here because between the amazing all-natural product selection, super-friendly shop dog and fantastically friendly and professional staff there was so much to get to know! Kristin was fabulous trimming my fearful pup's nails and Josie was so sweet and helpful plus super knowledgeable. Can't get over how great my dog looks! Although I dropped my dog off I could tell the staff had treated her wonderfully. My pup was calm as other dogs were lounging around when we walked in. Annie gave me the usual sad eyed, "don't leave me" yet sat nicely as I handed off her leash. Helena did a wonderful job with Annie, got her in right away and Perfectly priced! I had the worst experience here. I took my dogs in for grooming and was at first just a little upset because my long haired boarder collie was trimmed and was done poorly. You could see all the scissor marks and she missed his ears like she said she would but it was the first time at this place since we moved to Missoula. They use to go ever 2 months before. But then my wife had them and she went to pet him behind his ears and he wimmpered. He had a big shaved cut under his ear. Everything was combed down to cover it. This place has lost me forever and when I went to call about it no one called me back. I know stuff happens but covering it up and not making the job as good as possible instead of crappie is low and unprofessional. read more

Just moved to Missoula seeking a poodle groomer. They did an excellent groom on our standard poodle.

I really wanted to like Go Fetch! to support local business instead of the big chains (PetSmart, PetCo) but this place just isn't very good. Their website says that their groomers are there from 8am-2pm Monday through Friday for walk-in nail appointments but Ive been in 7 times and their groomers have only been there once. I get the same response every time "Oh the groomers had to leave early today." I understand that the groomers have flexible schedules but why even put times on the website if they are so inaccurate? When I went in today I stood in the empty shop for 5 minutes shouting "hello" before anyone came out from the back to greet me, and surprise, the groomers had to leave early. Every experience I've had here has just been very unprofessional. If anyone else has a good local shop for walk-in nail trimmings let me know because driving all the way out to Go Fetch! is a waste of time. read more

Had high hopes for this place because I love supporting local businesses but this one Isn't worth the trouble. First visit asked If they sold crates and the prices. When I went back to buy said crate the woman at the counter argued that they don't sell crates and said id be better off going to petsmart. Second visit was looking for a particular item. When I asked the same woman if they carried them she said no and said i didn't need it and my dog just needed more exercise or a companion. So I left empty handed once again. I have taken my dog here twice for grooming, the first time was fine and she looked great, the second time I had an awful experience. I had called weeks before to make an appointment for a day I was off of work and I was placed on a wait list. I received a text message stating that they were able to get her in that day, however it did not state to reply to accept the appointment or anything of that nature. When I showed up, the groomer was rude and stated I never texted back, therefore she filled the appointment. I told her that no where in the text it stated to reply back to the text and that I would take her else where. She said she could get her in and would call when she was done. I waited and waited and never heard back, her appointment was scheduled at 3 so I finally called back 15 minutes before the store closed and the front desk staff stated she had been done for awhile. The groomer never called to notify me that she was done so she sat in a kennel until I finally called. I will never use this place again and will never recommend them to family or friends. read more

I was referred to Helena at GoFetch! by a friend and called to schedule an appointment for my 5 year old cat who had never been groomed before. When I called, Helena said she could fit me in the same day and asked if I'd mind helping hold my cat during the requested shaving process. I was happy to do so as my cat had never been shaved before and I wanted to make sure that he wasn't in distress! Helena first clipped his nails and very patiently began shaving my cat. She was overall gentle and quick at getting the job done. My cat and I were in and out in a half an hour and for a very reasonable price! I tipped Helena 25% for being so great and will definitely be back! read more

Me and the wife moved into town not too long ago, and while Missoula is obviously a dog friendly city. It's hard to find quality pet food, and even more difficult to find someone who certainly knows their product. We go to the Go Fetch! on Reserve, and while we haven't been to the other locations we just love how knowledgeable the manager Jenna is at this location. She always seems to know what our dog, who is a very picky eater, will take onto. She is really good at picking out a healthy diet and has plenty of tips when it comes to feeding. The store can be pricey at times but it is a local business, and I feel it's worth it just to get professional opinions on our dog's dietary needs. Also they have a Wolf Hound in the back occasionally, which I think is pretty cool. read more

I special order food from Go Fetch for my dogs and they are really great about any changes I want as to quantities and such. They are always good at letting me know if the product is back ordered. Though the store is not stocked up like a Petco, I have found that they are very helpful at getting in anything I need that is not on the shelves. The staff always help me out with my heavy bags of food. This last year I was looking for a new groomer for my two large long-haired dogs. I tried a couple of places and was not satisfied. Someone suggested I try Kristen so I went and talked to her and told her my concerns about my elderly dog that can not stand long. She was great and came up with a solution to schedule another groomer to assist her so that my old girl could have some assistance. Both dogs have come back looking great after their visits. I would five star if they had more variety of product but they do great with what they have and so helpful to get something in if they don't. read more

Leopold is very nervous and does not usually get along with other dogs. I just brought him to Missoula this year. Previously, petsmart and the groomer at his vet told me Leo couldn't go back until he was less aggressive with other dogs. We'd also been asked to leave two different dog-training courses I enrolled him in to help him be less aggressive. As a result, I paid to have an inhouse groomer which ran about $135 each time. With all this in mind, I worried A LOT about starting over in Missoula. A friend recommended Go Fetch while my mom was dogsitting and she took him here and explained his history. Helena not only accepted Leo, but he was welcome back! Plus he looked sooo adorable! He's been back twice and each time, he actually jumps up to greet Helena instead of cowering behind my legs. This last visit, other dogs were hanging out in the store when I picked him up so I was nervous he would go into a bark attack but Leo was perfectly behaved! Once we got home, Leo was energetic. On top of all this, Helena gave him the exact cut I asked for and she knew how to cut his hair to prepare him for his first Montana winter. Definitely recommend Go Fetch. Also, it took just over an hour and cost less than $50. read more

Very impressed with service and the job done. Came in while visiting at the KOA behind the north store. Dogs dirty and miserable after camping and the staff made an effort to fit them on even though they were very busy. Staff were friendly and accommodating and the price was more than reasonable. I will never ever take my dogs here again! My husband already left a receive but I would like to give my 2 cents. The groomer said she has 31 years experience and she cut my freaking dog! And the haircut looked like a 2 year old took shears to my dogs fur. It was choppy and ugly looking. For someone with 31 years experience I would expect better quality. The groomer also complained that one of my dogs moved too much, which no previous groomer has complained of, that aside I would think with 31 years experience you'd know how to work around that. Having been a hairdresser for many years I have never cut a client nor would I ever cover it up the way this groomer tried to. How dare you! You should have told us you cut our dog. I understand accidents happen but to make excuses and cover it is unprofessional and unacceptable. You are the worst kind of person and I will never ever return to Go Fetch because of you. This place is AWESOME! The staff is friendly and they offer a variety of classes for every level and temperament of dog. There are many different achievements you can work toward with your dog, always something new to learn in a positive environment. My all time favorite activity is the small dog play group every Sunday from Noon-1:30 in the large, matted, dog gym area. I never thought I would be "that dog person" that actually takes my dog to doggie gym! But I can't miss it! My dog looks forward to it every week. read more

Wonderful experience!! I brought my shaggy 5 month old shi tzu puppy in to be groomed. He is loud and hates being bathed. They made an appointment for me at my convenience. I dropped him off for about an hour. When I picked him up he was unrecognizable. In the best way!! He was soft, handsome, and smelled great!! I even got compliments on him from customers walking in the door. It was so affordable and the staff was incredibly attentive and helpful.
